An excellent, succinct review of EZd6 with every aspect of the game engine well covered in sections, each with an example or two. Perhaps the only missing part is character creation. Also, I would suggest an exploration of the creative possibilities offered by the bane/boon/karma/hero dice system as examplified by the list of treasure items given in the book. I’m hoping his wasteland game and sci-fi games don’t suffer from increased rules or options bloat, I love what Scotty has done with this game!! I listened to your interview with him and it sounds promising, I’m gonna have to get them all in hardback I think, I’m kinda in love lol!!😂

My table doesn’t like tracking tons of fuel or hours of air and weeks of food/water, so condensing it down to supplies would be cool! And determining what they are on the fly kinda speaks to the kind of team they are, carrying more food or fuel as the feel permits
Sure. I think it might be better stated as, “EZd6 has made a deliberate effort to not be a simulation-style game.” Or use the “part” notation on the back half “…whereas more complex systems focus on the simulation part of RPGs.”
