I have been playing EZD6 for almost a year. I am an avid tabletop crafter, so I've been a big fan of Scotty for a long time, but even though I bought EZD6 the day it went live, I was mildly skeptical about its appeal and versatility as a system at first, until I got it to the table and gave it a try. One game was all it took! EZD6 is elegant, intuitive, and very fun for GMs and players alike. It doesn't take long to appreciate all of the qualities of the system that make it special and truly unique. Since that time, I have gotten opportunities to play EZD6 at the table of the Craftfather himself, and Scotty never disappoints. He is a real treasure in the hobby community, as is his wonderful RPG ruleset. Another Runehammer hit!
I got EZD6 as a joint birthday gift for my daughter (42) and grandson (9) last month. I had discussed it with her before hand, so she was onboard.
This was a great demonstration of the game as well as an explanation of the rules. Thank you for sharing!

This warhammer rules
I'm an oddball to the RPG hobby. Played Traveller in the early 80's. Never played any Dungeon/Medieval fantasy... I WANT to Play Steampunk . I will only play EZD6... for it's Genre flexibility and Speedy Play, and yes I've been working up a Steampunk Variant. I may even be drawn into a bit of Medieval/Fantasy thanks to EZD6 and DM Scotty. By the way... the 2nd Rat had it too easy! Leif could have Opposed the attack (see Page 13) making it a contest twixt Dwarf vs Rat... main difference is that Leif could spend Karma Opposing the attack.

This is really well done, and really helpful as a demonstration. Is there any chance that you guys would do a pt 2 that demonstrates magick and miracles? Both by and against the PCs?
