      He’s been closer to winning the MVP without winning it more times over the last 12 seasons than any QB, which also goes undiscussed by almost everyone outside of Max Kellerman, Bill Belichick, and Mike Tomlinson.
      Russ has literally been a top-5 MVP candidate every year since his second year in the league. No other player did that 2012-2020.

    [2:37] Not GOOD ENOUGH… Realistically, Wilson has been statistically sound his entire career including the last three seasons. Granted, his last season in Seattle was his first losing season. His first season in Denver was the worst losing record of his career, with a nascent coach. His last season in Denver, is far from being a complete failure…
    Now, I am NO Seahawks fan, so I don’t have familiarity with why that season went the way it did. However, in Denver, blaming Wilson for the chaos that was that first season is NOT solely on the shoulders of Wilson. It is entirely disingenuous to even suggest it.
    His second season in DENVER, was shear POLITICS. A new coach wanted to stamp his authority, and mark his territory like a dog in a new home… Denver could have finished the season with a winning record. Wilson could have won the last TWO games, but was benched. It would have not only padded is stats, but also given him, the team, and the organization a winning season, though missing the playoffs…
    Last season, the BRONCOS were within a touchdown or less of winning any game they lost, save for the Dolphins, Lions, and maybe the Jets game. Mostly, defensive failures if people are being honest. Wilson was at the helm of TWO different offensive strategies both seasons in Denver, not as simple as people make it out to be. Handled the second one better than he is credited for, especially since he threw more touchdowns than the league MVP, and matched his total scoring output. Plus defeated the eventual Super Bowl champions by the most points they had ever lost by in the regular season…
    NOT GOOD ENOUGH his @$$…
    🤔

      @johnnyblazers Месяц назад

      "Mostly defensive failures if people are being honest"
      They went on a winning g streak when the defense was creating 3+ turnovers a game. When those stopped, the wins stopped. Anyone watching the games knows their biggest issue was the lack of consistency in the offense moving the ball. Anyone watching could see how long Wilson would hold the ball andrun from clean pockets. He lead the league in passes under 5 yards and passes behind the line of scrimmage.

    • @DeCurtaRican
      @DeCurtaRican Месяц назад +1

      Yeah, that narrative is wrong. Russ didn’t force them to let him go sh!t. Pete let Brian Schottenheimer run a more explosive offense because it was the only way the Seahawks could win. The defense was pure garbage in 2020, the only season Russ ever had significant pass attempts, and Russ responded by breaking multiple personal highs, going on a tear that had him on pace to throw for 7,000 yards and 60 TDs (in 16 games, not 17), and leading the Seahawks to a 12-4 record and their first division title since 2014, the latter of which should also be credited to Russ.

    If by some sort of miracle JF is the starting QB, Kyle Allen will be his b/u, because the Steelers will have reneged on their assurance to RW that he would be the starter. The salary means nothing to Russ because he is a very wealthy man, and is sticking it to the Broncos for his $39 million guarantee, whether he plays or not. He will simple demand to be released, go home to his family and wait for the first call he gets from a team, desperate for a QB. Thomlin knows his job is on the line and he is not stupid enough to bet his job on someone who has never shown that he could give the Steelers more than another mediocre season.

    5:35 Fields ran for 1,376 yards last year, that’s more than Lamar Jackson & we do have that QB with Fields now & dude is wrong, Fields very much can beat them all out trust me. With Fields & our defense

    Fields was a better high school prospect and a better college prospect than Wilson, he has more natural talent he's just never had the kind of coaching Wilson had

    Heard the same thing about Trubiski. Wilson is way better than fields. Fields can run and throw but cannot read defenses. Both QB's have a losing record the last couple years. Hopefully they turn it around. Rudolph will be starting before long in Tennesse and will become one of the best in nfl. Pittsburgh drops the ball again. Tomlin will go 500 again and will be praised for never having a losing season.

    This is a waste of a segment. There’s no QB controversy in Pittsburgh. I mean come on anybody with brain cells and eyes knows Russ should start who’s a SB champion and a HOF QB. Fields sucks
