Thanks Scott I really like visiting the flea market and am amazed by your vision of what was and could be again when you look at those abused lamp bits! The lamp shade you showed deserves a new home.
I remember my parents taking me to the Hawaiian Cottage for dinner. Oh what a treat. We lived in the Cherry Hill Apartments right up on Rt 38. And I also remember another great restaurant a little further up the highway called Cinelli’s. Many a great dinner there also. Thanks for the memories Scott. Another great video. ❤️
Looking forward to seeing you transform those antique lamps!👍 That glass lamp shade is beautiful! Love when you take us along to the outside flea markets! Have a good week! 🇨🇦
Scott - My first car was a yellow, 1973 Super Beetle! It had air conditioning and the floor mats had bugs with bow ties one them. I really wish I still had that car. It was fabulous! 🥰🥰🥰
Enjoyed our morning at the Fabulous Fleamarket. Once the dew cleared we could see so many hidden treasures. GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT CONTENT. THUMBS-UP ALWAYS!!!!!!!
You are always at my farmers market and I have never ran into you but I am hoping to one day....i wish I had your knowledge to spot the good stuff and the skill to repair the gems you save out of all the junk that is there.
Fond memories of going to the Hawaiian Cottage with my parents. I was a shy kid and hated being called on stage to participate in the hula dance lessons. Their little saying for the rhythm of the hula was “Hit the apple, hit the orange, grrrrrriiiiiind the coffee!” ;-)
I have the glass doorknobs from my childhood home. After we thought we had scoured every nook and cranny of the estate, someone brought it to me to price at my dad's estate sale. She was so kind to insist I keep it when she saw my reaction. I found the second one recently in the garage, which we did not have as part of the sale. They are prized possesions.
Hi Scott!! I received my autumn pieces today & I'm thrilled with all 4 of them!! Thanks once again for more wonderful treasures.. Now on to the video!! Hugs to you & Salem!! 💕
Hi Scott, I really love your video style and the way you can bring antiques back to life again its very refreshing to see good hunting in the future. Paul 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thanks so much,,,when you put the songs and the history ephemora and just go slowly through the markets and shops it is sooooo appreciated,,and when you tie things together,,,it is fabulous. Everybody can see so many different things that you do and do not pick up..it means a lot if you live in a more populated place, I know however I can get better...at finding garage sales etc. Some items I want are not worth buying to mail across the land but I know a sweet woman with a collection of rolling pins she put in a wine rack..even she would save that purchase for a local but i want a glass cake stand to make some pretty dinner table vignettes and one rolling pin..lol. We had sheep wagons when little from mid 1800's to 20's And the iron cooking pans we cleaned up and used...I am not sure if those rusty ones were to far gone..God bless you..it is such a happy break..I was fortunate to have silly and some gorgeous things I loved and was interested in and felt close to my parents. My great nephew at 4 got his first car..a VW bug last Christmas...from his great grandpa who I just got to spend a week with...86. The whole thing makes you have a lump in your throat..all of it..and gratitude to you for preservation and making it fun. God Bless.
I like the way you show the items on the video. Scott you do see the beauty behind the trash. Looking forward to see the lamps done. I like willow pattern a lot, one of my first buys for plates was a willow pattern one (Finland company name Arabia). Have a great Sunday!
I love the info you tucked in there about McCormick's and the Hawaiian place. Thanks for taking the time to put that in. I love the back story on pieces. Nothing quite as scary as an old deteriorating baby doll.
This was a great change-of-pace visit! I enjoyed your foggy morning. I wake up to that every morning here at my coastal location, 10 miles from Surf Beach! It's rare that I go to bed with the sunset, and/or rise with the sunrise. The fog burns off around 1100 most mornings.---There are no flea markets around here, but there may be some in the bigger towns requiring a drive of an hour or more. Some garage sales, but I'm on-call every weekend so don't do any exploring.---It's fun watching you restore lamps, so I'll be hoping to see some results.
I love the flea market. I love going myself, and I love going vicariously through others as well. I love the creepy baby doll. I think it's wonderful that you rescued those lamps to restore.
Scott, this was one of if not the best flea market videos you've done! Can't wait to see the Christmas tree stand after you fix it up. Give my love to handsome Salem!
I loved that tea set the third find. Beautiful blue willow. And I can't wait to see more lamp restoration. Have a blessed Sunday. Hugs to you and Salem💚🐱💚😊💚🐱💚🐱💚🐱💚
Scott, I hope you video the restorations of the lamps and Christmas tree holder. That would be fantastic to watch! A lot of interesting items at that flea market. I saw several things I would've had to give a look. Thanks for the tour!
Thankyou Scott, very interesting. Love the Blue Willow crockery and would have loved to have had a close look at the other teacups you passed by. Especially the blue and gold crockery set at the start. Never seen anything like it. Female 55yrs. Overall very interesting variety.
I'm a big Blue Willow fan lover, always love to see some program about them :) I have two sets of Blue Willow children's tea sets from the 50's,adore them. They've become so scarce, very expensive and sought after. I've recently see on Replacements Pty Ltd,one flat tea cup goes for $7.99 - now I appreciate mine even more :)
Thank you for taking us with you today-was fun to see all the items you chose. Just wanted to ask, after you restore that neat Christmas tree stand, will you be listing it? Thanks for the video and all the best to you and Salem!
I love that teapot. I have never seen one with a built in porcelain strainer before. I would love for you to tell us about the different marks for blue willow and how to tell a rough estimate of the age. I have stuff from Staffordshire as well as Japan and Occupied Japan.
Scott, I just purchased a oak bureau at the Habitat ReStore yesterday for $120.00. With mirror. All original, even beveled glass. I thought of you! I just love this piece!!
I love going to the flea market with you....that second table had so many interesting items, I would have lost control! My first car was a red 1962 Beetle.
Hi Scott, can't wait to see your lamps, once you've worked your magic!! Love the tamoshanter shades, my old one was broken by a younger family member, you pay good money for an old replacement, wish we had your flea markets up here in the northwest!! The tree stand very cute, really want to see that restored, get er done, can't wait!! Great fun on your excursion, my only chance to go to a flea market, so, kudos, & thanks for taking us junkin!
I can't WAY to see how the lamps are goin to turned out Scott. Thanks for Sharing your videos whit us RUclips sister ❤🖒 xoxox stay safe and bless and strong and positive much love from me xoxox
Those Lionel trains at 10:15 were pre-WW2. The locomotive was in quite remarkable condition considering its age. Also, that $10 box of Blue Willow was quite a steal!
Yes indeed I love pre war Lionel. I have 2 sets that I cherish: my great uncle’s set from about 1933 and my father’s set that he got for Christmas of 1950. I set them both up at Christmas time!
Are you going to show us the lamps as you work on them? I hope so. You walked past some things I wanted to see. Dang, guess they just weren’t up your alley. Love the blue willow dishes. My first dishes are blue and white, and oddly I’m really not a blue person. But I love them to this day. They’re Blue Danube, purchased 1972. So much fun shopping with you anywhere you go. And, isn’t it time to give Salem a treat? Tell him I said he deserved one.
I had a milk glass lamp with the round thing on it but never knew what it was for before I saw you put one of those shades on a lamp. Unfortunately the kitty knocked it off and broke the base. I thought for sure you would buy the tea pot.
That was agreat fle market....Some nice stuff....How could you tell the purple glass Peanut jar was a reproduction? That vintage train set was very nice.....The green and white Anchor Pottery pitcher was a nice buy at $1........ You got some nice vintage lighting fixtures...... they should look nice fixed up.... thanks for sharing.....:)
I believe the glass cups and saucers you showed on the previous video are Turkish tea glasses and saucers. I have seen similar sets, and none of the cups have handles. Some sets are quite ornate.
Hello Scott, I really enjoy looking at the great finds, especially old glass pieces, but I have this huge problem. I have to hear commentary. It's really way to quit for me, the music helped a little bit, but I need noise. thanks for sharing.
I know you know what you're doing but after you restore the Christmas tree stand with the light bulbs ETC. I think it should just be left alone and not painted IT IS REALLY SOMETHING I'VE NEVER SEEN ONE LIKE IT THE GREEN ON IT IS JUST WONDERFUL AND ORIGINAL
You recently got a lamp that had ben transformed into something new and (to you) totally weird and non functional. You said you would be transforming it back into a lamp. But i would use it as is to hang multiple necklaces just as it is. Please let me know if you would sell it as is and for how much.
10:31 Two questions Scott, I can tell or assume that this is some sort of grooming kit but I can't tell what everything is. Looks like a butter knife in the top part. Just wondering if you could id the items. Also I must know the name of that song, it's fantastic ! Thanks!
Oh some of the items in the 1930's grooming set were nail files and other nail grooming tools etc. The tune is an old 1920's song called "I'm Calling on Phoebe Tonight". I love the tune as well.
Thanks Scott I really like visiting the flea market and am amazed by your vision of what was and could be again when you look at those abused lamp bits! The lamp shade you showed deserves a new home.
Thanks so much for taking us shopping. I'll be watching for more. More. More.
I remember my parents taking me to the Hawaiian Cottage for dinner. Oh what a treat. We lived in the Cherry Hill Apartments right up on Rt 38. Bluewillow reminds me of my childhood. Love those dishes. Nice lamp find!
Looking forward to seeing you transform those antique lamps!👍 That glass lamp shade is beautiful! Love when you take us along to the outside flea markets! Have a good week! 🇨🇦
It is so cool that you restore beautiful old things and give them a second chance.

Love the three items your going to restore, can't wait to see them finished, blue willow, a favorite 😊

Great video! I love the old music you put with the different items! So creative. Looking forward to seeing the lamps restored.
Thanks so much!
I would love love love to watch you restore all three pieces! I love watching you restore lamps! An electric tree stand? I want to really see that!
Nice lamps. Can’t wait to see the restorations.
Blue willow is so pretty. Love 💘. That lamp with shade
What a find on the blue and white dishes! It was fun to see what you saw and can't wait to see your lamps when they are done. tfs

That was almost as much fun reading this comment as watching Scott go through the flea market!
@@Queen_of_Hearts-Sharnell My goodness thanks.
Wow! Scott! I felt like I was at the flea market! It was so interesting and I loved it! You found some great things!
Glad you enjoyed!
I’m happy you found your lamps to restore. You always seem to find a treasure🤗💕. I’m sending sweet Salem lots of love and hugs from South Arkansas! 🥰
So many treasures! How fun!! 😊
I love the Christmas tree base and the height adjustable lamp.
I love your intro music. I find myself singing it at work. 😍🤭
You have got me checking out lamps 🔦
Very interesting 👌

I love the flea market. I love going myself, and I love going vicariously through others as well. I love the creepy baby doll. I think it's wonderful that you rescued those lamps to restore.
Awesome Christmas Tree stand and lights.
Scott, this was one of if not the best flea market videos you've done! Can't wait to see the Christmas tree stand after you fix it up. Give my love to handsome Salem!
Wow, thanks!
Amazing that you found the perfect lamp for that shade. It's a beautiful yellow. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
Lots of vintage! 😊
I felt like I was on a field trip. So interesting! I loved the green dresser/grooming set in its case.
That was amazing!

I collect Blue Willow. I fell in love with it when I first saw it on a soap opera called AS THE WORLD TURNS. I have a lot of it.
Me too
Superb Video! Love how you incorporated a little history ditty after each find! Love the lamps! Looking forward to seeing the transformation!
Thankyou Scott, very interesting. Love the Blue Willow crockery and would have loved to have had a close look at the other teacups you passed by. Especially the blue and gold crockery set at the start. Never seen anything like it. Female 55yrs. Overall very interesting variety.
So many interesting things I never see in Florida. Thank you for taking us with you.
I can’t wait to see your finished lamp. It’s exciting how you bring things back to life.
This was a fun place lots to see
Some nice items at the flea market.
LOVED your documentary on he Hawaiian Cottage. Bet they had a great pu pu platter!
I think so!
Great job.Cheers from Ontario Canada.

Thanks for taking us along Scot!
My first car was a 1964 VW bug. It cost $300.00! And I was thrilled to get it!
Love browsing through flea markets. Great finds!! 😊
Thank you for taking us with you today-was fun to see all the items you chose. Just wanted to ask, after you restore that neat Christmas tree stand, will you be listing it? Thanks for the video and all the best to you and Salem!
Every time I see a pile of glass doorknobs, I think of Aunt Clara on "Bewitched".
Aunt Clara was a sweetheart. Best witch of many.
I LOVE Bewitched! Uncle Arthur is my second favorite behind Endora :)
I love that teapot. I have never seen one with a built in porcelain strainer before.
I would love for you to tell us about the different marks for blue willow and how to tell a rough estimate of the age. I have stuff from Staffordshire as well as Japan and Occupied Japan.

Oh yeah Restore!!!!!!! It sounds fantastic!!!
I can see how nice those lamps will be and the christmas tree stand and the dishes nice. I really enjoyed this trip.
That's cool, I had a 74 bug too.
Love the Boston Terrier doorstops.
I had a 74 Super Bug. Loved it and wish my ex had not traded it in. Loved the chirping sound it made. It was gold and had a sun roof.
Oh! When I saw that Boston terrier door stop (?)--my grandparents had the same exact one!!
Teapot heaven!
The Hawaiian Cottage looks so fun. 🍹🌴

I liked that blue tea pot. Cool that it had a strainer. And that book about Pittsburgh, I bet it would be of interest to genealogists!
My mother used to sing a naughty ditty to the tune you played for the Hawaiian photos, lol!
Enjoyed!! Texas here

Right at the beginning I saw a wonderful metal lantern. I’m sure it would be too heavy to ship. But I loved it anyway.
I had a milk glass lamp with the round thing on it but never knew what it was for before I saw you put one of those shades on a lamp. Unfortunately the kitty knocked it off and broke the base. I thought for sure you would buy the tea pot.

The peanut jar was heavily preproduced in pink in the 80's and 90's. The glass is low quality and has a "greasy" feel to the surface.
Love the lamps!!
I believe the glass cups and saucers you showed on the previous video are Turkish tea glasses and saucers. I have seen similar sets, and none of the cups have handles. Some sets are quite ornate.
Someday, I will come from Montreal just to thrift with you!!!
Are you going to show us as you fix the look lamps?....please say yes 🤔
I sure will!
I just love going “Antiquing” with ya! That Blue Willow-did I see a soup bowl down in the right hand side of the box??🤔
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Hi Scott, love going along with you on these trips. How long does that flea market last into the fall/ winter ?
Hello Scott, I really enjoy looking at the great finds, especially old glass pieces, but I have this huge problem. I have to hear commentary. It's really way to quit for me, the music helped a little bit, but I need noise. thanks for sharing.
Did you buy that ladies vanity set in the case?
I did not. But I loved it.
I know you know what you're doing but after you restore the Christmas tree stand with the light bulbs ETC. I think it should just be left alone and not painted
IT IS REALLY SOMETHING I'VE NEVER SEEN ONE LIKE IT
THE GREEN ON IT IS JUST WONDERFUL
AND ORIGINAL
I was wondering if you grabbed the liquor caddy?
I did not. But if my mid century buddy was there he would have in a heartbeat.
Love the graphics on that red needle box- did you buy it?
No I did not but it was a nice box.
33 seconds and I'm still second.
Wow, there is a lot of junk there, you really have to pick , to find treasure
It's the hunt that makes it fun🙂
You recently got a lamp that had ben transformed into something new and (to you) totally weird and non functional. You said you would be transforming it back into a lamp.
But i would use it as is to hang multiple necklaces just as it is. Please let me know if you would sell it as is and for how much.
Oh I'm afraid I've already started the transformation back to a lamp. But thank you for your interest.
Remembering that cartoon where that Ragtime song kept being sung till it was annoying!😄

What a pity about the green glass shade
Aren't you keen on milk glass because its white and opaque?
I like opaque glass but milk just isn't my cup of tea.
@@oldcuriosityshop265 It reminds me of the dentists trays for their equipment. In Pollyana Agnes Moorhead had one by her bed for medicine
