My guy, I don't want to be negative or anything, just giving my 2 cents: at this point, just go ahead with the upgrade videos, I aint watching 40 mins of this at this point in time, it's been almost 2 weeks since these decks were all previewed, I'd rather see this either when they got previewed or have more bloomburrow brews/start with the Duskmourn upgrades already
Disagree, I love these impression videos. Too many channels out there simply jump into throwing out a half-baked upgrade video with some basic (and sometimes objectively bad) takes just to have their video out there as fast as possible. I’d rather understand a deck to its core mechanics and structure, which you can’t get from a 5-10 minute upgrade video.
I would also have to disagree. At least for me, the primary reason I watch these videos is more as a way to see the new cards get dissected for potential uses. A lot of other channels focus on doing upgrade guides, but I really can't think of another one that goes this in depth on new card discussions, especially when you also get a blind reaction from one of the participants. Do I wish that they came out with these videos sooner to the sets release? Definitely, but I know video production is difficult, and I don't want to put any more stress on them then they already have. I appreciate them for their niche in quite an overflowing market.
Nah, I have to disagree. I really enjoy the banter and exchange of opinions brought in these videos, is a nice round down of the most important things of the deck and works as a companion piece to full-list card-by-card videos.
Tbh in my opposing these videos come out way too late. I would expect a „first impression“ video to come out 1-2 days after the spoiler. This late, I would prefer your normal upgrade videos.
@@WestVirginger depends how active you are in the spoiler season. I already got a couple of games down with my upgraded version after spending several hours on scryfall 1,5 weeks ago and gotten all the upgrades ordered. It’s fine if it works for you, just giving my own opinion on it. :)
Another massive group slug piece in Duskmourn is Razorkin Needlehead. Any time an opponent draws a card, it deals them one damage, and its a red source if you want to go heavy into torbrand type effects. Zo-Zu is another must add. I like chucking in a phyrexian reclimation with how many creatures this deck runs. The rakdos beholder would be decent to add in this deck for more chaos at the table. Also, this deck can get rude with sanguine bond and exquisite blood with tutors for quick infinite dmg combos. Running bond for the combo is kinda lame especially with tutors, but exquisite blood is a great card for this deck.
"They blink in our general direction, take damage" 😂 keep up the great videos guys! I have this one on preorder and definitely interested in seeing how you adjust in the upgrades!
I was really hoping this deck would be more interesting with its group slug out of the box. i wanted more "i want to play a game" Saw type awful choices for the opponents. disappointed
I mean that’s great in theory, except when it doesn’t work. Take the new sadistic shell game for example, played it hoping my opponents would get rid of each other’s more troublesome stuff on board, instead they all cooperate and pick the same target which meant minimal stuff got removed. The closest you get to this is like the villainous choice stuff, which they did with the one dr who precon.
Really looking forward to this upgrade!!!! You guys made me want this deck with how much you talked it up!! Great job again!!
It’s a very fun deck!
Hey Grazzet,
You've made me really curious about Group Slug Abaddon the despoiler. Do you have the deck lists for that. Or is it the Precon upgrade?
Yeah, please do share!
sadistic shell game is one of the most fun cards ever printed for commander. The chaos injection to the table that it adds is so great.
I love the theme and i have it in joker sleeves just to be that dickhead at the table
I miss the necrobloom lol😅

You could idk, just not watch it lol
I think a first impression of them could be a single video but a quarter of the review for each

Let others rush to a half-baked upgrade video. I’d rather wait to get thoroughly vetted considerations like these.

Man what a rough time to post this
I just wanna hear Kap gushing over group slug all day

Please drop an upgrade list for this one asap bro! I was able to pick this bad boy up for 40 even!

seance is 100% a cut card in this deck, but i do agree that certain decks will love this card and it will probably be a staple.
Lord of pain with infect. 7 turn game
Assuming it makes it to 7 turns if you go that route with all the right stuff in hand lol.

I’m going to build it with villainous choices from dr who
You understand me so much. When I read "endless punishment" I don't think "draw a card whenever an opponent loses life"
@cosmicodyssey3382 I'm going Mardu with Malik as commander and stuffing the deck with lots of cards like Prisoner's Dilemma.
@@pascalsimioli6777 definitely look at some of the dr who stuff ensnared by the Mara is going to be good in it

Niiiice! This precon is awesome.
Whats your opinion on the recent bans?
I was pretty high on this one but saw it play a couple of times it did not do well. Would want to make sure it is a good deck for the price.
