The hospitality that I was shown by these young gentlemen was second to none. I will never forget the amazing time I spend with Karim, his friends & his lovely family.

Hope you enjoyed this one guys, pretty ludicrous adventures in Upper Egypt. It was 39 degrees celsius/102 degrees fahrenheit during these days, was some intense heat! Maybe it's what makes these guys so wild.

I went to Egypt 17 years ago this month, and it was wonderful. I've been trying to get back there ever since. As a female, I don't want to travel there alone and I can't convince any of my male friends that it's safe. It pisses me off. I'm in the US and if you thought the entire US was like what was portrayed in the news, no one would come here. But of course it's safe, you just avoid certain neighborhoods like all places. I thought the Egyptian people were the kindest I have ever met. The type where if you ask them for directions, they will insist on walking you to your destination so you don't get lost. In the US that would never happen. We will probably give you directions, but we're not taking you there.
I think it is completely safe to come here by yourself 😊😊 😎
As a swedish woman visiting the US, I have been to Nevada, Illinois, Georgia and California and people were at their friendliest in Georgia down to walking me to or at least near places I looked for, but all americans tend to be quite friendly all around. I think the least hospitable and shockingly sexist was Las Vegas. Everywhere else was awesome, friendly, welcoming and great. :)

Janice farag hey Janice, I am going to Egypt in a few months and i am not sure really sure about how to get a Visa, I was told that one can get a Visa for 30 days at the airport in Egypt and if u want to extend u have to go to the embassy and buy another visa, is that correct??

You are such a legend, I know I'm late but I'm very glad you enjoyed your stay in Egypt, many people disregard it because of the fake propaganda that Egypt is a dangerous Terrorist country or they just see it as the Pyramids of Gizah and nothing more. Also, fayoum is a very nice visit, the people there are very humble and nice but they may struggle with english, Wadii al rayan there is breath taking so are the waterfalls

I would love to go to Egypt again after watching your vlogs but I can't help but think it is a very different experience for a man than a woman.I have travelled widely in other parts of Africa but found Cairo in particular to be very hassly.Its such a shame because it is such an awesome country to visit but so many public spaces are so male dominated.
if you go to the fifth settlment in egypt or marina you're gonna see extremely beautiful stuff so next time check them out

Is it challenging to communicate with locals in English? And how much the orange juice did cost?
In the more common tourist places, Cairo, cities on the Red Sea, Luxor, Aswan etc. etc. English is not too hard to find. But if you go off the beaten track then it becomes a bit harder but I recommend buying a sim card for 10USD with calling, texts and 1.5GB of data. This way, if you really need it, then you can use google translate. Orange juice was 20-30cents... :D

They'll just be reaaaally nice to convince you to buy more. You would've stayed at that juice place for a while, drink after drink, if it weren't for your friends 😂. I'm Egyptian too, by the way, and I thank you very much for this vlog. We as Egyptians always welcome visitors, and it gives me pride to see you enjoying your stay.
