Thank you Chief Steve. He has a wealth of knowledge about the NYFD and the history behind the department. Needs to come back again. Thanks again as always guys, great show!

Even though Kevin gives Chief Steve a hard time and busts his chops, he is very proud of his older brother's accomplishments and 41 years on the job.
I Love Kevin !!!!!!! Thank you Chief , Learned a lot

Good show boys. A lot of good info whether on the job or not. Is that guy from UK done with his question yet..?
Yeah im done now 😂
ryan millar haha !! Just breakin balls ...well done my friend ...be safe over the Atlantic ..
A question for Chief Steve, As a former member of NYCEMS from 77-82 and a retired Fire Lieutenant from Florida I am curious where the FDNY EMS officers fit in with the fire side officers as to hierarchy and commands. When I was in EMS there was no smooth interaction between the agencies officers.
As a Fire Chief on scene I am in charge of their safety, but not an EMS operation. I defer to their expertise
Would love for you to get my Father on this. Served 68-96 will have plenty of stories He has 3 sons on the job now. All Lts
Chief needed a geratol and a glass of milk to get through the interview
I heard the term train wreck so I had to start checking stuff out
Great job , in the now
You were in this Job 😂
I would love to ride with Steve sometime. Does the department let Fireman do rides?
Did kevin start drinking at noon?
No,much earlier
So I know a lot of people ask why it’s not NYFD but honestly FDNY sounds and looks better for some reason to me. NYPD has a nice ring to it. PDNY sounds bad. But NYFD doesn’t sound or look as good as FDNY.
What chief rank is steve?
and is he retired or still active?
He is deputy chief and is active according to kev
@@qcbeast478 What company/division?
@@connorjames7370Division 14, now retired
is chief steve retired now ?
I wish my station had a dog
Just lost it for Chief Steve dogs not people are on the top of my list!
To my knowledge, Field Comm has fire officers but no FFs.. They got dispatchers manning that company.. Not sure if things have changed since
I always thought that they staffed it with light duty firefighters.
