  • Learn how the blessing of Moses is for the Aleph-Tav children of Israel... Those who recognize who the Aleph-Tav is!
V’Zot HaBerachah, (וְזֹאת הַבְּרָכָה‎) - is Hebrew for “and this is the blessing,” the first words in the parashah. It is the 54th and final weekly Torah portion in the annual cycle of Torah reading and the 11th and last in the Book of Deuteronomy. It covers Deuteronomy 33:1-34:12. The parashah sets out the farewell Blessing of Moses for the 12 Tribes of Israel and concludes with the death of Moses.

I was born again at 33 went to all the churches and learned much but there was something missing. I found you 5 days ago. And the first 3 minutes of listening I KNEW that this is the piece that will fill my void. I am not gullible nor easily swayed, But I Know the LORD'S WORDS when I hear them ! Thank you all.

I love the Torah and have been blessed to learn so much over the past few weeks from going through the 54 teachings of Torah. I was awoken a little while back but through my searching I took a little time to find my way to learning the Torah. God told me I needed to learn so I have been searching. Now I feel the joy of learning the Torah and have also been learning hebrew, mainly because of Israeli News Live, Steven Ben noon. I think I am from the tribe of Dan, because we were Vikings way back.

Thanks Rabbi coz I get to re-teach Torah in a much more clearer way and people say "wow, that makes so much sense... I always wondered why... the Bible says this..."

{ This is a very interesting subject as Yeshua knew where the Lost Tribes have migrated and multiplied in those days... such as sending his brother Ya'akov (James) to Spain (Hibernia named after the Hebrews) where the tribe of Gad were, and Thomas to India where there were descendants of the Tribe of Manasseh, some to Turkey, and some to the Black Sea area, others went all through Europe and later Paul even went Lud (London) where Hebrews were and encountered those from Zarah's line of Judah and these are just a few examples. ;)

Ibn Ezra explains that Simeon was omitted because Jacob had reprimanded him for the bloodshed at Shechem (Gen. 49:5) and because of the sin of his tribe in the terrible affair of Baal Peor. (see Numbers 25:3). Ramban also notes that Simeon was thus omitted because its population was small (Numbers decrease due to sin) and since Simeon's cities were within Judah's territory according to (Joshua 19:2) they were included in Judah’s blessing.

@@AssemblyofCalledOutBelievers I have watched so many of your videos that I must have gotten it from you but only remembered the analogy and not the source. I am learning so much from you and it resonates with a path that The Lord has put me on, I have been confused because so often he has closed doors that I thought was good but each time only results in my rejection. Often this is manifest by false accusations that I am helpless in correcting, only He can do this and I have to be content with it until He sees fit to make the truth manifest.

Deuteronomy 33: 3 read similarly in all versions "surely it is you who love the people; all the holy ones are in your hand. At your feet they all bow down, and from you receive instruction, the law that Moses gave us, the possession of the Assembly of Jacob." In the previous verse Moses says "the Lord came from Sinai and Don Dover them from Seir; he shown forth from Mount Paran. He came with myriads of holy ones from the south, from his Mountain slopes." Moses is declaring God to have been with the Israelites in the desert. He is praising God. He is thanking God, "surely it is you who love the people;" Moses is proclaiming that "all the holy ones are in your hand (the mighty hand of God.)" Moses confirms that "at your feet they all Bow Down." Angels do never bow down to man throughout the Bible. Angels do not bow down before Israelites or Saints or other holy ones from heaven. God gives his angels charge over man. The Lord Almighty God does not give man charge over his angels. Moses commenced God for the instruction placed in The Possession and hand of Jacob. The house of Jacob holds the Torah as its "possession." In Verse 5 Moses says, " He was King over Jeshurun..." Moses is again referring to the Lord Almighty. Moses's last words were Praises about God then blessings to the tribes. I disagree that these passages could substitute Israel for God so that angels are in the hands of the Israelites, and Angels would bow down to the feet of Israelites of whom I am also one that "surely it was" God Who Loved Us enough to send a savior to the sinful. Please remember, it didn't take much of a twist to the words of God to deceive Adam and Eve. Remember also, that you are held to a higher standard of accountability. May the Lord send you many sheep to safeguard.

I humbly thank you for your holy boldness dear sister! I understand your position and appreciate you testing all things as a good Berean as I realize that certain commentaries do not agree but then some others do and I thought I would offer another perspective from the Hebrew this year as it is many layers deep and I always try to take people a bit further into the holy realm. I can definitely understand both sides and try to be open minded to all viewpoints. Even within Judiasm there are differing views. First a couple translation issues should be cleared up from the original Hebrew. Your phrase, “surely it is you who love the people;" is actually אף חבב עמים in the Hebrew and should be translated "He truly loves the people" or "Yea, He loveth the peoples" as the Jewish Publication Society Bible quotes it from Moshe to the people of Israel, but it is not Moshe speaking to God as you wrote it. He goes on to say to Israel, "all holy ones in your hand” Secondly, your quote, “at your feet they all Bow Down" is not correct from the Hebrew as the Hebrew word is takah תָּכָה meaning gathered or encamped and correctly understood would represent the angels encamped with Israel at Sinai and would read והם תכו לרגלך "and they were gathered to your feet". In it entirety the verse from Deut. 33:3 would correctly read, אַף חֹבֵב עַמִּים, כָּל-קְדֹשָׁיו בְּיָדֶךָ; וְהֵם תֻּכּוּ לְרַגְלֶךָ, יִשָּׂא מִדַּבְּרֹתֶיך “Yea, He loves the peoples, all holy ones in your hand and they were gathered to your feet, he shall lift up from your words"... not to negate that all of us, Israel and angels alike were in God's hand and gathered to His feet at Sinai, but an amazing thought to meditate on when thinking of Moshe speaking to our forefathers about the angels being there with them!
All Hebrew speaking students of the Word seem to agree that the first mention of “the myriads of holy ones” (qodesh in Hebrew) in verse 2 refers to “holy angels from His right hand". Other views we consider, like Rashi’s, think that the second mention of "holy ones” (still qodesh in Hebrew) mentioned later in verse 3 when it says, “were in your hands for they were gathered to your feet” is simply referring to the Israelites who were gathered at the foot of Mount Sinai to receive the Torah although the context is still Moses speaking to Israel which some have difficulty understanding how Moshe can be referring to holy angels “in Israel’s hands and gathered to their feet”. I am simply offering another perspective that as verse 1 says Moses is speaking to the people of Israel, and because he is always referring to God in the third person throughout the blessing, the “your feet” can be interpreted in the Hebrew as still speaking to Israel with the angels there with them... “In your hands” often means “subjected to” as they were “gathered to their feet" from heaven at Sinai. Remember that Rabbi Shaul (Paul) even speaks of HaSatan being crushed under “our feet” in Romans 16:20 “The God of Peace will soon crush Satan under your feet” and he later says to those in Corinth, “Know ye not that we shall even judge angels?” (1Cor. 6: 3). The Targums of Onkelos and Jonathan interprets “and he came with myriads of holy ones” as holy angels, which is confirmed by the authorities of Stephen the protomartyr, and the Apostle Paul, who speak of the law as given by the disposition of angels, they being present, attending and assisting on that solemn occasion, ( Acts 7:57 ) ( Galatians 3:19 ) ( Hebrews 2:2 ) ; see ( Psalms 68:17 ) ; the appearance of those holy beings in such great numbers added to the grandeur and solemnity of the giving of the holy law to the people of Israel, as the attendance of the same at the coming of Messiah will add to the lustre and glory of it, ( Luke 9:26 ) ( 2 Thessalonians 1:7 2 Thessalonians 1:8 ); “from His right hand [went] a fiery law for them" the Israelites; Aben Ezra thinks the phrase, "His right hand", is in connection with the preceding clause; and the sense is, that fire came from the law, thousands of holy ones were at the right hand of God to surround Israel, as the horses of fire and chariots of fire surrounded Elisha; and the meaning of the last words, "a law for them", a law which stands or abides continually; and so the Septuagint version is, ``at his right hand angels with him.” One final text comes to mind which refers to angels desiring to look into the things revealed to us is 1 Peter 1:12, "Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ruach sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.” Hope this possibility will be received in peace and love... and maybe help expand the paradigm a bit. Blessings!

At 6: 50 you read the word 'yad' as plural as figurative Israel. Rather, the first 5 verses of Deuteronomy 33 are praises to the Lord. "Yad" is not designated as right hands, but instead left hand or broken hand or broad hand and the open hand meaning power. This refers to Messiah and Adoni. I believe the holy ones in his hand are the Saints and angels of the Heavenly Host and also Isreal who's possession is the law of Moses. I do not see Angels being in the hands of Israelites.

Thank you for your comment... this is a prophetic statement from Moshe moving the minds of the people from seeing the myriads of holy ones (angels) with Hashem on the mountain at His right hand in vs. 2 to verse 3 where he says, "He truly loves the peoples - all His holy ones (angels) are in your hand; sitting at your feet they receive your instruction, the Torah Moshe commanded us as an inheritance for the community of Ya'akov." This shows how special we are to receive the special "instructions" of God as a ketubah for His bride, from which even the angels learn of God's love!
