    Hi! I'm going to this year's grand prix solo, so watching your vlog was helpful to know what to expect. Maybe I'll see you there this year! Lol.

    Hello, did you use Kintetsu Limited Express for commuting between Nagoya and Suzuka? And when do you think we should leave the circuit after the race to catch last Hikari/Kodama to Tokyo? Thank you very much in advance.

    i'm going solo to. will be based in Osaka but plan to go direct to Tokyo after the race. Would that be convenient?

      I see nothing impossible with that. Just be patient when waiting to get on the local train to Nagoya, then hop into the Shinkansen to Tokyo. Good luck!

    Did you depart and arrive at the small Ino station I see on Google maps? If I go, I’ll be arriving at the track from Nagoya then after the race go to Osaka. I’m just worried about missing the train in the evening. I can’t tell how long the Ise Tetsudo and Kintetsu Limited Express trains run until.

    • @_natayou_
      @_natayou_  3 месяца назад

      Hello! Yes, we use the small Ino station. I think on normal days they don't even have a staff there so on race week they will open a booth full of staffs that will sell tickets and help you.
      In my case, the race was super delayed so in the end I missed my Shinkansen back to tokyo. The staff were kind enough to change my ticket to another train (probably because they know how long the queue in Ino takes), but personally I won't make a big, important schedule on the same day as the race.
      Depends on the train you take, it might take around 40mins to reach Nagoya from Suzuka Ino station.

    Great video! I'm going solo to the Japanese GP too and its also my first time. Do you recommend just walking from the station to the circuit?

    • @_natayou_
      @_natayou_  3 месяца назад

      Everyone was walking from the nearest station (Suzuka Circuit Ino Station) to the circuit. Wish you lots of fun there! I recommend going super early so you can at least walk around the circuit area and remember all the spots.

    hi! I will be going to the Japan GP in April. I wanted to know the taxi situation there because I have a flight to catch after the race. is it easy to get a taxi or do I have to pre book it?

    • @_natayou_
      @_natayou_  5 месяцев назад

      Hello! Please note that the circuit is literally located in out of nowhere, so I believe getting a taxi will be difficult. Nearest station is within walkable distance, but the train back to Nagoya will be very packed, usually you have to wait until next 5-7 trains. If it is still possible to change your schedule, I advise changing the flight to the next day... Wish you a nice race weekend!

    Totally newbie question, was there a team`s merch store that sells team uniforms etc?

    • @_natayou_
      @_natayou_  3 месяца назад

      A lot of them! Make sure you come early, though! I arrived before quali and all the cute lanyards+cute RedBull jacket were sold out :( Japanese people love Red Bull/Alpha Tauri/Aston Martin(not sure now because Seb left) so if your fav team was not listed, I think you're safe🤣

    I will try to go to the GP this year. Can anyone tell me about the Shinkansen, can it be full? DO I have to buy the Shinkansen ticket long time in advance? I am afraid for the return one to Tokyo after the race especially but hard to time correctly if red flags happen or long queue for the train back to Nagoya.

    • @_natayou_
      @_natayou_  3 месяца назад +1

      Hello! Please buy the ticket super early. Shinkansens do get full and even in the reserved car the seats were full for Nagoya. If you are a solo traveller, I think you're okay because you can fit in any empty seats but it will be more difficult trying to book seats with a group.
      I booked my Shinkansen back to Tokyo early, but because of the red flag I missed my train. The staff were kind enough to change my ticket to a later train.
      Usually when everything is fully booked, people will go into the non-reserved car, fully packed like a local train. Good luck!

    Hello. Thanks for the advice in your video. I will be landing in Tokyo from California USA, Saturday April 6th around 1430 hours (first time in Japan). And I purchased a 2024 GP ticket for Sundays April 7th race. It will be my first time in beautiful Japan but am becoming extremely intimidated by the transportation system, since I dont know the language. I will be traveling solo. I am considering reselling my ticket because all this is overwhelming to me. I dont want to resell the ticket. So I am asking for any advice that you would give me to attend this race. Any advice would be extremely helpful. Awesome video.

      Hey man! Japan is a metro city, I really urge you to take that step and not miss out on the opportunity since you’ve already purchased the ticket. I’m sure you’ll figure out a way and from what I heard the people there are very helpful and accommodating. Just plan your movements better and you’ll be fine.
      Even I’m planning on attending the GP flying from Sydney. So I’m very exited too, but still haven’t bought a a ticket.

      Hello! I don't know if you can still change your ticket but usually Suzuka tickets have practice session+quali+race included. If you can attend from Thursday, it will be max profit!
      Since I am an anxious solo traveller, I tend to arrive early for any events. If I were you, I would go straight to Nagoya after landing in Tokyo, sleep a night there, and wake up super early to go to Suzuka Ino station. Good luck for your first Japan trip!
