You 2 are a hoot! Lovin’ all the fun y’all are having making it all work! I’ve got a 2020 Rogue too! I’m still in the early learning all I can stage. Thanks so much for sharing the adventure within us…

Thank you so much! we want to travel but are balling on a budget, and were planning on staying in my 2018 Nissan Rogue. This was so perfect! I love that you also included meal prep.

I sleep in my SUV alone and I'm fine but 2 people breathing into that small gap would generate a lot of carbon dioxide in that space. In addition, CO2 is heavier than oxygen. If you're a back sleeper and the SUV isn't getting enough outside ventilation, you would have been breathing in a lot less oxygen than your body is use to. I'm guessing you woke up because you literally weren't taking in enough oxygen to be ok. Waking up like that had to be unsettling but your body gets an A+ for doing it's main job of keeping you alive

you guys are fun. i want to see more. if the back seats are still in the car, taking them out will give you more space. Claustrophobia is a type of panic attack and it is no joke. Hang in there.

Have you considered a hatchback tent? I get claustrophobic, too.

That's honestly a genius idea! We have a regular tent that we love using, but we might need to look into a hatchback. Thank you for the suggestion!

Do you use a packing list when packing?

Yes I make a big list beforehand!

I have my camping list in the computer
Because of the equipment I take it is a few pages
When the item reaches the back door, it gets a tick on the list
When it gets into the car, a stroke goes through the tick
Spare car keys permanently around my neck when on a camping trip along with a spare memory for the camera (this is in addition to what is in the camera backpack)
      And a whistle
Notes stuck to the front door reminding me to turn off all the electricity
