I think people built up this image in their mind that it would be a hyper, but most people who know about RMCs outside of Iron Gwazi and Steel Vengeance knew what to expect and got it.
There's certain coaster fans that will never be happy... let them stay sour. Anyone who didn't smoke coaster-crack, knew what to expect, and that's what we're getting.
I feel like people came in with high expectations. The ride is not going to be bad in any way, and that’s fine. It wasn’t built to be a record breaker or airtime machines like SteVe or Gwazi. I think it’ll be a good coaster, just not what people expected
I'm just happy to see Hersheypark get the one type of coaster that was an obvious hole in their collection... and also the second I-Box coaster in the whole Northeast. The size does not bother me at all. The only RMC I've ridden is Wicked Cyclone at Six Flags New England, which immediately became my favorite coaster in the world and has a 109-foot lift--actually slightly *shorter* than the woodie it was based on. With Wicked Cyclone, the smaller size does not prevent it from having pacing that feels utterly relentless, and in fact I suspect it helps. My guess about RMC Wildcat was that it was going to be something highly reminiscent of Wicked Cyclone in stats. It's actually taller than that, using the steel truss lift that became an RMC mainstay after they built Wicked Cyclone. That's really cool. I never thought a hyper-hybrid, or a launch, or anything crazy like that was actually in the cards, given the existing coaster they were using and the plot of land they had to work in, so there was no disappointment there. Hersheypark already has two hypers, and they've never aimed to be the park that breaks all the records like Cedar Point--they're about quality of experience. This was exactly what they needed.
I don't know if I'd say Arie Force One's Raven Truss Dive is a new element. Maybe RMCs first for an I-box, but the element is just a dive loop and they've done that element on all the Raptor Track coasters and Six Flag Great America's Goliath which is Topper Track. I think it will be a really good ride, but in true Hersheypark fashion, I don't think it will be a best of its kind coaster.
This did not disappoint, it looks really fun and I’m excited to ride it! This ride is focused more on laterals than airtime, just one thing I wanted to mention.
It looks amazing in my opinion. It’s very well rounded and not focused on one sensation. I do agree with you on the inversions, it would be nice to have some variation.
It really depends if there ride operators are fast enough for 3 trains knowing Hershey there operations suck especially on candy which the way candy is run it’s only worth running two trains to where I think Hershey is doing what Busch did with iron Gwazi which that ride has 3 trains but the 3rd one is in storage and a backup train in case if one of its trains go down

It met my expectations. Didn’t exceed them nor did it disappoint me. Another exceptional coaster by RMC.

This is what happens when people overhype a ride. They get disappointed. People just expected too much out of Hershey park.
