I didn’t like when the moms got mad that maddie was homeschooled and she was having more private because of it, it’s not a problem that their kids wanted to stay in school but they can’t get mad that Maddie was improving even more because she spent more time dancing, if they wanted to do the same they could of.

Being educated at home during a pandemic and being homeschooled are very different! I don't blame you for feeling cooped up :) I was homeschooled but we went a lot of places and to many activities, including ones that were at a school... It's really hard to do those sorts of activities now and if you can they have restrictions :/
I'm 25 and I really feel quite sorry for young people (such as yourself) that are missing out on face-to-face interactions at school, events and extracurriculars.. it is not fair to young people AT ALL who have been forced to attend school virtually. Other countries that had stricter lockdowns than the US by far didn't even force virtual schooling NEARLY as long as some school districts in the United States (not all though) because they know that kids and teens overwhelmingly aren't the ones being hospitalized and passing away. The main ones that are responsible for virtual learning being forced for so long in some school districts are teachers' unions that think a few hysterical, irrational teachers are more important than many more students that are still developing and need certain experiences to become well-rounded humans. The handful of teachers that are irrationally afraid of being around their own students should either request *reasonable* accommodations (teaching *their* classes virtually) or find a new job. Enough is enough. I am not against a week or two of virtual learning after the holidays during the winter because people had been traveling during Christmastime, but dragging it out for MONTHS afterwards is complete BS. Use virtual learning sparingly during severe winter surges, but stop closing school down solely because people were temporarily in a room with someone who tested positive-- especially because students WEAR MASKS already and if those students have no symptoms and are NOT testing positive. It's completely ridiculous.

Maddie has been in West Side Story (2021) and has either a show/movie on HBO max coming out (2022). I would say besides being “semi famous” and wildly successful with her collabs and social media, she’s doing great!! Her drive is what has drove her this far and she always knew she would being doing this so it’s great to see how committed she was from the beginning!!
It’s her passion, Melissa saw the opportunity that her kids could achieve way more in the entertainment industry but doing 8 hours of school a day was possibly holding them back, they can interact socially at dance class, competitions or conventions that they attend so they aren’t lacking socially. A lot of children who do sports etc and see a great future with it homeschool, they are still learning and could go to college or university even though they did homeschooling during primary (in the us i’m guessing that’s middle school).
