@@Guney1886 sure the spanish and dutch media are bias towards there drivers i mean that pretty normal but they are not promoted by F1TV which is promoted as the international broadcast not just UK so when you have one of your commentator making conspiracy theories that have no basis in reality that Hannah Schmitz has given orders to the sister team to crash the car live on air yeah that just not feels right
Max didn't say 'I'm a 3x champion', he said 'I have 10 seasons in F1, I think I know what I'm doing'' 🤔 in the FiA Press Conference. Biased press spread this quote. Then he later said 'I'm a 3x champion', but not related to Damon Hill's comments. The way it was headlined makes believe that Max was dissing Hill, that has 1 WDC. Please get your FACTS right Kym.
absolutely this is how fires are flamed. Mis-quotations and stories, I heard that interview and actually thought KI was talking about another interview until I read the comments - glad you straightened that out, unlike the press
Depends to what interview you refer but he gave an interview for Dutch television and was asked what he thought of the remarks by Damon Hill. In that interview he indeed said 'I'm a 3x world champion, I know what I'm doing' ..... I'm just saying....
I'm always trying to like Damon Hill due to his legacy as a driver but every single time he makes some kind of snarky remark it proves to me that it's impossible.
I’m English and can definitely say from my view. Our media is biased. Whenever there is a title challenge involving a British driver our media such as sky will always back the British driver The problem with every media outlet is that they are always gunning for a story.
You are aware F1, Sky F1, most of the teams and a substantial amount of the drivers in the past and present are British. If you think British bias won't exist you're outright delusional.
I can tell you as a Dutch guy it is about the same (little less I think but I am biased) over here but our media has a smaller reach ofc because of language. And more reach gives more responsibility for not making a villain out of a driver.
As a person that lived in the Uk for 26 yrs . I Can wholeheartedly tell you the British 🇬🇧 media is biased . They favour their own . In their eyes their drivers can do no wrong . If Max are not allowed to swear then nobody can . They jealous of Max and to be honest it’s clear they discriminate against him and that includes the FIA .
As a person living in the Nederlands,i can "wholeheartedly" tell ,Dutch are far away more biased. They just hate hamilton in whatever he says or does. They will find away to bash on him.And of course,Max can never be wrong!!Is desperating to hear them.Is like, for real,anti-patriotic to say something negative about Max in public.
All media is biased towards their nationality, the question is why people whining about it? Sky is bristish they can’t be biased toward British athletes?
British media isn't biased. You can tell from the time Sky Sports literally made a commercial a couple of years ago with footage of Verstappen crashing. Not biased at all. 😂🤦
They say that when it comes to Max they give credit where credit is due, but what they don't say is that when it comes to the British drivers they often give credit where it isn't due. That's the difference.
they give credit where credit is due except if a driver drives a outstanding race from 17 - 1 in the rain with no drs and loads of fastest laps what more would he need to do to get some of that credit ? drive a lando of the road ? cause it sure seamed that in that case they where on his ass but when he out preforms him they are now where to be seen lol.
1:45 biased - I am British, and they are absolutely biased - they even compare him to a British cartoon character- It's insane, enough to stop you from watching if you are not British.
A Brit Steward and Pundit (failed F1 driver to) who always tries to pile issues on Max. He also admitted he does not like Max. How can he be not biased.
So much about that: >>> Verstappen glanced around the room. >>> "I have a quick question here," he said. "I mean, I appreciate all of you being here, but I don't see any British press!" >>> Laughing he added: "[Do] They have to run to the airport, or they don't know where the press conference is?
Are you saying that these drivers are doing nothing that would warrant some criticism? Don’t be daft. All those drivers you mentioned have some sort of controversial action on track that warranted some heat.
They also criticized Senna for "aggressive driving". And still, here we are... They really can't accept the fact that a non British driver is better than their driver.
Calling the (part of) British media biased is the understatement of the year. They can't stand Max Verstappen and will always be looking for the smallest issue and linger on for month. Asking a biased person if they are biased can only result in one answer: "Of course not". The reason I think Hill reacts like this is because of the problem he had with Schumacher. I can't recall the year, but Hill and Schumacher were neck on neck in the last race to the F1 championship as the incident occurred that cost Hill his F1 championship. Schumacher was ahead of Hill and if that did not change at the end of the race, Schumacher would be F1 champion that year. Hill was driving a few seconds behind Schumacher as Schumacher missed a corner, went off track and damaged his car. As Hill approached that corner, Schumacher drove back on the track and as they were side by side in the next Corner, Schumacher new he was toast, so Schumacher drove into Hill's frontwheel suspension, damaging Hills car. Schumacher had to stop his car on the side of the track and close-up video showed Schumacher's body language, he thought his trick did not work and he lost the race AND the Championship. Hill kept driving with his damaged car but was called in the pits. Conclusion, Hill had to stop the race. Schumacher heard about the withdrawal of Hill and video images showed he was over the moon, the trick DID pay off and dirty racing payed him with another title. End result, Hill lost the championship as the stewards at that time were to coward to disqualify Schumacher and no rulling existed at that time. I still recall this as I was Hill fan at that time. Same with Senna, Prost and Hamilton. Now Max is showing his elbows, nothing new, a champion must be a champion, that's how they are.
Yep, Australia - Adelaide 1994, it was a black page of F1 with losing Senna. What was worse, Hill thought to carry on Senna's legacy 'If you not going for the gap...' at the British GP and at Monza by divebombing MSC in a gap that never existed. Hill's WDC was due to Williams dominant car of 1996 and was almost outscored by then rookie Jacques Villeneuve. Hill became too cocky for the contract for 1997 season and good old Frankie was just as ruthless as Helmut Marko and fired him , WDC or not. Serves him right.
Williams didn't protest the crash so there was jot steward intervention. Hill Is obviously still salty and since shumi is Max's "uncle" he defs hates him . On top of destroying this British "goat" and destroying other British drivers with fatser cars than him .
Max saved F1 from boredom and I will always love him for that, because I am watching formula 1 again. The British press is biased towards British drivers as well, they might not be against Max, but will always favour British drivers over outsiders, we all saw that when it was Max vs Hamilton. The British press isn't the problem, it's the British pundits within F1 and FIA like Herbert and he showed it in the media and there are to many. I don't consider ex F1 drivers like Herbert and Damon Hill press and they can say whatever they want, but not if they work for FIA or F1.
yeah i quit watching due to the Hamilton Era , Max revitalized the sport, this season has been one of the best and most exciting yet, with just not the same people on the podium every race.
Every country has a bias towards their driver. The problem lies with Sky Sports being the face of the Western World F1 and the British bias shows through with the presenters. I have to mute the races and listen via Sirius radio (still British but not as bad). I hope Max wins the WDC by a point because of a non-British driver fastest lap who finished 20th.
> The British press is biased towards British drivers as well, they might not be against Max, but will always favour British drivers over outsiders And would you not expect the Dutch press to favour Dutch drivers over outsiders? What's your point?
The british media who made a christmas commercial that showed Max crashing in Silverstone, he was in the hospital and had vision problems for months after. But hey Merry Christmas.
A thief never says he/she is a thief, that's the thing with British press!!! They're rotten bias to the core, the sooner F1 gets rid of many British personalities, the fairer it'll be for other drivers.
Go check WHERE does Dutch press EVER praised Hamilton??I recomend you to hear Tom Coronel and his points about the british driver.Than come here and DELETE your BIAS coment.
@@AABBZZize The Dutch media have praised Hamilton like it was all about him and not the mighty Mercedes for 8 years. When it was a boring victory in the far superior car again he was always "flawless" despite errors that just didn't prevent him winning for example. @@AABBZZize Credibility to whom? It's British bias to act like Hamilton was entitled to a finish under SC to be safely made champion. No mention of how Hamilton didn't defend well in the last lap, had wasted his pit window being stuck behind a much slower Perez, and how Masi should have gotten the backmarkers out of the way much earlier. Not to mention how everybody had agreed on trying to prevent finishes under SC. There were irregularities to be criticized but they were rather minor and didn't really effect the race where the frontrunners were concerned, because when everything had been done right since the crash, there would also have been a lap of racing.
Brit Media not biased??? Gimme a break! Every time any McLarens, Lando, Russell and Hamilton get into lead, Sky F1 commentators just shoot out of roof. Most of interviews they do on sidelines are most of the time either British drivers or British manufacturers. Even the celebrities they look out for are Brits. Totally Not Biased 😂

And it's also easy to judge without knowing what really happened back then, not saying Jos was in the right, but stress can be a huge factor and women can be vicious as well trying to make men flip when they're angry. (not saying this happened or but it could considered) So as far as being a racer, and mannerisms with supporting personnel it seems Jos was much more open, interested and friendly.
If the Brits arent bias, can you explain why no british press showed up at the press conf after the race? Max did a drive of the century and Alpine deserve credit for their drive dont they? But oh noes, no brit on the podium huh. Bias as F...
1:55 Being biased and admitting to being biased are two different things... It is nothing new that top British drivers are placed on a pedestal, and top foreign drivers are being put in a bad light by the British media (especially when they are racing Brits). This is problematic considering the influence Brits have on all aspects of F1.
I always get the sence that hill treats Max unfair. I think it's old Hurt from Senna and Max reminds him of Senna. Maybe lashing out at Max feels like payback.
@@soundscape26 Same. I'm Dutch, but stay away from Dutch or British broadcasts when possible. Usually watching the sessions in German and switch to English just for the interviews. German interviews are the absolute worst because it's just a German dude talking over the actual interview.
Verstappen does know what he's doing and you can argue (part of) the F1 media doesn't. I'm watching F1 for about 5 decades and have seen many of the top drivers get a penalty for breaking "the rules", where they knew they would get that penalty but by doing so also gained an advantage. Just by harming the position of their opponent in the race and/or the general classification. Especially when they didn't have the car to get ahead that particular race. Verstappen did just that and managed, by his actions, to widen the gap between the Ferrari's at the front and Norris. I don't get when so called F1 pundits start to act as if this isn't normal. It is. If it wasn't. it would have never made the rule book. If these same people would commentate another sport, like football for example, in the same way, they wouldn't have enough time to go over every incident where a player commits a foul, with that disadvantages their opponent, and get a yellow card for it. A time penalty in F1 is nothing more than a yellow card in football. And since penalties are in the rule book, smart drivers now that and use it to their advantage. We've seen Senna do it, Schumacher pushed it even further, Alonso applies it, and yes, Hamilton and many others in F1 history too. The (British) media stupidity to then yell fire in a crowd and ask for different penalties now when Verstappen does the same is not asking for the stewards to apply the rule book but for them changing the rules during a match.
How disrespectful was Damon Hill saying “the wrong guy is on pole” ? This is why the whole world hates Sky F1 commentary and they’re always accused (rightly so) of British bias… it was a disgusting comment.
@ Lucky! Here in Australia we unfortunately get the Sky F1 feed. The only decent one is Karun, the rest I could do without. They should get Coulthard, Karun, and Mark Webber to commentate instead…. Kravitz, Crofty and Brundle are absolutely woeful.
Not only British media, sky commentators or f1 commentators will get Josh up if they are beaten by Lando or Russel. The way the F1 commentators praise Lando or Russel or Louis is not even half of tht they praise Max.. the biased sky media or F1 commentators is really true..
I agreed with you bro, David Croft completely biased towards british, his live commentatory always favor lando, Russell & Lewis like back in 2018 &2019 he always blam Sebastian in every incident.
It is not only they are biased! The main issue is they manipulate formula 1, which per sure more than one time have affected the championship! Hat's off to Max and a couple of other drivers that at least few times say what they think!
British bias is so rife it’s ruining F1! Stewards, reporters, etc! North American’s are turned off by British drivers due British bias and beginning to tune out F1. Did you note the boos Lando received? The Spanish drivers, Max, and Checo are treated terribly by British commentators, journalists and especially the stewards.

Damon Hill in the mid 90's used to Crash into Michael Schumacher ALL THE TIME and take them both out of the race. But the Brits only remember Adelaide 94 and Jerez 97. They don't remember the times Hill took Michael out, or when David Coulthard Brake tested Michael in 1998 Spa, which he later admitted to doing in 2003. Or Lewis Hamilton crashing people out, or pushing them out like he loved to do still a couple years ago when ever Perez tried to overtake him on the outside, Lewis just pushed him out and was never penalized for it. The best one was Maldonado getting Penalty when Lewis drove into him at Spa. Maldonado was passing Lewis on the right side of the track after T1, Lewis drives Straight into Maldonados car and Maldonado gets a penalty. All forgotten by the Corrupt Bias British Media.

Not only the British press, print & video, is biased towards Max. What is worse that British stewards, did I say Brundle ?, are publicly stating their bias against Max. Isn't Brundle associated with British betting sites and getting ££ for his public opinion and thus potentially influencing the betting odds?
If you look a how the UK press treats football coaches when they lose 3 games in a row. That will give you a answer on how hard they ride for UK drivers in F1
Way before 2021, just that in 2021 it has gone all out against him....I used to HATE Max before because I was basically brainwashed into believe he was horrible for the sport somehow. Until, thanks to the internet, I started to see his livestreams and other interviews and noticed how he actually was such a good lad, he couldn't be all that monster they painted him to be right? Then I started to notice during the broadcasts all the little ways they try to downplay everything he does, and overemphasize everything Brit drivers, do. Top straight speed for Max? Look at how fast that CAR is! Top straight speed for Hamilton? Wow, he got such a good traction out of the final corner.
As a dutchie I can confirm that the Dutch media is incredibly biased towards Max, even saying that the penalties weren't fair to Max, which is delusional. But I do think the British media can be biased (at times!), not always.
@@hopanogaalright then show me the Hindi feed in India. Not every country has a broadcast in its own language and sky should try to be more cognisant of that situation.
Mhaw...I always watch Race Cafe (said to be incredibly biased, but I think they have gotten better) and they were all in agreement a penalty needed to be given to Max. The number of seconds was only up for debate.
someone threw up on hamilton with senna clothes and flags, the man has to make a fool of himself to be noticed. Hamilton was not so special that he was compared to Senna
British bias is a real thing... We on the other side of the television see and experience it even in their coverage. The way they speak of non British drivers is clear to see even when it comes to criticism. But I guess they own the media. This si why I subscribed for f1 tv but it is quickly becoming another British media mouth piece.
Yeah, he's doing exactly what Schumacher did to Hill, and was later DQ'd from 1997 season for, stripped of all his champsionship points, when doing it again against Villeneuve. We're seeing FIAs continued spineless ineptitude on full display once again, as we have for decades, right back to Prost vs Senna days and before, FIA always waiting till the shyte hits the fan before they do anything, despite all the earlier warning signs which they should be reacting to long before things go to far.
Sky F1 ran a Merry Christmas ad of Max Verstappen crashing at the British GP in 2021. I have watched F1 races in other countries with local tv presenters and the British media (Sky/BBC) is extremely biased.
That is what a lot of people forget. Real champions do everything in their power to win. Indeed Shumi and also Senna for example so it just proofs that people will remember the wins. The stewards are there to say this is enough and that is what they did.
Max and others are totally correct, the British media are blatantly biased towards the British drivers. This is especially evident with Sky Sport (England). However, to be fair, all media show bias towards drivers from their own countries.
it shouldn't be like "okay dutch media are biased towards his driver so we are" in case of britrish medias bro. dutch media has small audience from their country while everyone around the world watches british media. so why be biased when ur audience is bigger and from evrywhere around the world
I think the perception that our British media is unbiased may stem from the fact they will criticize British drivers, however they are definitely biased when it comes to a non-British driver against one of our own. Max is a fantastic driver getting the absolute most out of a car that is the 3rd or 4th fastest on the grid which also means he has to race hard. He stepped over the line in Mexico and got penalties for it & the media are obv trying to keep this in the heaadlines to build up this Lando v Max fight. Fingers crossed that Merc can get their cars working this weekend. Come on LH!!
Only the British press seem to be bothered by this Why tho ?? Max just asked where they were maybe he was missing someone from the race or auto sport or bbc ? But honestly why didn’t they show up ?
I 100% agree with Max regarding the British media and their bias. Here in the US we're stuck watching sky sports on ESPN and numerous times I've heard bias comments from their mouths. I think the top of the list is that ass wad Ted Kravitz. And while I'm at it, who the hell asked for Danica Patrick? Why do we have to hear from her?
The British bias is true in my opinion. Max is a true champion and deserves to be treated as such. The sport needs a fierce competitor like this. Most the drivers these days don’t have much personality seems like they’re all corporate people pleasers
Max wants to race. He is not a fan of the externals. He does not appear to care what people think because there are only a handful of people that can claim to do what he has done.
Sky Sports F1 always praises Max. Martin Brundle is notorious for this and that is ok. He praised him in Austin for his masterclass in defensive driving. I know some of you "fans" are too slow to even focus on the commentary. However, when he crosses the line which he usually tends to do. You cant expect hin to be applauded and unfortunately for him he tends to go up against the best of Britain e.g. Lewis, Lando and George. Yes every country will be patriotic about their fellow country man/woman. If he races cleanly he wont be criticised but he time and time again continues to adopt the "back off or we crash" attitude to wheel to wheel racing and that leads to criticism. The steering wheel and how he goes racing are all in his hands not the so called "British bias"
Of course, he has to praise Max for winning races when Max crosses the line, that's his job. It would be too obvious if Brundle and the other Brits never praised Max. The main allegation is not that the British media never praise Max. The allegation is that when they do criticize him, they do overdo it; that they criticize him a lot more and for longer than media from other countries. Okay, buddy, some "fans" are too slow, and you are the smartest, if that makes you feel better.
@@AllKings Typical, Verstappen fan. I don't know how you missed it when I said it or when the race was on but he didn't win in Austin but he was praised for his defensive driving skills against Lando and Sky pundits were praising him about that..there is also a famous commentary of Martin Brundle praising him about his 2016 Brazil drive."the boy goes and find grip anywhere" or something like that. He didn't win that either. So they don't only praise him when he wins. Slow Loris! There is no such thing as over criticising. That's their job, when Lewis had a horrible year in 2011 he was criticised for that or when he would jet set around the world and come to a race. He was criticised for that. Maybe you were not watching then but that's what they do.
@MojoMachin3 I never said that they praise him ONLY when he wins. Someone doesn't know how to read. And you're a typical nincompoop, assuming that anyone who expresses an opinion that's not in line with the British media is a Verstappen fan. Your bigotry towards Max fans is fucking hilarious, I'm not even a Max fan. I already explained what the main allegation is - but I'll explain again because you seem to be struggling with reading comprehension. The allegation is that the British media criticize Max more and for longer than any other country's media. Do you get it, or should I dumb it down? It's funny how you hang on to my one point about praising whenever someone does well (including but not limited to winning) being the commentator's job, but completely ignore what I explained as the main allegation. 🤡🤡
Kym, did you expect that when you asked british media if they were biased against Max they will be like "of course we are biased, we hate him" ? cmon now, they are biased AF, but they will never tell you that XD
The problem with egoistic Max is that he doesn't say sorry or does not know how to say it. Charles immediately apologizing after the cuss word was a sign of man without Ego.
Lmao Max 'Lil bro'ed Damon with that 3 time world champion comment. Reminds me of Alonso confronting Herbert Edit - Oh wait, 0 time WDC winning F1 driver Jhonny Herbert also has shit to say this time
The only media that are biased against Max, is the Sky F1 team, the broadcast of the British GP was pathetic and focused too much on Lewis, George and Lando.
Maybe because George, lewis and lando was fighting for the win while max was far behind, u have to remember that red bull was nowhere in this race until the last pitstop
Home drivers always get a bit more coverage than usual, even more when you have all 3 with a chance to win the race. I also saw more of Perez in Mexico than usual.
I agree that all rules should apply on everybody, but its very rare that Charles swears or probably his first ever and he apologised. But with Max he swears while looking straight to the journalist eyes and keeps a straight face with no apology whatsoever. We can make a video that includes Max swearing throughout the years😅
So if you say sorry then its ok? Also be aware that its perfectly fine in many countries to swear on tv and your writing it like Max was saying it to the journalist but he was actually talking about his car so I don't see alot of difference with Charles.
Then tell me why Perez didn't apply for the rule? Or is the F word worst than calling Lawson an idiot over the radio (and not even in the heat of the moment)
max swore in a whinging session on a thursday presser. charles was a slip of the tongue post race straight from podiums as he was describing his reaction to almost binning it into the pit straight wall. charles also pulled himself up straight away. max never apologised and continued to sulk it up all weekend thereafter.
Jos Verstappen: "Is there a conflict of interest?" ... Verstappen Sr went on to add that "there were a few stewards present who don't like him anyway". ... The stewards panel in Mexico City comprised former F1 driver Johnny Herbert; experienced motorsports executive and official Tim Mayer, who is also the son of former McLaren team principal Teddy; lawyer Loïc Bacquelaine, and experienced Mexican official Alfonso Oros Trigueros ... Verstappen Sr added: "The FIA should take a good look at the composition of the stewards, who they put there and whether there is any appearance of a conflict of interest. For example, former drivers who have more sympathy for certain drivers or riders."
Max Verstappen certainly knows exactly what he's doing. I think Max is going to do what he has to do to preserve his lead in the championship. That includes driving in questionable ways that others object to. I'm not sure points on his race license will stop him. If it's the last race, and Max is under real threat to lose, he'll crash Norris out of the race to win (even if it costs Max points by crashing out too). I think this was clearly proven by his driving in Mexico.
@@sailyui Maybe, but Bernie isn't running F1/FIA anymore. In any case, time will tell. The season is quickly coming to an end with only a little over a month left in the season.
@@AllKings I agree, he IS going to race hard, but Max knows the car is crap. The pace is nowhere near McLaren and Farrari atm, and he knows this all too well. It's because he knows this that if he gets an opportunity he will do whatever he can to hinder Lando's race to try and limit the amount of points he gets. It's all Max has as a defense. The alernative is to ride the race out like Perez, only no THAT far back.
@InterestedAmerican nah, I don't think he will purposefully hinder Lando's race. I'm sure he will go over the limit to keep himself in front. But I don't think he'll try to ruin Lando's race. People were saying the same thing in Saudi Arabian GP 2021 when it seemed like Max brake checked Lewis. But it turned out that was not the case, as per stewards' investigation. I think Max does want to stay ahead desperately, but intentionally harming someone is evil, and I don't think he'll go to that extent.
Dutch media is positive towards any driver but favors Max over any other driver, for obvious reasons. Their only audience are Dutch people though. British media will never admit it but its very obvious they don't like Max. Any compliment towards Max always ends in a but.
The difference is that the Dutch media is not heard worldwide, Sky Sports is. Sky Sports is broadcasted worldwide and basically watched by most F1 fans so they HAVE TO be neutral and unbiased. Montoya spoke about this in a recent interview defending Max when people said this about Dutch media. It's common sense.
The British media are so biassed. Ferrari had a 1 . 2 finish and all the British media headlines ware about Lando . I swear I was out of the country and when i looked at British media online quickly and i honestly taught Lando had won it... 😢😢😢😢😢😢
There is no question about it! Of course, the British media is biased! I hear it every race week. If it wasn't for those pre and post race shows, I would unsuscribe from the sky f1... Life is unfair, sometimes 😂
Oh definitely they are biased. He said he is in F1 for 10 years and knows what he is doing. That him saying he's a 3 time champion isn't related to that.
No one has issue with biased media. But everyone has issue when you're saying you're not when it's clear as day that you are. So if Dutch media is biased towards Max, it's normal that British media is biased towards lando, russ, lewis... Lying that you're not is the reason people laugh at them. We all know what you're doing. If you continue to lie that you're not biased, you're trying to place yourself morally above other "biased" people and forcing everyone to take your opinion as neutral and fair. While it's not. Non biased opinion in this Lando vs Max is opinion of Italian media. While if Leclerc and Max are in battle, than UK media can be non-biased. Just admit the truth and we're good. Everyone sees it, everyone knows it, it's ridiculous.
He’s too arrogant!! Look at his reputation!!! Out in front he has no competition!! When he’s got competition he runs them off the track! Bullying at the highest level!!
British media has very bad standards. Also outside F1. I once was on a flight from LCY to AMS. There was an incident reported on AMS. At some point it seemed to be a hijack. It took hours before we had clarity and while I was bored at LCY waiting for the flight to get the ok to go to AMS, I was reading British media. They where reporting somebody was arrested with a knife! Later it turned out that the pilot was showing a student pilot how to activate hijack with a code. But he didn't realized it would send the signal without any confirmation. So false alarm but British press was just making up a story to keep viewers/readers entertained. But yes. Dutch media is also biased but not in the same way. They've always been very active appraising Hamilton for example elabd they have activly been pushing the public to not boo him at Zandvoort.
I would argue that every country's media is biased towards their drivers, including the UK. I am half spanish, half dutch, and the bias in both countries towards Alonso and Verstappen respectively reaches incredible heights. This is rather logical, since both drivers are a first for both countries in their sports (first seriously talented drivers). The UK has many current drivers with talent, and a long history of talented drivers, so ths hype surrounding every single one of them will be smaller. So in those terms, from all countries, I suspect the UK might even be the least biased. Having said that, the problem is that the UK coverage is to a large extend the World coverage. Their rhetoric will be what the majority of the paddock and the world hears, so in that sense the sport as a whole has a slight UK bias.
The British media are the most corrupt in the world. Sorry Kym. Iv been watching F1 for a long time and can’t stand having the Sky Sports commentary team. The biased couldn’t be more clear.
Dutch media always on Verstappen his side ? Who ever said that clearly doesn't know anything about Dutch media/journalists and needs to use Google translate. LOL you asking a British journo if they are biased is an absolute joke for obvious reasons, although it's a different sport. A lot English football supporters often also say the exact same thing about how the British media treats foreign players vs English players in the Premier League. This really was a piss poor attempt of running damage control for your buddies.
Asking British media people if they are biased is like asking a politician if they are corrupt. Of course they will say no.

Then he later said 'I'm a 3x champion', but not related to Damon Hill's comments. The way it was headlined makes believe that Max was dissing Hill, that has 1 WDC. Please get your FACTS right Kym.

Hill is just a bum who won his WDC because he landed a mega car, then was kicked out the team lol
Depends to what interview you refer but he gave an interview for Dutch television and was asked what he thought of the remarks by Damon Hill. In that interview he indeed said 'I'm a 3x world champion, I know what I'm doing' ..... I'm just saying....
He did say that on viaplay buddy. Make sure you are well informed before you try to correct someone. Now you just look like a fool.

😅 isint it the same with every country . They support their drivers more
@ yeah very true, although the British media takes it too far sometimes. Some of the stuff they put out is just reaching.
@ yes I’m well aware of all of that all I’m saying is frankly even for someone is British it’s annoying how much bias they havetowards other drivers
I'm technically British, and you are 100% correct
All media is biased towards their nationality, the question is why people whining about it? Sky is bristish they can’t be biased toward British athletes?
There a few that arent biased. I wish they could just get Clarkson in commentary booth for one race that would be awesome.
yeah and they are still butthurt over 2021 when their precious boy Lewis oh wait Sir Lewis didnt get his 8th win.
British media isn't biased. You can tell from the time Sky Sports literally made a commercial a couple of years ago with footage of Verstappen crashing. Not biased at all. 😂🤦

Was that the…in f1 there are pirates and good guys…one, yeah was pretty tasteless. Lemme guess, pirates = any other nationalities.
it was for a meaningless christmas ad too lol
They say that when it comes to Max they give credit where credit is due, but what they don't say is that when it comes to the British drivers they often give credit where it isn't due. That's the difference.
they give credit where credit is due except if a driver drives a outstanding race from 17 - 1 in the rain with no drs and loads of fastest laps what more would he need to do to get some of that credit ? drive a lando of the road ? cause it sure seamed that in that case they where on his ass but when he out preforms him they are now where to be seen lol.

I’m Thai and I can confirmed that British media are not bias as much as politicians are not corrupted…
> The British press is biased towards British drivers as well, they might not be against Max, but will always favour British drivers over outsiders
And would you not expect the Dutch press to favour Dutch drivers over outsiders? What's your point?
The british media who made a christmas commercial that showed Max crashing in Silverstone, he was in the hospital and had vision problems for months after. But hey Merry Christmas.
A thief never says he/she is a thief, that's the thing with British press!!! They're rotten bias to the core, the sooner F1 gets rid of many British personalities, the fairer it'll be for other drivers.

Not to mention how everybody had agreed on trying to prevent finishes under SC.
There were irregularities to be criticized but they were rather minor and didn't really effect the race where the frontrunners were concerned, because when everything had been done right since the crash, there would also have been a lap of racing.

As a Brit i hate all of Skyf1 pundits. All brits and all way to buddy buddy to each other . Don't listen anymore just watch without sound

Responded sunday in the rain after the stewards tried to give Lando an advantage.. What a masterclass and who give's a flying F** about Damon Hill...
He didn't win that either. So they don't only praise him when he wins. Slow Loris! There is no such thing as over criticising. That's their job, when Lewis had a horrible year in 2011 he was criticised for that or when he would jet set around the world and come to a race. He was criticised for that.
@@MojoMachin3 brundle isn't all of sky though and hill is probably max his nr 1 hater.
Kym, did you expect that when you asked british media if they were biased against Max they will be like "of course we are biased, we hate him" ? cmon now, they are biased AF, but they will never tell you that XD
The problem with egoistic Max is that he doesn't say sorry or does not know how to say it. Charles immediately apologizing after the cuss word was a sign of man without Ego.
i mean they threatened him with community service.
This is my favorite F1 RUclips channel. So chill and relaxed.
Lmao Max 'Lil bro'ed Damon with that 3 time world champion comment. Reminds me of Alonso confronting Herbert
Edit - Oh wait, 0 time WDC winning F1 driver Jhonny Herbert also has shit to say this time
Except Max didn't say that. Kym misquoted him.
Hamilton didn't do that as respect to Senna . He did it for his PR 😢😢😢
British media is bias. Don't try to down size it.
Damon Hill is to Max Verstappen what Paul Di Resta was to Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel
Please go rewatch the SKY broadcast of this year’s British GP, and then try to say they are not biased.
@@Bambeakz tbf Max's penalty was only for swearing in the post race press conference. They're not penalising drivers for swearing in the cockpit.
max swore in a whinging session on a thursday presser. charles was a slip of the tongue post race straight from podiums as he was describing his reaction to almost binning it into the pit straight wall. charles also pulled himself up straight away. max never apologised and continued to sulk it up all weekend thereafter.
In other words, Max is just saying "I'm an absolute piece of shit and I know it".
Oh how satisfying today was…
Max Verstappen certainly knows exactly what he's doing. I think this was clearly proven by his driving in Mexico.
and then he gets disqualified from championship like Schumacher in 97
@@sailyui Maybe, but Bernie isn't running F1/FIA anymore. In any case, time will tell. The season is quickly coming to an end with only a little over a month left in the season.
😂 y'all are delusional af. He's gonna race hard and maybe even go over the line. But he isn't going to crash on purpose
Max, welcome to press trying to be impartial. I'm all for Max, I think he's great and I hope he tucks another few WCs under his belt.
Yeah and i would argue the Dutch media would admit they are biased. Im pretty sure Sky Sports will say they are 100% unbiased.
@@tomsoyer5639 i mean the dutch also have albers to compensate who is a massive lewis glazer and is extremely critical of any mistake max makes
The British media are so biassed. Ferrari had a 1 . 2 finish and all the British media headlines ware about Lando . I swear I was out of the country and when i looked at British media online quickly and i honestly taught Lando had won it... 😢😢😢😢😢😢
Max Verstappen gets his driving skills from his mother and his temperament from his father. Josh's behaviour is a matter of public record.
You lost me at "I asked the British press of they're biased, and they said they aren't". Ridiculous take.
Why did you leave out that the Red Bull drivers were not out on track with the helmet? You highlighted the others that weren’t there..
They were probably doing some Red Bull promotional activity as per usual
@ Of course they were. 🤦♂️
But my point is- Why didn’t Kym mention them when he made sure he referenced everyone else that wasn’t there?
the British bias is very real. No f1 veteran will say otherwise.
(besides other British people)
Who cares what hill says he’s washed
Lol. He's an ex F1 world champion. He's not washed, he's retired. 🤣
if he wasn’t washed he wouldn’t be retired
There is no question about it! Of course, the British media is biased! I hear it every race week. If it wasn't for those pre and post race shows, I would unsuscribe from the sky f1... Life is unfair, sometimes 😂
Like if you support Max.
Oh definitely they are biased. He said he is in F1 for 10 years and knows what he is doing. That him saying he's a 3 time champion isn't related to that.
Damon Hill is a 🐑 🤡
No one has issue with biased media.
Bullying at the highest level!!
just like Lewis😂
@ your opinion, not mine!
@@EvA_productions Lewis never got these kinds of penalties

Crashstappen is a jerk!!
Always felt sorry for Hill about the Championship that Schumacher robbed from him. But not anymore….
The sky F1 team are a disgrace and an embarrassment. It’s insufferable having to listen to their drivel as an international audience of their coverage
And the witch hunt continues .. like Fernando Alonso previously said ; If you are not british in F1 you've got the wrong passport
After the Brazil GP, all I gotta say is DAMON EAT YOUR HEART OUT!!!!
