Yes. My hair was blonde and I used purple/blue shampoo. It wouldn’t do a lot unless I left it on for about 30-45 minutes. I used to be so scared that it would dye my hair but it never did 😅
Yeah it does when I use purple shampoo I leave it in while I’m washing my body then wash it out it totally works and makes the colors bright especially blonde
I used Olaplex toning purple shampoo and it ruined my 619 blonde wig. I’ve had to use clarifying shampoo to wash it out multiple times, doesn’t work. Did a bleach wash, helped some but didn’t quite take out the purple and grey of the blonde entirely. Going to do a color remover and bleach until I can get it right. I hate damaging the hair follicles this way, but people need to be warned on HOW TO PROPERLY USE THIS. CAUTION YALL!
I read the purple removes the yellow and the yellow is hard to get out of a black or brown hair, and the blue shampoo removes the orange color, so if u reached the orange color and u used the purple it won't work, u need the blue type shampoo for it
I'm not a professional but I think that you should do it regularly but not every day. When I first bleached my hair blonde I used it a day later and it felt and looked good so try it out
A lot of people said you have to use depend what color you have you can use purple or blue shampoo only once a week and wash your hair 3 times a week using shampoo and hair mask not conditioner.
It absolutely will NOT work anywhere near as well if you mix it. You are supposed to wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo first to remove all buildup as the purple shampoo can not penetrate dirty hair with buildup. But I wouldn’t mix it, you are essentially wasting your purple shampoo. And use olaplex purple shampoo it’s WAY better quality than and head and shoulders and whatever else was listed.
