Hi. Recently came across a couple of your vids. I like how you give an insight of the operation of the company and what you do on a regular basis. I live in the capital region and Trade Wind is where I want to be. Currently at 409TT. Great videos.
I'm a CFI with about 800 hours and really appreciate your perspective! Subscribed and look forward to seeing where you go! (Also I was raised on Cape cod)!
Well done on a great video! As an ex charter (bush) pilot in deepest Africa, I can say this is chalk and cheese! Looks nice and relaxed. Here we have very little working Radar coverage, most strips can be precarious at best, dodgy snag lists and so many unforeseen challenges to consider before even turning a blade! You look nice and relaxed....flying good equipment too! As for the muffins....absolute luxury! Well done again and good luck with your future career! At age 59 even with an ATP i'm considered too old and covid did my flying career in. Many memories!
The YT algorithm brought me here too, thats good for you lol, good to know RUclips is spreading your content because you deserve more views. I love the video, definitely gonna subscribe. I wish you the best with the channel
Thank you for sharing your trips. Handling to life of a Pilot looks good. The passion to be in the aviation industry is in the heart of all of us. From turbo to jets it is the love of being around aircraft in general that we love. Thank you for showing that Cessna Citation XL/XLS landing there before showing that JetBlue flight taking off. Nice!!! Well, as you are continuing to acquire more hours and instrument ratings, I hope you will finally feel how it is flying the jets in the life of charter pilot.
There are some great pilots I follow with their vlogs here. Take a look at Flying with Rich who does fly turbos and jets, Pilot Nancy who is a Gulfstream F/O, Captmoonbean who is a charter Pilot, Citation Max who loves flying what I think is the family's business jet. Again, these are great pilots who love to fly. Also, on the commercial side of things, FlyingwithbigErn is a really nice pilot who is about to become Caption on the 737s. He also shares flying a single and a new small jet engine from investing. Finally, a cool British travel vlog guy who shares his many travel trips is a pilot! So, check out Noel Phillps Pilot Vlog and his travel vlog under his name Noel Phillps.
Whatever you like you do with the channel ...all I know is i'm going to be consuming and LIKING everything youre showing as long as youre flying. Nice vids 👍👍👍👍
Keep doing vids like this brother they are great. i am a cfi with 500 out of hours on the island applied to tradewind last week since two of my friends work there hopefully ill get an interview one day
Great look at your work day! I'm currently working on my private and still don't know if I want to fly airlines or fly charter. Thank you for making this video!
Goodspeed worked you guys out of NYC heading to islands all the time. Good rule of thumb don't climb up vfr 175 straight out cause we are decending landing KBDL DPK to MAD 190 to 160 then 110 over MAD. 135 at first is safer until passed that DPK -MAD line eastbound
I work at Retrix/Ross/Atlantic aviation in Hyannis, hope all went smoothly there on our end during your visit! Going into college soon for aviation to do what you are, and I absolutely cannot wait. I’ll hopefully see you around my neck of the woods soon this summer!
Great vid. Well done! My suggestion, also along your travel plans to go with somebody else that you don't really know. I would also start with, combining your work travelling between cities, country is, to post where you'll be and your free time, met people that you kind of " vet" and they show you the place or cool places that they know, " off road/ off tourist radar (?)". The people you may meet up with don't necessarily need to leave there, somebody that lives near by or travelling to there @ the same time. Only a suggestion and different angle to look at a video project. Keep up the good work! Beto (London).
I plan to do the same. Some aviation content. Some travel content mostly travel content. I have a little bit to get to where you are though. Finishing up my CFI and CFII here in the next 2-3 months and somewhere along the line between CFI and getting to a regional, I plan to move to a 135.
Enjoyed the vid.. Would like to see more final approach and landing clips. I understand you are very busy at that time.. mebbe a GoPro and then edit later??
Personally, as someone who just finished my private and am working on my instrument rating, I’d like to know more about how you got to flying charter and if that’s where you want to end up, or if you aspire to the airlines. What are the good parts about this vs airlines? What are the bad parts? Etc. I’d like to know more about the life of a charter pilot. I’m older (54) and considering trying a career change before retirement. And some insight from your perspective could help guide my decision.
This is just typically speaking and I have no idea what Peter's goals are but typically if you're going for the airlines you don't do charter. Charter and part 135 operations are great ways to get into the business aviation side of things, think flying Target's private jets or celebrities, etc. If you want to go airlines, it's definitely possible after doing charter and it would be easy after enough experience, however, if you're going for airlines people usually go to regional airlines like Endeavor, Envoy, SkyWest, etc. It's a much easier transition between say Endeavor and Delta as the regional-to-legacy carrier path vs going charter operations to Delta. You would need a lot of experience doing the part 135 stuff in order to even be considered for hire at say Delta or American, whereas you could spend a year and a half at a regional and then go right to legacy. Hope that helps!
Thanks for the video!! I used to fly also before an unrelated dirt-bike accident. I'd love to see more aviation videos please. I'm down in Texas, and hopefully later this year I'm getting hand controls and will be going back up for the first time since my accident. I'm in a wheelchair now. What's it like flying into those airports up in the busy NE airspace? I wonder, I don't know how high up you go, if you are just on tracon or talk to atcc also?
Very nice videos my friend,I just found your channel and subscribe right away ❤️✈️❤️, I like aviation a lot myself , I use the MSFS20 flight simulator, thank you for the tips and contents 👍
Mr .Monténégro keep makin vidéos,maybe if you Can vidéos from your cabin, whath ..are your wishes, everythings, thanks for your nice vidéos,keep going ,sorry for thé englsh but i'm an Italien living in France.
So glad I found your channel Peter! I am a mailman for now but I am in the process of getting my PPL about halfway thru and would like to get into doing something similar to what you are doing so these videos are really nice to see man. Thanks for sharing I hope for the mean time until you travel you will share more of these videos. Other than aviation I would love to travel as my job and make RUclips videos that would be my dream if I ever had the money to do so as well so we have a lot in common, I watch tons of travel vloggers and if you’re not already following him I would highly suggest “gabrieltraveler” his channel is phenomenal imo!
You start by putting a tie on and looking like a professional which includes a haircut. If you ever manage to graduate to Major leagues and sit next to me at a real airline, I will be sure to remind you of your lack of professional appearance. But I doubt you get hired in first place.
More of the plane, more of you and the pilot in the plane, more of the take off and landing and and and. If you want us to watch, then please not of you going in and out of buildings, eating muffins etc. Meant well 👍

You hit 1500, I'm guessing?
1400! It’s been a long climb up the ladder!
From a fellow Tradewind Pilot, this video was awesome! Can’t wait to see more and hopefully get to fly with you!

I would love to have a job like that in Africa!
Spent 5 years in Zambia. Best and most memorable flying I have ever done. Nothing like the "office job" I do now
Great job on this episode! Very relaxed and entertaining presentation. Looking forward to the travel vlogs. Keep up the great work. And safe flying!

Very cool. While I was flying a humble C152, my long solo XC was 23N to Hyannis to Quonset and back.
Love the PC-12.
👍☑ That was nice Peter, tks for sharing.
Good luck with it! YT algorithm brought me here. I visited Nantucket back in 2002, an enjoyable time.
Love your videos man! I fly the 320 so its cool to see other types of flying man !

I'm 46 and seriously thinking about going to ATP. I'm worried about my age but I'm still going to pursue my dream
I’ve got a video coming out soon that might help!
You have no idea how much I appreciate the response. Please email me msmolton@gmail.com
Michael
Live your dream, my dude! ATP is a great school.
I did my flight training around that area, your vlog is bringing back so much memories and ifyou ever come to the San Juan hub, I'm also ATC at Beef.

Nice to see everything is going well, good stuff Pete🤘🏻
Not sure if you’ve flown into KFRG or KISP, but hope to meet you one day. I detail aircrafts around those airports. Keep up the great content! 🙌🏼
Great job, Peter.
Enjoyed the vid.. Would like to see more final approach and landing clips. I understand you are very busy at that time.. mebbe a GoPro and then edit later??
Please explain charter flying as compared to other types of flying
Great video Captain.
Amazing!❤
Thankyou. I enjoyed the video
Great video. Are they hiring and is it a good place to work? You're amazing and stay safe
looks like a pretty cush job. At least you don't get filthy and busted up loading the freight and freeze all winter because your plane has not heat...

Great video, just subscribed and hit that bell 🛎 button ;)
whatt you work for million air so cool I live near by there im in greenwich
Charter pilots can experience a number of things not in an aircraft.... Airline general more sorted until maintenance or other unexpected challenges
Nice video. Thanks!
I couldn't catch enough of the aircraft to know what it was for sure ! Another commentor said it was a pc 12 just wondering if he was correct !
Sure was!
Are you still working for Tradewind?
What's the difference between a charter pilot and corporate, also do you live being a pilot
One handsome pilot
With how many hours did you get hired and were u a previous CFI?
Do you need a cfi license for this too?
Mr .Monténégro keep makin vidéos,maybe if you Can vidéos from your cabin, whath ..are your wishes, everythings, thanks for your nice vidéos,keep going ,sorry for thé englsh but i'm an Italien living in France.

Thanks sir 🙏🏿
very cute and nice pretty eyes..
you might bé en example for youngest who Dreams to became a pilot ciao Franco
I like ur contant
how about shaving?
a tip is to rename these videos to: A day in the life of a _______________
You start by putting a tie on and looking like a professional which includes a haircut. If you ever manage to graduate to Major leagues and sit next to me at a real airline, I will be sure to remind you of your lack of professional appearance. But I doubt you get hired in first place.
It’s pronounced Epolettes
so its not true you have to shave your facial hair to be a pilot...glad to know
Better to be a bus driver....
More of the plane, more of you and the pilot in the plane, more of the take off and landing and and and. If you want us to watch, then please not of you going in and out of buildings, eating muffins etc. Meant well 👍
You sure like the camera focused on YOU. I thought this was an aviation vlog. Narcissistic.
It’s his vlog
