      I was hinting at how he made fun of real infomercials, how the people can't hold on to the objects (like with the old wire cutters). He portrayed it perfectly.

      Yeah Michael, I just bought some Snap-Off tools at the Dollar Tool Store after seeing a video promo posted by their owner, Mr. Bustya Nukols. Even I can access them since they are totally affordable. I was able to get their 20 amp cordless ankle grinder with a pack of 10 flying disks, a 20 piece set of screwed drivers, and even the low-profile hydraulic jacked-up, all for the low price of $19.95.

    • @sentryscrub
      @sentryscrub 7 лет назад +5

      the reality is if you arent using your tools everyday snapon, matco, cornwell, etc arent really nessecary. any tool will work it just doesnt do it the most efficiently. when you get paid flat rate and are performing a specific job that one tool might save you an hour which makes or breaks flat rate work.
      one of those most worth it tools is a 3/8ths drive flex head ratchet but it is in a 1/4 drive body by snap on. it fits almost anywhere and save so much time.

    While I am a fan of Snap-on tools since they are from my hometown Milwaukee, WI even though they moved their headquarters to Kenosha Wisconsin.But they are tools are great and work well but unfortunately I cannot afford them. The only tools I can afford come from Harbor Freight, but the real comment I wanted to make it's like have all these tools to help you remove a fastener that you have to be a contortionist to get at, but I don't see the tools that help you get the fastener back in unless you're Plastic Man it's difficult to get some of these small fasteners into these tight places, thank you Mr. Engineer, he just wants to make it work he doesn't care about who might have to fix it.

      @@frep420 You do realize how Snap-On trucks work...right? With Snap-On products, you "pay" for on-site warranty service and replacement, on-demand delivery, etc., if you are just "purchasing" their products off the web, you aren't getting what you "pay" for. The Snap-On truck guy shows to your place of work, regularly, and does a sales pitch on all his new garbage product, like plastic work lights that break when you drop them. And wants to sell you everything possible. Mac Tools guy typically saves you used trade-ins and sells them to you for dirt cheap...doesn't sales pitch garbage products while you are busy trying to finish a job, etc. Anyway...

    • @frep420
      @frep420 3 года назад

      I get how the salesmen are, if they charged a reasonable price, I could deal with all of their other issues

  • @jamesfenton7338
    @jamesfenton7338 7 лет назад +11

    I stopped buying "Snap-Off" tools a long time ago. I was breaking them by hand, and that was sad. Cornwell, Matco, and Mac, did better, and were somewhat more affordable.
    Last time I did try to buy a tool from Snap-Off, they wanted a credit application, needless to say, I bought my tool elsewhere.
    Husky makes good tools, and they are not very expensive, nor do they break in my hands.

    • @jamesfenton7338

    • @jamesfenton7338
      @jamesfenton7338 7 лет назад +3

      Yea, the last purchase I made from Snap-Off was a handheld scope, for $2200 bucks, and it didn't work so well and I returned it.
      Several years later I got the same scope for about $80 bucks, it was through my battery dealer and was the very same item. It still needs a fresh battery, but will probably never see one.
      A good two channel scope is invaluable. but Snap-Off will never see me on their trucks again.

    So a bunch of stuff you can get cheaper from HF, except for the nippers which look kind of cool. HF doesn't have any good diagonal cutters, they're all cheap crap. Their low-profile ratchet is also through-hole, which means it will handle stuff that you'd normally need a deep socket for. Thanks for trying though, Snap-On. I bet you can get two low profile aluminum jacks at HF for what one of these steel beasts costs
