Adamek K9 Kayaking - Big Shell Trip on Padre Island 10.20.17

We decided to wake up the Yukons 4x4 system and drive down 26 miles on Padre Island and stay at Big Shell Beach. The beach was narrow due to abnormal high tides and recent hurricanes. We needed to find a spot higher than the high tide mark. Still a beautiful beach with great weather. The night was crystal clear and no moon. Every star and the milky way was visible. Dogs enjoyed a romp in the surf and chasing crabs. Music by www.bensound.com

Beautiful video. Big Shell is on PINS (Padre Island National Sea Shore). South Padre Island is on the other side of the channel cut after Mile Marker 60 (further south). I love camping at Big Shell, one of few places left to grab some solitude.
