    Can I use a paper trimmer to cut the dryer sheets?

    • @Serenestamper
      @Serenestamper  9 лет назад

      Hi Doris - I'm not sure that a paper trimmer will work. Definitely give it a try but the dryer sheet may be too flimsy. Of course, once it's glued onto the card stock it will be fine to use with the paper trimmer. Have fun with this technique and HAPPY STAMPING!

    I am new to this. I have a couple of ?'s
    1. Do you precut your cards or buy them that way.
    2. What is the best size to use.
    3. Envelopes made or buy them as well?
    I've never been a fan of using stamps til I saw this video! I am disabled and looking forward to start making cards as well as vinyl decals and such! I welcome any tips...i appreciate any information.

      Hi Sheila. I am so sorry for such a late response. I am just catching up now on my youtube comments. Welcome to the world of stamping - I think you'll love it. I buy 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock from Stampin' Up! and cut the paper in half to make two ( 5 1/2" x 4 1/4") cards. SU also sells the envelopes to fit the cards. We also sell packages of note cards (precut and scored) with envelopes that are a bit smaller (20 to a package). Feel free to contact me at serenestamper@gmail.com if you have any questions about stamping - I'm happy to help!

      Hi Kristine - I can't recall what size panel the snowman is stamped on. My suggestion is to measure the length and width of your image and add a 1/4" when cutting your paper. All my finished cards measure 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" when folded.

    • @jerilynnolson6676
      @jerilynnolson6676 10 лет назад +1

      Jennifer, I don't use dryer sheets so I was wondering how I might get the same look. I haven't tried this yet but I'm going to go to JoAnn's and get some lightweight sew-in (not the iron on kind) of pellon and see if I could substitute that for the dryer sheet. I'm thinking I will dip it in some really warm water and wad it up a bit and then squeeze the water out and then leave it in a wadded up ball and sit and dry to get the wrinkles set in then smooth it out when it is dry and see if that might give the same look. If you don't know what pellon is, just ask at the cutting table. It is usually kept by the cutting table. Good luck.
