I'm excited to share a technique with you today that is an oldie but such a goodie! It's called the "Rubber Band" technique and I first shared this on my blog and youtube channel five years ago. I had no idea how popular this video would be! To view my original "Rubber Band Technique" click here: • Rubber Band Technique
In this new video, I demonstrate a very basic card first (I pretty much cased my original card from the first video I made) and then a second card using the same layout but with heat embossing. I then show EIGHT card variations with the "Rubber Band Technique" using different embossing powders, foil card stock, pigment powders and how to combine this with other techniques, such as the Emboss Resist Technique. I truly had so much FUN making these cards!
*** I'm also offering a PDF tutorial for all ten cards, which contains photos, step-by-step instructions, supply lists and measurements. You can use these tutorials however you wish - for personal use, workshops, classes, etc. For details and to purchase the tutorials, click here: www.serenestamper.com/2020/02/...
If you live in CANADA and would like to purchase Stampin' Up! products, you can place your order online at: www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/defaul...
♥♥♥ Thank you for your patronage! Every order placed through my online store helps support my business and I am grateful to serve as your demonstrator. FREE TUTORIALS will be emailed to you as a token of my sincere appreciation! xx ♥♥♥

Awww, you are so sweet! Thank you Melanie! xx
I was just thinking how pretty the rubber band stamp would look with Asian type stamps added. Then you showed them. Love this.
Such a wonderful treat Tina, thank you. Your original rubberband technique video is the one that originally got me interested in card making. So it is a real treat to have another of your great videos. Again, thank you for the inspiration.
I have always loved the smell of Staz On! Love this technique Tina. Can’t wait to try it!
I remember watching the first video. It was a lovely card and so easily done. Thanks for bringing it back, I will be having another go at it.
Great technique. The rubber bands create a bamboo look. TFS.
Tina, when you showed the rubber band technique using gold embossing powder the results literally made my jaw drop! Gorgeous effect! Thank you for sharing it, it's completely new to me and I'm looking forward to trying it out.
This technique looks so

I always love your beautiful cards. In my opinion you are the best designer there is. Keep doing the things you do.
AWEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! WOWZER!!!! An amazing way for me to start my day!!!! Seeing you create all theae beautiful eye catching cards!!! Tina, you nailed it once again!!! Have a spectacular day! I will watch this again many times!
Here is an inexpensive tip - buy a lint roller at the Dollar Tree or store and wrap various size rubber bands around (with the wrapper still around the roller) and roll on your design after running it across an ink pad or through a thin layer of paint. You can also remove the wrapper and stick various shapes of cutout fun foam sheets and bray those on. Endless possibilities!
excellent suggestions!!
I remember doing cards after your first video with bands.. I think these are all beautiful
cards Tina. It was a well done video! Thank you ....need to get some rubber bands!!
That second card is stunning.
I had forgotten how fun and abstract rubber bands can be. Love the added layers of colours that give such depth. Today your cards have an oriental sweet look
Thanks so much! I wish I had the "Power of Hope" bundle because I also noticed the oriental look, especially with the gold embossing on the Rococo Rose card.

You make my heart sing! I had watched your original video and was thrilled to see your creativity with limited supplies. It makes me so excited to think about getting to do Stampin Up full-time when my current business closes!! Question: when I get a chance to do Stampin Up full-time is it proper Etiquette to give credit to someone like yourself if I were to duplicate. A similar technique like you did in this video? Thank you so much for great content!!

Gotta try the rose with gold embossing, ...or maybe all of them. (Just now finding stamps that have been packed away for a year and a half! Almost as much fun as shopping!
