Making Art with Used Dryer Sheets

- Virtually everything can be re-used in some way. Used dryer sheets are a fabulous, fibrous element that can be used in your projects to create texture. Consider them decoupaged on glass, used to create paintings or flowers, use in scrapbooking or junk journaling... I really loved all of the fibers in these little sheets and can see multiple project uses for them!!

This is such a good idea. I can see tea or coffee staining the dryer sheets for use in art journalling as well.
Yes, Brenda! Definitely tea and coffee stained! the fibrous texture is wonderful for use in journals.
I’ve been saving dryer sheets for a year! Have a big bag of them. I thought I’d use them in my cardboard projects like folks do with paper and glue around the edges, like paper mache. I thought the fibers would hold extra good. But this idea is fantastic! I love the flowers and my mind is spinning with ideas! But the water color, junk journal, card making possibilities are endless! Enjoyed the video. First time seeing you. Gonna watch some more. Thanks!

The algorithm popped up this video and I love this idea. I've used colored dryer sheets for cats and dogs on cards but your ideas got me excited to branch out. I subbed on the spot!

This is brilliant. Will never toss dryer sheets again! The way it tears reminds me of mulberry paper but this more "readily available." Great idea for fun art making. Thank you.
That fibrous tear was what snagged me… but the fact that it’s a leftover byproduct from its first use grabbed me…. A total savings!
