Thank you for the video of actual diagnosis vs just changing parts. If you could shut the engine off to talk that would have been better for me but I heard enough of what you said to get the point. I’ve replaced my rack and the pump 2xs in a month so I have to have a leak to track down since mine comes out the top too.
Before replacing pump fovthis issue .. there is a filter in the reservoir replace reservoir 15 flush the system fill and burp the system guaranteed fix
I had this issue and had tried everything, ended up having to replace my power steering pump (used low mileage of course). God damn expensive part though
No wonder you got leaks and problems because you used generic fluid your rack is also probably leaking internally Honda vehicles are very sensitive to type of fluids used especially automatic transmissions
Pretty standard measure to go ahead and replace all o-rings before condemning any pwr steering parts as bad. I assume you're charging by the hour, most of this was time and fluid wasted. Get better at this if you' re going to charge people.
I have questions about my vehicle Toyota sienna 06 I install timing belt and water pump kit OEm and I have problem power steering fluid reservoir overflowing after change timing belt I don’t know what going on…if know or issue can you show me help me out please thank you for your time help
How else can he demonstrate what he' talking about? Pray tell. Having an accent that you are not familiar with can prove communication difficult but at minimum be grateful that he posts a video that highlights a problem that someone might be having out here. If it is not for you or you dont get it, politely momve on the next 1080p video in the queue.
@CHISELCHIPPER68 They person didn’t say a word about accent. I also think he should either shut the engine off or get some editing software. It’s how we improve. The info was very good. I appreciate him actually doing a diagnostic vs being a parts changer, but he we all lost a lot of good info trying to hear over the engine.
If you're not okay with the video please ignore it and move on with your life, rather than complaining. He's just a mechanic not an Hollywood film producer.
If you cannot jack the car so you can freely turn the steering then doing like him would do.. Thats how you bleed when you don’t have the necessary equipment.......

You bleed the system wrong

I'm not really sure if he really knows what he is doing. He sounds like he like hearing himself talk.
Well he seemed to fix the problem. Opinions are like.....
And thennnnn
No more "and then"... 🤯
