The Odyssey is one of my favorite stories. I love Greek mythology and after listening to "Warrior of the mind" I literally went crazy for this musical! Keep it up! 🌊🌊
I found this literally one week ago and this is all I've listened to since. I've devoured everything posted so far. Everything about this project is incredible and everyone sings so beautifully. I'm so excited for what's to come.
I literally just discovered it yesterday! I had heard bits of one of the songs in youtube shorts, but I never looked into it until yesterday when I heard something really cool in a video and wanted to track down where it came from. Now I'm really excited it's so GOOD.
I think it's beautiful that Jay is fan numero uno in all of this. Like, no matter how much you think you love EPIC, I promise you, Jay loves it more. Apart from his music, his storytelling, his acting and his voice, even his passion is an inspiration in itself

On December 25 it will be officially one year of me being in love with epic the musical after listening to the first saga, I immediately fell in love with Greek mythology so my history teacher, thank you ❤
This is such an amazing community, and the fanartists have been going crazy! There's like hours of animatics for a musical that's not even out yet, but Jorge is just holding the artists hostage and feeds them small crumbs once in a while. I can't wait for the next album to officially come out!

Hey Jay! I was wondering if Epic is planned to be more like Hamilton, where storytelling is completely through song and there’s basically no lines, or if Epic is planned to have dialogue in between songs. The reason I ask is because Troy Saga seems to have tiny gaps in time between songs, while the Cyclops Saga seems to all run as one long scene and all the songs run completely back to back. Can’t wait to see what you say!

Thank you for answering my question. I never connected the sagas to Dragonball. My mythology laden brain was just thinking the Norse Sagas were pretty epic, why not use the very accurate word for this form of storytelling. Maybe they did too.

I literally discovered EPIC yesterday, IMMEDIATELY got obsessed with it, listened to all the released songs, and have been binging all of Jorge's shorts and tiktoks. This really helped as a guide for the EPIC universe, thanks Jorge.

Like not about the story obviously, it's The Odessy, but experiencing all the songs has been so much more fullfilling listening to an EP in it's entierty that I'm really scared of hearing a song out of context lmao idk quite how to describe it
This entire musical reminds me of Hamilton, although with flipped protagonists and antagonists. Odysseus is like Burr, at first reserved, hesitant and morally conscious, but then progressing into more of a ruthless figure. On the other hand, Poseidon is Hamilton, always ruthless and always determined.
My wife is annoyed with how I excited I am to hear the next saga. Though honestly, I just want Ruthlessness! But I'll still take the other three too! 🤣
