Hey have you heard of band devilskin new Zealand heavy rock band
Handpan ✨
I've thought of a few, but today I have something old school on my mind. Edgar Winter - Frankenstein.
That one would be cool with some strobes or one-handed. Something to make it more interesting for you. Anxiously awaiting the weekend cover.
😎
I've been a drummer for over 35 years, I rarely make RUclips comments, but I have to say this man is the cleanest percussionist I have ever seen. Your limb independence, the beat subdivision, and again the cleanliness you keep in your grooves while traversing your kits is awe-inspiring. I for one have certainly found a few new things to strive for in my practice routines because of your videos. Most importantly, I am truly eager to see the next generation of drummers you inspire from your videos, and what astounding performances they might achieve when they incorporate your techniques and perhaps go beyond what we see here. Please never stop, you are an inspiration to drummers around the world!
Can someone pin this comment?
Agreed. I’ve also been playing since I was 3 and I’ll b 40 years.
He makes everything look so easy.
Sometimes it is fairly basic technique-wise (super fast singles/doubles/hertas). But then he starts pulling out 4 way limb independence and adding (extra) ghost notes to flipping meshuggah and AAL songs like it’s no big deal.
Then he does it with one hand drinking “coffee”. And smoking “cigarettes”
Agree
Even non-drummers for the matter
This is thee single best comment on here... I played this video back a couple times at ¾ speed...that looks more like my comfort zone, if I could play this. Lol.
We’re witnessing the evolution of drumming and possibly the most disciplined drummer of all time. It’s mind blowing. 🤘
I don't think you evolve being disciplined.. he went Rouge on that drum
Musician for 30+ years and touring. This is at the highest level meaning he is defining the highest level. This guy is changing the way drums are played.
Ok so gonna drop a comment... El Estepario LISTEN UP! My entire life I was born into percussion, my father was a percussionist, my brother, myself, my younger brother. Whole family filled with musicians. I lost my Dad in 2019 due to cancer... El Estepario. I just wish my Dad was alive to hear you play... I wish he could've witnessed you. I was brought up to hear drummers like Neil Pert, Ginger Baker, Keith Moon and so on.... on this mans grave I only wish he was alive to hear you play. Never doubt your incredible skill. You are the very best drummer in my lifetime. 100%
Your dad seemed like a great person, Jesus love you and keep doing percussion
I play bass and some guitar as a hobby. My father In-law and brother in-law are drummers.... But this dude MELTED MY FUCKIN' FACE OFF! 💀
Best comment 🥁
This man has singlehandedly convinced me to get back into music and has helped me get rid of my depression. Thank you EES!
Big +1 on the anti-depression inspiration
KEEP GOING BROTHER!
MUCH LOVE!
Maybe music was the cure all along
Music is The Cure
Often yes, he plays single handed 😅. Welcome out of your rut, glad you're back😊. This channel is top ten in the world for me. I wish I could play drums. EES IS BECOMING THE GOAT!
Couldn't imagine how long it took to master the 16th note 1 handed high hat part plus the dualist pedal AND the offbeat hi hat pattern all simultaneously. Truly incredible
Probably took him like 17 minutes
@@papakingdongakayobabysdaddy😂
On his Insta page he said he's been practicing this song for only 2 weeks. Wow.
So 336 hours. Sounds about right.
But seriously, that one handed 1/16th note part was absolutely insane. I love this guy.
@@grafixgirl bro practices about 8 hours a day but it's still mind blowing
I almost forgot to watch this today
So relatable, this shit is in my playlist
I’ve decided at 35 and depressed I’m finally ready to pick up the drums. I JUST discovered your stuff and I’m ready to spend hours for the next several years. Thank you sir. True inspiration
I am not a drummer, never been, never will be, but....this is something i have never seen. Brother you are something else. Wow. Well done.
Don't worry, I play and watched a lot of drumming, never seen anything like this before. Better than this? Maybe, but this is truly one of a kind
20yrs of drumming and I have never seen that little "wiggle filll" on floor and a RIMSHOT??? now I have to go practice that little maneuver.
You are simply transcending drums, brother. I’ve been playing for 30 years and never come across with anyone with your natural talent and work ethic on the drums. You deserve everything you get and more. You were destined to bring us happiness with music. Never stop my man!! Never stop
Natural talent = hard fkn work
I don't think it's hyperbolic at this point in saying he is actually revolutionizing drumming. He's doing shit I cannot fathom
@@colonelflom262LOL!
not making a sad comment, but my niece is blind, she is 14 and she freaking loves the drums.. surprisingly she is into metal/rock.. i m guessing all the things with heavy bass.. I ve just introduced your talent to her world.. she is amazed and she is in a such beautiful innocent awe on how freaking good you are.. thanks dude.. I wish you all the best in everything you do!
P.S you have some amazing kind worded fans... and thank you all!!! we support her in anyway possible! \m/ thank you all again for your kinds words.
He has the heart and only needs his hands. I've even seen people play with one hand. She is just as capable as everyone, we want to see her!
@@camilacurly ya well she wants that too 😂(this is not a hate comment that story is beautiful but that joke was to good to pass up)
What is sad about it? Blind people often have unreal talent for music. See Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Andrea Bocelli , among many many others... It brings me joy that she found something that she can realistically do very well and enjoy. Keep it up!!!
@@mikhailarutyunyan4126 its a set back but she can have the drumming world at her feet it just takes practice!
she sounds like a badass to me.
That stick flip transfer to the other hand was smooth as silk. Blows my mind evertime I watch. Well done Sir!
Truly awesome! The 'cymbal-grabs' got me too!!!
I don’t know how many times I’ve watched this.
I can’t handle it
He’s the best drummer of all time
I've been playing all my life. Never had to punch a clock. I've put a kid through college on my craft. I say all that to qualify this next statement. There isn't ANYONE like this man. Totally unique to him.
As someone who has been lucky enough to play and teach (at a very mild level), the thing that amazes me is that no matter how many notes he plays, it never feels 'too busy'. Him and Carter B are the two that come to mind with this unique skill. Everything is musical and there aren't just a wash of notes for more notes sake.
@@larryharperjrHi, this might be me being naive but isnt he playing beats and not notes?
@@larryharperjrI think this comes from how tight his playing is. His transitions are butter smooth. He forces some notes into a riff towards the end, but otherwise, I'm 100% with you. Just amazing work. Using stick tricks to accomplish something other than flash, to me, is the magic.
@@hermbobsquarehead This could be argued either way really. Yes, he is playing beats, but the differences in the sounds of techniques he's using paint more of a picture than sitting behind a set and riding the beat. YMMV.
Lol!
Some of that stuff was insane and it’s a shame most people will not ever understand how good this guy is
Nearly 3 million subs. I think a lot of people know 😄
I think almost everyone knows how good he is. Just saying
I thought the same thing! I bet most won't even see how he uses the extra sticks in his pants, and how smooth the transition was!! WOW!!! I think he is the damn best in the world! As far as I had ever seen anyway!! He is unbelievable!!
i mean i play drums and i sometimes dont understands how he does these incredible things
I am 50 years old this month. I stopped playing about 20 years ago. You have inspired me to pick up my sticks once again, thank you!
YES!
Well that inspires me at 35 to pick something up now so by 55 I can get lost in the music and just play for hours. Good luck good sir.
In my life, I have seen many professional drummers during special performances and international competitions, as I am an experienced drummer, but I have never seen or heard someone with these skills and artistic sense. The ideal classification for this musician is an artistic phenomenon
WHAT IN THE AMAZING DRUMMER!!!
I'm a 55 year old woman who knows nothing about playing the drums but I do know I've never seen a drummer like this. I love watching this boy play!
Fun fact: you dont even have to be a drummer to appreciate how amazing and difficult this is.
I’m not even a drummer nor an instrument player and teared up once he hit that first chorus bc of how beautiful it was
True. As someone who only know how to play harmonica, melodica, & a freakin tuba I indeed appreciate the showcase of such skill. Like seriously, percussion players are beasts.
The things he does with the snare was something.. i didn’t know was a option
True. You can be a legendary vocalist and appreciate it, as well.
music is universal bra
I wish I was a fraction as good at anything in life as this dude is at drumming... 🔥🔥🔥
I played for years, never even scratched the surface of this guy's talent. Amazing talent, and always humble, he even says he's nowhere near the best drummer out there. I would say he is one of the best.
Okay this is the most insane drum performance I’ve ever seen.
Until you hear the next one haha. Dude pulls his talent from every dimension
Ain't seen much yet, huh?
Dig in, this dude’s not human!
this is not a cover, this is new music. Incredible
yep amazing
Exacto!
I think it qualifies as a remix with the amount that the percussion has changed the song.
It seems like every time I watch this video I am unbelievably impressed and amazed. I also seem to see something new every time. This is the best cover of this song!!!
I am 13 and am a drummer with a band and am trying to get better you are a big role model towards my drumming thank you for uploading
He's not just playing the drums...he is the drums.
❤!!! YES!!!❤
Like Jim Lahey!
he is drum machine
He plays with himself As one with the kit 🎉
To play the drums you have to become the drums.. Zen Drumming :D
Bruhhh…. We are literally witnessing an icon right before the whole entire world of music evolves because of them! Across all genres!!! You rock brother!!
This is what greatness looks like.
Love the prog aspect of this, I feel like he was thinking almost ahead of where he was actually in the song because it's very seamless in transition. Melodically strong super catchy, makes you listen. I can definitely rock with this.
This amazes me. I know great players can do ridiculous things but I’ve always liked musicians who serve the song first and foremost, this manages to be flashy and unbelievably impressive yet it makes the song better as well. That’s really special.
It really can’t be overstated that Siberiano is clearly getting better and better with each video. It’s one thing to be able to hold a groove…but it’s a whole other thing to blend so many techniques into a two minute track and add crazy stick razzle-dazzle without missing a single accent or beat. This guy is one of those generation-defining drummers who only comes around once a decade, if we’re lucky. He’s a masterful showman, but above that, he’s an extremely technical artist. Keep it up, bro!🍗🍗
Lol!
DANG BRO that was one of if not the most technical and most difficult performances I’ve seen. You’re a machine 💪
Who needs a drum machine when you can have El Estepario Siberiano?
Im glad that when you simply search "Drum Cover" in youtube.... this is the top result. Hail to the Groovefather!!!
this is insane. the speed of the transitions is unbelievable...
This is like a drum cover and a magic trick in one. I had to watch it again to see how he was swapping in a third stick and then throwing it away. Brilliant
the stick trick transition into the chorus at 1:00 and 1:57 was the cherry on top of a master piece. I've listen to it easily 10 times already I can't get enough.
I’ve prolly watched this a hundred times. Just doesn’t get old. 🙌🏼
One drummer to rule them all.
Im so fck in blown away by this dude. out of this world.
Awesome work dude
This guy's technical ability is absolutely insane!!!! IMO, there is none better
Lol! You're joking right?
@@elmhurst86 Name them then
@@RafaelSilva-jz5jm Lmao! Matt Gartska, Gary Novak, Zach Danzinger, Vinnie Colaiuta, Marco Minneman, Benny Greb, Nate Smith, Dave Weckl, Virgil Donati, Thomas Lang, Steve Smith, Keith Carlok, Dave DiCenso, etc., etc. Need I go on?
@@RafaelSilva-jz5jm You're obviously not a serious drummer.
Amazing skills but 0 soul
Bro he's doing sooo much I can't even follow...the concentration...the coordination...this guy is on another level, such talent....keep it up, man!!!
Bruh, just the concentration on the dualist pedal to tap it from single to double is unbelievable.
I keep coming back to this one, can’t stop! Amazing!
I watch this about once a week lol still blown away, amazing my friend
This guy is the absolute epitome of dedication to one's craft. Incredible!
Anyone else think this is his best one yet?
Absolutely agreed
early favorite for best drum performance, stick musmagicianship(probably not a word) . bassdrum foottalion, , accent, and a shoo-in for drum fill (the last big one) of the century
🤯🤯amazing is an understatement. Mind blowingly talented and creative. Showmanship is elite. So controlled and clean. Truly inspiring. Master at his craft
As a fellow drummer I am astonished by your skill..... after watching you play I realised that I still have a long way to go.....keep rocking bro🤘🤘🤘
Simply a Leonardo Davinci of percussion. Literally a skill set that brings tears to my eyes. The time, patience, understanding, dedication required...... we should all be proud to be human beings by association based on this man alone.
Thank you Sir.
I literally cant describe how good he is but that comes close to it
We are so lucky to experience this mans greatness.
Man, what species are you bro?
You are legit the Tiger Woods of Western percussion. Youve found a new way. You are the inspiration. You will be the architect of the new age, if you havent already lit that fire.
Im blessed to have found you and i enjoy your music thoroughly. Keep putting it in the ether bro!
JerryC, funtwo and now El Estepario. The three Gods of musical covers on RUclips. This version will forever be "THE" blinding lights for me. Unbelievable skill and talent, thank you for allowing us the privilege!
One of his best performances. That was really something
Fucking hell man…he’s literally Buddy Rich good. He’s literally reinventing drumming. It’s a joke how good he is. Tight as you can be, but somehow still has so much groove (even when playing mechanical sounding parts), unrivalled technical ability, flair, showmanship and impossibly on top of all that still hits hard with what looks like no effort. Never seen anyone make playing drums look so easy! Truly believe we are bearing witness to an all time great.
Groove?
We need this song with drums on Spotify!
I just can't stop listening he made the song a 1000 times better 😎👏👏👏
HOW DOES THIS NOT HAVE MORE VIEWS. Absolutely incredible.
probably because of the 50 react videos to this piece..
The true definition of an expert is the person who can do something so mind blowing and make it look like there’s no effort involved whatsoever! I absolutely love this guy! 🤘🏻
That was simply Amazing. You are inspiring a new generations of musicians, not just drummers. Love the videos.
On behalf of everyone on this planet, thank you for sharing your talent with us! You took playing the drums to a whole new level
not talent. but skill. hard earned skill through endless practice.
I have been playing drums for over 50 years. Pure and simple, I have NEVER seen anything like this in my Life. Sorry Buddy, Vinnie, Tony, and Dennis this guy beats you all. I do not say that lightly either. The effortless precision, speed, and groove is unmatched. And I have seen it all. The best Drummer in the history of mankind !! PERIOD !!!!
P.S. I hope you are making at least $1,000 per video because you deserve it for bringing the joy you bring to drumming. Thank you :)
I think he is only earning money from selling merchandising and sponsors, because RUclips does not want to pay him for his videos due to song's copyrights. He can tell it more in detail, but I think that was the problem. Anyway he is sharing the videos for inspiration, so we can all enjoy! 💪🏼👏🙏 Thanks!
Can’t compare there are all different, he’s the best content creator drummer at the moment, 1 man who has his measure by far but is a touring drummer is Eloy Casagrande, listen to his masterclass live at Chile Hall 1st 10 15 mins he’s the best
@@aaronclark-pearman9030 I will always get a kick out of people like you. The hypocrisy is astounding. You all say, "no comparison and everyone is different." While bringing another name to the table to compare any drummer that is in question. Nice job.
Thanks it’s very subjective, the reality is it’s easy to get mesmerised but this performance due to the well written song he’s tracking to that’s actually the hook, this guy is the best drum you tube creator by far and has astounding ability but he isn’t the best at all and drummers like I suggested have way more abilities but arnent putting into in such an attractive package and bringing it to the tube like El Est is
Unfortunately almost all his videos are demonetized because of copyright. He has a video about it. It's hard to think about when you consider how unbelievably hard he has worked, and continues to work to bring us such joy.
The back and forth gravity ghostish on each snare is the definition of tasty
I've watched this video al least 20 times and never get tired of it.
Cant get enough of it!
Got to know this song through this video and searched the Official video from The Weeknd to compare, and man....this cover takes the song to a whole different musical level.
This guy is just the GOD level drummer.
I can only think of Neal Peart as a possible challenger to excellence in drumming.
Estepario: la sacaste del estadio con esta composición. Mis respetos.
I've watched this so many times now. I can't express how incredible this is. You've elevated this to one of my favorite musical tracks of all time. You took a song which was already great, and elevated this with a near perfect performance. Every detail you added, every bit of practice to make this, was absolutely worth it. Nothing feels out of place. This was like watching the first person who climbed Mt. Everest. If you never made anything as good as this again, you could retire satisfied that you added this beautiful piece of music to the world. But you won't retire yet will you? Of course, you're onto the next, and I wish you every single ounce of success, fame, and fortune that comes your way.
Just when I thought it was safe to back into the water! The Groovemaster immerges with another astounding cover in the art of the nearly impossible. Improvising with a simple song to make us all realize that we should not limit ourselves to simple boring drum parts. Musically, I just love how you add drum parts to a song to change the depth! Incredible! Coming up on my 59th Birthday, I though I had seen and heard all of the best of the years. My childhood heroes of Neal Peart, Buddy Rich, Carl Palmer, John Bonham and Stewart Copeland were my inspiration! But seeing you play - I just want to say thank you for making drumming fresh again. You have opened a whole new horizon for us all!
thumbs up if you're here daily
This is my favorite cover he has. Something about the control and song with "double-pedal" is awesome.
I'm back , see you again tomorrow ❤
You have evolved. Again. I've only been following for a few short months, but it seems like every time I check in after a while there's some new technique that blows my mind. I can't even put names to the things I'm seeing. I'm no drummer, but your timing and movements... and the effort and determination that must be required to achieve them are inspirational. Please, keep showing us what is possible. This is true mastery of your craft.
0:28 This is seriously the coolest and complexe groove ever created
I’ve been in and around music and musicians all my life. My father was in a well known metal band. Though I took a different direction I’ve always been an enthusiast. This sht blows my mind. Can’t stop watching this dude.
Amazing how he holds 2 drumsticks at a time while drumming, love this video you earn subs
I've watched this so many times and Blinding Lights isn't even a song that I've gone out of my way to listen to in the past. This cover is nuts! My favorite trick is the sixteenth notes you play off of your higher snare. Such a cool cover!
I have never heard anything like this. Being into drumming or not no one can deny this is a level of talent rarely, if ever found.
Iv had this on repeat for an hour
@@DanLafford Honestly, him holding back actually makes this even better. It's so much more enjoyable to listen to than the original song it's not even close. If he went all in it'd be too much and not as enjoyable to listen to imo.
Right. Same
@@Bassalicious YES. Sometimes throwing 32nd notes in is impressive, but knowing when/where to use them is more useful.
Just when you think you’ve seen it all, this dude comes along.
He's playing the beat but filling in everywhere. He's a mad man and I love it
Man, I LOVE the trick with the double drumsticks! Plus I love this drum cover! It brings tears of joy to my eyes!
If you truly want to be mind blown. Now listen to this track without WATCHING him play it. The fact that he fits insane technicality invisibly (aka organically) into this track and doesn’t get in the way of the *song* is frightening. Next-NEXT level musicianship. That’s his super power. Mind blown.
I scrolled down in the comments for just this. Not to watch him, but just to hear... Its amazing.
If your a musician, remember having that 1 idol? The one person that motivated you to progress? Then adulthood comes and those hair on the back of your neck moments watching your idol slowly fade away. This man brought that back for me. I've been killing my drums since finding this guy. THANK YOU!
This is an awesome comment. 👌 I can connect
I know nothing about drums, I’m not into drums, but this is just WOW!!! 🙌🏼
One of the best drummers I've ever seen.
That amount of coordination and precision is absolutely nuts, genuinely can't get my head around it.
It looks so effortlessly...
Tienes un don de Dios realmente impresionante!
Tomas una canción "sencilla" y haces un cover difícil de reproducir aun para bateristas muy virtuosos que públicamente por este medio admiran tu trabajo!!!
Sin palabras...
Dude, you are a Legend. Where did the 3rd Drum stick end up going Amazing it was there, then not. I've gotten BUMPS ON MY GOOSEBUMPS. Love watching you.
The stick handling for those two spare sticks, not just the transfer but also the drop when you're done using them... So slick!
And the drumming itself, on point as always!
That transition into the second chorus at 2:00 was slick 👌🏼
I'm still trying to get my jaw back in place, that was really sick indeed!!
He does it at 1:00, too lol.
A Super-slo-mo would be helpful for me to understand what he did all together in that second. 🤖

Truly created a new ceiling for drummers. Absolutely insane
This one literally made me cry. The flow state I see you enter is absolutely beautiful. Your a beautiful man inside and out. Thanks for your talent and hard work. 👍
absolutely. he was in the freaking zone
so wanted to actually see how you did this.
slowed it down and watched with sound on.
the look of concentration and joy on your face when you play mirrors ecstasy, the state. It was beautiful and inspiring, thought you should know.
bonus, i am learning it in super slow motion.
I've been following him for a while now and am always in a state of wonder and amazement at his skill level, Im not impressed by many drummers since I have been playing since elementary school myself but am ALWAYS impressed by El Estepario
Some people get emotional when they see a work of art that transcends the bounds of it's physical properties - the Sistine Chapel isn't just a painting, the Ecstasy of St Therese is more than just a statue. This, this is more than just drumming. It's a work of art and I can't stop watching it and I get emotional every time. Perfecto!
Lol!
I can't even handle how awesome this is.
You know what weird is here.? Control of duelist pedal while hands do crazy stuffs up there, stick trick, grabbing third stick, but also before that, rim shots without loosing the accent, precision is always there, gravity control with both hands, and all that with such a creativity, don't forget how smooth EES dropped third stick on the end of ref, almost uncatchable and everything that he change is so crazy and connecting it again so smooth and fast. I play drums for almost 20 years and this is far away the hardest thing you can imagine to play on drums, your brain need to control many multitasking in the same time without losing accents on every possible stroke, everything is sounds so clean and precise. And after all I can say I never saw such talent as this, this is above of any level, from another dimension
It's seems your still pushing your boundaries which is not only encouraging but still amazing.
You've clearly have worked diligently on your craft. Thank you for sharing this gift with us.
As a percussionist, dude is actively teaching me what it means to be dedicated. He reminds me what it truly means to put in the time for your passion and your livelihood, as he said in his semi-autobiography, sometimes it's just the desire to perfect a craft, not the craft itself. Respect and appreciation

I'm taking this as a sign that i need to practice drums more, also that bass pedal is beyond sick and the way he seamlessly switches them without even having to look is next level!
