As someone who has been lucky enough to play and teach (at a very mild level), the thing that amazes me is that no matter how many notes he plays, it never feels 'too busy'. Him and Carter B are the two that come to mind with this unique skill. Everything is musical and there aren't just a wash of notes for more notes sake.
@@larryharperjrI think this comes from how tight his playing is. His transitions are butter smooth. He forces some notes into a riff towards the end, but otherwise, I'm 100% with you. Just amazing work. Using stick tricks to accomplish something other than flash, to me, is the magic.
@@hermbobsquarehead This could be argued either way really. Yes, he is playing beats, but the differences in the sounds of techniques he's using paint more of a picture than sitting behind a set and riding the beat. YMMV.
Bruhhh…. We are literally witnessing an icon right before the whole entire world of music evolves because of them! Across all genres!!! You rock brother!!
the stick trick transition into the chorus at 1:00 and 1:57 was the cherry on top of a master piece. I've listen to it easily 10 times already I can't get enough.
It really can’t be overstated that Siberiano is clearly getting better and better with each video. It’s one thing to be able to hold a groove…but it’s a whole other thing to blend so many techniques into a two minute track and add crazy stick razzle-dazzle without missing a single accent or beat. This guy is one of those generation-defining drummers who only comes around once a decade, if we’re lucky. He’s a masterful showman, but above that, he’s an extremely technical artist. Keep it up, bro!🍗🍗
In my life, I have seen many professional drummers during special performances and international competitions, as I am an experienced drummer, but I have never seen or heard someone with these skills and artistic sense. The ideal classification for this musician is an artistic phenomenon
Ok so gonna drop a comment... El Estepario LISTEN UP! My entire life I was born into percussion, my father was a percussionist, my brother, myself, my younger brother. Whole family filled with musicians. I lost my Dad in 2019 due to cancer... El Estepario. I just wish my Dad was alive to hear you play... I wish he could've witnessed you. I was brought up to hear drummers like Neil Pert, Ginger Baker, Keith Moon and so on.... on this mans grave I only wish he was alive to hear you play. Never doubt your incredible skill. You are the very best drummer in my lifetime. 100%
I thought the same thing! I bet most won't even see how he uses the extra sticks in his pants, and how smooth the transition was!! WOW!!! I think he is the damn best in the world! As far as I had ever seen anyway!! He is unbelievable!!
I have been playing drums for over 50 years. Pure and simple, I have NEVER seen anything like this in my Life. Sorry Buddy, Vinnie, Tony, and Dennis this guy beats you all. I do not say that lightly either. The effortless precision, speed, and groove is unmatched. And I have seen it all. The best Drummer in the history of mankind !! PERIOD !!!! P.S. I hope you are making at least $1,000 per video because you deserve it for bringing the joy you bring to drumming. Thank you :)
I think he is only earning money from selling merchandising and sponsors, because RUclips does not want to pay him for his videos due to song's copyrights. He can tell it more in detail, but I think that was the problem. Anyway he is sharing the videos for inspiration, so we can all enjoy! 💪🏼👏🙏 Thanks!
Can’t compare there are all different, he’s the best content creator drummer at the moment, 1 man who has his measure by far but is a touring drummer is Eloy Casagrande, listen to his masterclass live at Chile Hall 1st 10 15 mins he’s the best
@@aaronclark-pearman9030 I will always get a kick out of people like you. The hypocrisy is astounding. You all say, "no comparison and everyone is different." While bringing another name to the table to compare any drummer that is in question. Nice job.
Thanks it’s very subjective, the reality is it’s easy to get mesmerised but this performance due to the well written song he’s tracking to that’s actually the hook, this guy is the best drum you tube creator by far and has astounding ability but he isn’t the best at all and drummers like I suggested have way more abilities but arnent putting into in such an attractive package and bringing it to the tube like El Est is
Unfortunately almost all his videos are demonetized because of copyright. He has a video about it. It's hard to think about when you consider how unbelievably hard he has worked, and continues to work to bring us such joy.
I've watched this so many times now. I can't express how incredible this is. You've elevated this to one of my favorite musical tracks of all time. You took a song which was already great, and elevated this with a near perfect performance. Every detail you added, every bit of practice to make this, was absolutely worth it. Nothing feels out of place. This was like watching the first person who climbed Mt. Everest. If you never made anything as good as this again, you could retire satisfied that you added this beautiful piece of music to the world. But you won't retire yet will you? Of course, you're onto the next, and I wish you every single ounce of success, fame, and fortune that comes your way.
True. As someone who only know how to play harmonica, melodica, & a freakin tuba I indeed appreciate the showcase of such skill. Like seriously, percussion players are beasts.
Just when I thought it was safe to back into the water! The Groovemaster immerges with another astounding cover in the art of the nearly impossible. Improvising with a simple song to make us all realize that we should not limit ourselves to simple boring drum parts. Musically, I just love how you add drum parts to a song to change the depth! Incredible! Coming up on my 59th Birthday, I though I had seen and heard all of the best of the years. My childhood heroes of Neal Peart, Buddy Rich, Carl Palmer, John Bonham and Stewart Copeland were my inspiration! But seeing you play - I just want to say thank you for making drumming fresh again. You have opened a whole new horizon for us all!
I knew his coordination was incredible with his hands, like I have almost gotten numb to it. But using the dualist like that is crazy. Swapping modes that often is wild.
Fucking hell man…he’s literally Buddy Rich good. He’s literally reinventing drumming. It’s a joke how good he is. Tight as you can be, but somehow still has so much groove (even when playing mechanical sounding parts), unrivalled technical ability, flair, showmanship and impossibly on top of all that still hits hard with what looks like no effort. Never seen anyone make playing drums look so easy! Truly believe we are bearing witness to an all time great.
This is like a drum cover and a magic trick in one. I had to watch it again to see how he was swapping in a third stick and then throwing it away. Brilliant
Some people get emotional when they see a work of art that transcends the bounds of it's physical properties - the Sistine Chapel isn't just a painting, the Ecstasy of St Therese is more than just a statue. This, this is more than just drumming. It's a work of art and I can't stop watching it and I get emotional every time. Perfecto!
Absolutely insane. My drum covers could never. I wish I was comfortable showing that much energy and skill in front of the camera for mine. Let alone the production quality and amazing mixing
Simply a Leonardo Davinci of percussion. Literally a skill set that brings tears to my eyes. The time, patience, understanding, dedication required...... we should all be proud to be human beings by association based on this man alone. Thank you Sir.
If your a musician, remember having that 1 idol? The one person that motivated you to progress? Then adulthood comes and those hair on the back of your neck moments watching your idol slowly fade away. This man brought that back for me. I've been killing my drums since finding this guy. THANK YOU!

I have never heard anything like this. Being into drumming or not no one can deny this is a level of talent rarely, if ever found. Iv had this on repeat for an hour
@@DanLafford Honestly, him holding back actually makes this even better. It's so much more enjoyable to listen to than the original song it's not even close. If he went all in it'd be too much and not as enjoyable to listen to imo.
If you truly want to be mind blown. Now listen to this track without WATCHING him play it. The fact that he fits insane technicality invisibly (aka organically) into this track and doesn’t get in the way of the *song* is frightening. Next-NEXT level musicianship. That’s his super power. Mind blown.

I seriously don't know what to say besides that you are probably one of the absolute cleanest, most accurate drummers I've heard or seen. Watching you move... I'm just flabbergast. Absolute legend sir!
You are, hands down, the greatest drummer of your generation, when it comes to execution, versatility musicality and creativity.. It's a huge pleasure to see your work online.. Truly an inspiration to musicians all over the world.. 🔥
@satvrn7007you’re missing the point, what’s he’s doing is something no one has ever done, is he the greatest drummer? I would say as far as skill and technique he is, now as far as musical choice that’s a personal preference, he leans more towards metal which is more of a physical challenge. I would like to see some Jazz fusion along the lines of Weckl, but I’m sure he can do it, and when he does you might change your mind.
From 0:53 on you blew my mind only to top it by a double stick hat on 1:04 keeping the groove going as if it's nothing. I've seen a lot of amazing drummers, but this is absolutely inspiring. Thanks a lot!
I could never play drums, or any other instrument, but whenever you upload a new vid, without realising it, i have an endless smile on my face while watching it. My 7yr old kid asked me the other day why i was smiling. I invited him to sit with me and watch you play, and his face lit up with joy, even though he doesn't know the songs. Obviously he can't pronounce your name, so you're now the "awesome guy with the beard that plays the drums" to him, and he asks me to watch more videos of you playing because he enjoys it so much. You're a true inspiration and a joy to watch mate. Thanks for sharing your music with us, keep doing what you do!
Putting the obvious talent and skill aside for a moment: the tone on your kit is absolutely phenomenal. The snare, tom and bass are tuned to perfection. I don't know if you maintain your kit or if it's a studio tech, but whoever it is is an artisan of the highest tier.
It's seems your still pushing your boundaries which is not only encouraging but still amazing. You've clearly have worked diligently on your craft. Thank you for sharing this gift with us.

Only 4 other musicians ever Would be able to answer that question . Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, Buddy Rich, and Neil Peart. Nobody else qualifies as a game changer.... And now this guy shows up and he's gonna change everything. I'm old so I was fortunate enough to be able to see all 4 of the previously mentioned musicians while they were showing up for the first time and stunning People into absolute silence. And I'm watching the world's reaction to this guy I and I'm seeing the exact same thing. The reaction isn't what you see to somebody that's really good at their instrument. People realize that they're witnessing something that shouldn't be possible and it shouldn't be happening. We're witnessing the third game changer in the world of drumming.
the level of muscle control and endurance Estepario got is just insane, on top of that also being able to separate different commands to different limbs at the same time with that precision to the beat. This is just not something ordinary people can do because it requires a WHOLE LOT of repetition to train both your body and nerves to handle this kind of stress. Whenever i try this, my wrists, arms and legs just cramp up, and then obviously i lose the beat and then the interest.
I am not a drummer, but have a deep understanding of what being an expert is in one's field. I can't stop smiling while watching his incredible skills.

Still best drum cover in the history of music. I’ll show that to many of my musically inclined friends and I have to pick their jaws off the floor. We’re in the US my guy. My dad was an amazing lead guitar player for 2 bands inducted into Nebraskas rock and roll hall of fame. He says it the best drummer on the planet.
I had to go watch it again, I'd miss that throw/catch 90% of the time even if I wasn't playing multiple drums with my feet and keeping rythm/time going, agreed on the insane, but awesome to watch. I'm not even jealous of the dude anymore, it's just become accepted that I'm going to love whatever he records, that much coordination takes time and dedication.
Turning a regular bland pop song into an interesting musical piece with such a minimal drum set is pure evolution; this is a game changer for every drummer alive.
The stick handling for those two spare sticks, not just the transfer but also the drop when you're done using them... So slick! And the drumming itself, on point as always!

YMMV.
Lol!
This dude is unreal, been drumming 20 years this dudes on a different level
NASA
This dude and Louis Cole in particular are absolute monsters
Bruhhh…. We are literally witnessing an icon right before the whole entire world of music evolves because of them! Across all genres!!! You rock brother!!
This is what greatness looks like.
the stick trick transition into the chorus at 1:00 and 1:57 was the cherry on top of a master piece. I've listen to it easily 10 times already I can't get enough.
GOD's DRUMMER
lol
It really can’t be overstated that Siberiano is clearly getting better and better with each video. It’s one thing to be able to hold a groove…but it’s a whole other thing to blend so many techniques into a two minute track and add crazy stick razzle-dazzle without missing a single accent or beat. This guy is one of those generation-defining drummers who only comes around once a decade, if we’re lucky. He’s a masterful showman, but above that, he’s an extremely technical artist. Keep it up, bro!🍗🍗
Lol!
Your dad seemed like a great person, Jesus love you and keep doing percussion
I play bass and some guitar as a hobby. My father In-law and brother in-law are drummers.... But this dude MELTED MY FUCKIN' FACE OFF! 💀
Best comment 🥁
Some of that stuff was insane and it’s a shame most people will not ever understand how good this guy is
Nearly 3 million subs. I think a lot of people know 😄
I think almost everyone knows how good he is. Just saying
I thought the same thing! I bet most won't even see how he uses the extra sticks in his pants, and how smooth the transition was!! WOW!!! I think he is the damn best in the world! As far as I had ever seen anyway!! He is unbelievable!!
i mean i play drums and i sometimes dont understands how he does these incredible things
his not good, his the bestttttttttt!
Unbelievable. As a drummer my whole life, I have never seen or heard anything this amazing, clean and precise. Drum God!
Fun fact: you dont even have to be a drummer to appreciate how amazing and difficult this is.
I’m not even a drummer nor an instrument player and teared up once he hit that first chorus bc of how beautiful it was
True. As someone who only know how to play harmonica, melodica, & a freakin tuba I indeed appreciate the showcase of such skill. Like seriously, percussion players are beasts.
The things he does with the snare was something.. i didn’t know was a option
True. You can be a legendary vocalist and appreciate it, as well.
music is universal bra
Swapping modes that often is wild.
this is not a cover, this is new music. Incredible
yep amazing
Exacto!
I think it qualifies as a remix with the amount that the percussion has changed the song.
Bro he's doing sooo much I can't even follow...the concentration...the coordination...this guy is on another level, such talent....keep it up, man!!!
Bruh, just the concentration on the dualist pedal to tap it from single to double is unbelievable.
Groove?
I've seen this a 100 times and I still keep coming back
IKR. It is my first "go to" when I want to introduce someone new to his talent. I never fail to get a "Damn, he's amazing."
This is like a drum cover and a magic trick in one. I had to watch it again to see how he was swapping in a third stick and then throwing it away. Brilliant
DANG BRO that was one of if not the most technical and most difficult performances I’ve seen. You’re a machine 💪
Who needs a drum machine when you can have El Estepario Siberiano?
Some people get emotional when they see a work of art that transcends the bounds of it's physical properties - the Sistine Chapel isn't just a painting, the Ecstasy of St Therese is more than just a statue. This, this is more than just drumming. It's a work of art and I can't stop watching it and I get emotional every time. Perfecto!
Lol!
I literally cant describe how good he is but that comes close to it
If your a musician, remember having that 1 idol? The one person that motivated you to progress? Then adulthood comes and those hair on the back of your neck moments watching your idol slowly fade away. This man brought that back for me. I've been killing my drums since finding this guy. THANK YOU!
This is an awesome comment. 👌 I can connect
Okay this is the most insane drum performance I’ve ever seen.
Until you hear the next one haha. Dude pulls his talent from every dimension
Ain't seen much yet, huh?
Dig in, this dude’s not human!
01:00 .... is a godly transition. Soooo smooth.
On behalf of everyone on this planet, thank you for sharing your talent with us! You took playing the drums to a whole new level
not talent. but skill. hard earned skill through endless practice.
I’ve been in and around music and musicians all my life. My father was in a well known metal band. Though I took a different direction I’ve always been an enthusiast. This sht blows my mind. Can’t stop watching this dude.
Right. Same
@@Bassalicious YES. Sometimes throwing 32nd notes in is impressive, but knowing when/where to use them is more useful.
OMG! Your drumming doesn’t just set the rhythm-it cranks my heartbeat up to 11! You’ve officially turned my day into a rock anthem!
If you truly want to be mind blown. Now listen to this track without WATCHING him play it. The fact that he fits insane technicality invisibly (aka organically) into this track and doesn’t get in the way of the *song* is frightening. Next-NEXT level musicianship. That’s his super power. Mind blown.
I scrolled down in the comments for just this. Not to watch him, but just to hear... Its amazing.
The true definition of an expert is the person who can do something so mind blowing and make it look like there’s no effort involved whatsoever! I absolutely love this guy! 🤘🏻

Gracias x tu amor. Muchos éxitos bro.

As a percussionist, dude is actively teaching me what it means to be dedicated. He reminds me what it truly means to put in the time for your passion and your livelihood, as he said in his semi-autobiography, sometimes it's just the desire to perfect a craft, not the craft itself. Respect and appreciation
just when I think this guy has done every amazing trick I can think of, he pulls out that one handed hi-hat action at 1:18. Jesus Christ
I love this guy. His speed, transitions, flow, timing, and foot work is amazing. Drum on. Been at it 25 years plus. This is art
We are so lucky to experience this mans greatness.

I have goosebumps, I am exhausted, my jaw hit the floor, then it went past the floor, I found myself sweating and I can't tell if you are even human. This was fantastic!
DJ Spatula! Haha phenomenal
I made the mistake of having this be the first version of this song that I experienced, and I quickly fell in love with it for obvious reasons. But now it is the only version I can enjoy. Oh well, not complaining, just coming back for the hundredth time!
Know what you mean. I remember when he dropped this upload i was like woah is he working with someone? When I checked out the original i was like, meh no thanks, I’ll stick with el estapario’s version! Not to take away from the weeknd guy, he obviously wrote a good song, but if it ain’t this version then i just ain’t satisfied.
I am not a drummer, never been, never will be, but....this is something i have never seen. Brother you are something else. Wow. Well done.
Don't worry, I play and watched a lot of drumming, never seen anything like this before. Better than this? Maybe, but this is truly one of a kind
Same, there's not a vid from EES I miss or dislike. It's just an astounding oeuvre of versatile, incredible musicianship and done with such a joy of making music as well.
This mother trucker is THE GREATEST DRUMMER in the WORLD. Complete mastery of the instrument. Love you my guy.
That amount of coordination and precision is absolutely nuts, genuinely can't get my head around it.
It looks so effortlessly...
I know absolutely nothing about drumming beyond "hit thing with stick"; I'm just a singer. That said... holy hell, I can FEEL the precision in this. I seriously don't know what to say besides that you are probably one of the absolute cleanest, most accurate drummers I've heard or seen. Watching you move... I'm just flabbergast. Absolute legend sir!
2:31 is a ludicrously good fill. It mixes speed, chops, and feel perfectly!
Very nasty.
And the look into the camera just like "K check this out now" :) Dude is something else. :)
That stick flip transfer to the other hand was smooth as silk. Blows my mind evertime I watch. Well done Sir!
Truly awesome! The 'cymbal-grabs' got me too!!!
@@maeu59 The independence is also mind bending.. It would be cool to see some up tempo Jazz and what he comes up with..
From 0:53 on you blew my mind only to top it by a double stick hat on 1:04 keeping the groove going as if it's nothing. I've seen a lot of amazing drummers, but this is absolutely inspiring. Thanks a lot!
Thank you.
Any time I hear this song, anywhere, El Estepario's version is what I hear.
For that, I will be, forever thankful.

Thank you for sharing this gift with us.

this may be overplaying slightly but take nothing away from this guys talent. In my opinion, El Estepario Siberiano is one of the best drummers on the planet, he has technique, timing and just overall skill. This guy is the metronome and the speed of his drumming is immaculate. He makes it look so easy, mastered to perfection!
Just when you think you’ve seen it all, this dude comes along.
I'm gobsmacked by the musicality of this version of this song. Even though you manage to shock people with your skills, you don't overplay it, you enhance it. Fucking amazing work!

I wonder what it’s like knowing there isn’t another soul on the planet that can cover this song like this.
@@grahamstuart9164maybe Danny Carey too.
the level of muscle control and endurance Estepario got is just insane, on top of that also being able to separate different commands to different limbs at the same time with that precision to the beat.
Same here. Insane. Just insane.
This cover is BY FAR THE BEST of those he played till now. And the most technic. And the most difficult. And the most beautiful. El StepALIENO Siberiano... Simply EPIC!

I had to go rewatch the transition to the two sticks in one hand…HE THREW IT TO HIS OTHER HAND
This is just insane!!
@D.M_officialElEsteparioyay, we’re all winners 😆
This happens at 1:04 in the video. Watched it a few times now, just amazing.
Turning a regular bland pop song into an interesting musical piece with such a minimal drum set is pure evolution; this is a game changer for every drummer alive.
I hadn't realized how simple the set is until you mentioned it. Holy crap.
The stick handling for those two spare sticks, not just the transfer but also the drop when you're done using them... So slick!
And the drumming itself, on point as always!
Watching you play gives me pure joy. I didn't even know I was into drums until I found this channel.
I loved that drummer who said "if his rolls were any faster they'd just be a melodic tone"
I watched this 20 times this weekend and again 3 times so far this Monday morning...
This is the most incredible drumming I've ever seen. If youtube existed for one thing, I would hope it would be for just this. So inspiring. El Estepario, you are truly an international treasure! On behalf of the drumming community, world wide, you truly are amazing! Keep it up!
