My First DH Park (Snowshoe) didn't End Well, but was Epic up to that point!!

Me and the boys drove 16 hours to Snowshoe MTB park in West Virginia to hit the trails. This was my first DH park, and what a rush, I can not wait to go back. Right before lunch on the first day, I did what I thought was a simple drop. I came in too fast, jumped too far and lost control. The bike high sided me and landed on my left side. When I got back home to Ft. Lauderdale, I took a trip to the ER and nothing was broken, but my entire left side of my body feels like I got hit by a truck full of fat kids.
Anyway, Enjoy the video and I hope to be back on the bike in a few weeks.

16 feet on the drop and 32 on the cupcake gap, lip to lander...most send it closer to 40 feet on the distance which is around 20 feet on the drop. They actually extended the landing an additional 6 feet this year because people were overshooting it. I personally find it a much smoother landing this season. Great riding! But is your bike ok? ;-) All the falls you recorded are of the "heyyy I'mmmm falling" sort if you know what I mean. Like you know it is happening and you can't do a damn thing about it. Your fall at the last jump looks much worse from your POV than the angle you posted on IG. On IG it looked like you landed smooth and then washed out going into the trees; here it looks like the landing set up the rest of the problem. Anyway, fun vid, makes me want to check out Snowshoe. ' hope you are back at it, soon!
Yeah, bike is all good. Thanks man. Snowshoe is epic, gonna shut down Oct 13 though. But yeah, the 2 different angles make it look like a diff fall. Lol. I just went in too fast.
