Wow ..terrible. I wish I could upgrade without the added noise level. I love the silence and peaceful rides through the trail when I can hear my tires scrub of anything else. And even hear the deer in the woods scatter ! Maybe I will check out the 36 so it can be a mid point of better engagement while not quite as loud. Glad you played the sound !

It's worth mentioning, because seemingly no one does, higher engagement hubs will increase your pedal kickback. So higher engagement hubs have added benefit for technical climbing, but give you more pedal kickback. If you don't actually need high engagement don't upgrade to the 54t, there is actually a 36t available for the DT 350 also.

16 feet on the drop and 32 on the cupcake gap, lip to lander...most send it closer to 40 feet on the distance which is around 20 feet on the drop. They actually extended the landing an additional 6 feet this year because people were overshooting it. I personally find it a much smoother landing this season. Great riding!
