@fflbrgst sorry. Consider me a skeptic. If you listen at 00.12 and 00.28 and look at their hands, that's undoubtedly a slide. There's no way you could bend that range or make it that smooth. I don't think Todd or Jesse are doing anything on the guitar that would emulate that. If they are I sure wish they'd teach me how to do it. I'm not questioning how amazing their musicianship is. I know some bands will have a person off stage add an occasional bit.
@@jamesj9998 - I believe what you are hearing at those points is Bobby Strickland using his MIDI controller device. Todd HAS used backing tracks on occasion, but never 'someone backstage' playing a part!

I hear the great slide part but don't see anyone playing it. Wonder if some parts are "on tape". I always thought everything was live in his concerts.
Neither Todd nor Jesse have used slide on the lead on this song for years. It's played with string bends, etc.
