True! HasbunAllahu wa ni'amal Wakeel. I still think that a simple masjid would have been sufficient, it is just too extravagant. There is no special prize for praying in a beautiful mosque, we get awarded for the khushoo in our salah. I am not criticising; it is just my opinion.

Brother, i may have an unpopular question and anyone reading this comment please don't think i am trying to be disrespectful. What are your thoughts with such big and extravagant mosque? 2 million dollars is so much. Yes it is for Alllah but i feel like that money could go to many needing organizations. When i was a Christian i thought the same about churches/mega churches. Am i in the wrong for thinking this? Thank you again. Amazing video
I think the main Idea is to accommodate the growing communities and to build a structure that’ll be stable for generations to come Inshaa’Allah

I agree with you brother. There is a prohibition about building extravagant mosques by the prophet. If the money spent on space and accommodations, then there is no problem.
A magnificent building in the land of Kuf’far can also be used to spark curiosity about Islam. It can also show the love and respect they have for their religion. Beauty, by its nature, draws attention, which can be used as a form of dawah. These are some benefits out of many. I’m sure others could point out more.
Well the cost can be cut on decoration but the capacity alloted to it depends on weither there is a mosque at all in the entire area at all??and future projection, so more mosques won't be needed.

The mosque is beautiful. Such a large number of people nearly six thousand at a time can pray it’s amazing. Usually how many people daily attend the mosque to pray. Is there any kind of accommodations for people coming around the world and the states. What are the main activities of the mosque. Is there a School for people to learn Quran and Hadeeth. Thank you.

You’ve a logical concern but if you think big I mean business, you’ve to start big and so spend big. When you invite big parties to talk about the future of Muslims in U.S. and in the world you’ve to have respectable place they like and believe in. As far as poor n needy communities are concerned financing and cash formula of this mosque would not work for them. The Muslims and poor countries are collecting regular aid and assistance in $billions annually. Sacrificing this mosque for their monthly expense dint make any sense. Some are addicted to it while others are very proactive in investing and developing their communities. The umma need political and financial education that the need grand scale decision which we know be taken in poor com need jig how el conference and meeting with the country’s top leadership. Communities and poor Muslims in a church or shop turned into masjid in a rundown neighborhood.
