- Hey what's up everyone it's me Shi! I made it out to Pardee Lake Opener 2024! It's always fun to go join the hype but it's not always fun when the hype doesn't live up to the action! When was the last time they planted at Pardee so far I haven’t seen anything and all I’ve been seeing the skunks

That's a great color you are using . One of my go toos. Keeper makes a 3 inch grub that works well for small use too.

Plenty of fish out in pardee but they get the lock jaw some days but there's always someone out there scoring even when most aren't
That is definitely true. I honestly think I could have done a lot better but there's always better days.

I was there for the opener also and had 3 double ups with my cousin. Had almost 2 limits within an hour. Kept 2 limits with my cousin and caught 16 total before 12pm. I have some footage on my page definitely worth checking out

Haha love it. "I picked up slowing rolling worms this year and it's been pretty effective." However 30 seconds prior "I'm looking to catch my first trout of the year." So it hasn't been that effective then? You're normally chasing the stock truck at the south pond. How can you not catch those?
I've been hooking up on it but I'll lose the fish by the shore. Idk but Camanche trouts have been really finicky and picky this year. So we'll see.
My eyes can not see 2lb test 😂
I've used 2lb test line on my mini reel. I've caught many trout on it at Lake McClure/McSwain. That 2lb test line can stretch and have a pretty good tensile strength until it snaps.

You're not supposed to have body contact with the water at Pardee, it's a drinking source. Shouldn't be rinsing your hands off in the lake.
