Easiest way to use your Industrial Sewing Machine || Settings and Sewing speed

I have only just started learning to sew. I've had this industrial machine sitting in my home for over 3 years. I'm very serious about learning to sew now and have hired a tailor to come and teach me and my gurls how to use this machine -which has only been used maybe 10 times (by other people). Your tutorial is very comprehensive & informative. My only suggestion is to STOP saying how easy & simple it is, because to me (who's just starting out) threading the machine is like rocket science. . .very difficult, lol. Since I bought my machine last year August I never used it cos the speed was too much. I resolved to using my small machines instead and bought motor on it.
After watching this video, I realized the man who setup the machine for me placed it at point 5 hence the speed. Now I can sew without stress.

Yes you can, you just have to buy the industrial presser foot of what you want, not the domestic presser feet.

I thought those numbers only determine the stitch length. You put it at 5 if you want to sew gathers. I don't know how that affects the speed of the machine.

D thread just dey cut when reversing and a lot of thread under I kukuma part to my black head. And ma pls I message u on Instagram on how to work with velvet fabric.
