This is pretty neat, especially how compact it is for an 8 speed. I guess Lego isn't that good at making transmissions space efficient for their sets. Also I though in auto-stick vehicles pushing the shifter forwards will cause an upshift, not pulling it back?
Yes, for some it is like that, for example Volkswagen group cars are typically up shifting as you push the stick forward, but BMW does it the opposite way. For BMW, upshifts are pulling back. It may seem odd at first but for some reason it actually makes a lot of sense to me now. Great question. Thanks for the comment!
