Your videos helped me kick my 10 year opiod addiction 2 years ago. You make a difference! Take the time you need and do what is best for you, in a healthy way.
Hi Tim, I wish I did not understand the struggle you are describing with the "black dog" as Winston Churchill called it. Unfortunately, I do. I'm glad you are aware of your need to take a break to pursue self-care. Sounds like wisdom to me. Proud of you.
Thanks for sharing your story Tim. I definitely feel at this stage of your life & with the tools to cope you’ve accumulated over the years along with your self development work you’ll good to go at some point. It’s good to step back from time to time, when you’re at the forefront of this well-being stuff it can get intense. Switch off my brother. Do nothingness. It’s healthy.
I am one of your biggest fans and I’m also a psychologist in the USA. You do you. We all wish you the best and please remember - you are not alone. You have loads of people who care for you and look up to you. Reach out if you need to. I sent you my email before. Take care.
This video and channel is helping me so much. When he described his childhood, it was like he was talking about me. I remember at a very young age, having panic attacks and thinking I was dying and I couldn’t get my breath. I now know what they are. My brother and sister, both dying at different times during my childhood and my parents divorcing and tons of emotional and physical abuse shaped me into a very anxious person.
I'm trying to taper from the oxycontin and the depression and anxiety is crippling , hang in there my friend , just have yourself a break, your an inspiration
Praying for your recovery🙏 if you havnt already try to find a recovery group that you like. It may take several tries until u find 1 where you feel at home.. a sponsor who u like & is there for you is your life line. 2 of my children struggled. After many yrs & overdoses at different times they got it. Totally different support groups, different sponsors.. the result was the same, they're both sober & doing great. You've got this!!!!
Im on the same road I'm withdrawing off of a long high dose kratom binge and the anhedonia, anxiety and akathesia is extremely difficult a second feels like an hour but I'm still pushing forward stay strong man +
Thinking about you, Tim. I hope you are managing well, connecting with your friends and loved ones, and giving yourself the self-care you need, my friend.
Hi Tim! You must know me a little bit following some of my comments on your channel😅 Me,if I try to quit at naerly 70 year young ,I call what 's happens in my head as "soup",or "black swamp",the world is not grey,is black ,everything is umbearable, every dialogue with people is impossible because it makes me an horrible person, the opposite of what I am when I have a sufficient amount of "heromedecine" as I call it😁🤭in my system! Today I had sufficient amount in my blood, yesterday at bed time I got my valium10,so today I am an agreable person for my entourage, Khmer people mostly because I live there south Cambodia. So today is a gooood day to say hello to you my friend! See you soon in the comment section if I feel ok for that! Bye for now!😊
Thank you for forcing yourself to make this video, it helps many others. I’m glad you have the self-awareness to step back and give yourself the care you need. Your videos have helped me a lot and I’m sure many others also! I would hate you to stop making them, but I would understand… You need to give yourself some grace and the negative comments you might be getting is not understandable to me. There are so many mean/mad people in this world anymore and I’m having trouble to understand it myself. But remember that’s on them, not you. Please take all the time you need and I hope to see you back soon!
