I was kind of sceptical when I saw how many subs you get per views and it felt a bit fishy to me. But I know whenever someone makes a video that talks about subscribers or asks others to subscribe, then the video gets so much more subscribers. So it kinda makes sense, good job.

I also started my RUclips channel after watching Jack Craig's videos. But my results aren't so great. At the beginning I used get pretty good amount of views, but recently I've been having zero progress.
I'm gonna try to be consistent and upload videos every day...

I'm create long format video and I've been considering diving into RUclips shorts to help direct viewers to my long format video. However, I've come across conflicting advice about whether it's wise to create both shorts and long-format videos simultaneously. Some sources suggest it might dilute the impact of the long-format content.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Have you found success in creating both long and shorts videos? Any tips or insights you could share would be greatly appreciated.

Hi thank you so much for your kind message! I actually have never uploaded both long form and shorts content on the same channel as I have also been told that it can actually negatively impact future videos growth. I once considered creating long form football content to my shorts channel Baller VS Baller, but after some research i believed it was best to remain shorts only. This is because I have grown a large audience who are use to short videos only and I was worried that a long form video would not meet retention needs or be received well by my subscribers. With saying that, if you film original content and your audience appreciates your videos it is worth trying both forms of content to trial if it boosts both engagement and exposure to new audiences.

Firstly, I suggest changing your logo and banner as the channel is not anime or One Piece themed. Try to brand around popular celebrities/podcasts that viewers are familiar with/are related with the channel. Your captions and videos flow really well. I can see your most viewed shorts are interview clips of Tom+Zendaya, two super popular celebs. Keep creating shorts with clips of really well known celebs as they will be recognised and watched by an even wider general audience. Hey dude, thanks for this video. It’s very difficult. It’s a struggle.. it might be easier other people, but it’s very difficult for me even when I am totally blind I lost my eye vision 2018 and I’m really pushing harder and harder to figure all this out. Right now sometimes I have help out on my channel but when I do it myself, it’s a struggle, but when I get help, it’s success because they know more than you. They always say you can’t do it because you’re blind and I don’t want her to be us. We all can do it yeah I know it’s gonna be harder on me but I think I’m down but it’s a struggle.. and it really stinks when I tried doing my own thumbnail. I need to have my family member to move the tax or whatever I hate being blind is very bad timing for me when I want to figure this out..
Not today, not tomorrow, but one day we may be as successful as you.

Hi thanks for your comment! I export clips from social media sites like RUclips. The shorts policy allows you to edit clips sourced from the internet. But make sure to read the shorts guidelines if you are unsure of certain clips. I will explain in more detail in a future video.

I am recovering from being shadow banned, I would edit a shorts-style video but upload a portrait AND a landscape video. The shorts did good (For what I am used to and am expecting) but the landscape ones tanked, which tanked my whole channel for a couple weeks. Thankfully, I realized that and don't post landscape versions anymore and my shorts, old uploads and new ones, are performing better automatically.

I would suggest trying out more backgrounds and images to keep your edit layout "branded" and authentic for each video (I will explain more about this in my next vid). It looks like your most popular videos incorporate company logo and movies so keep trying to make videos around popular topics that a wider audience can relate to/interact with. Hi thanks for your comment and I am glad you enjoyed the video! I just subscribed to your channel and you should be proud of your results so far for a new channel. I remember when I started my channel I only gained 21 subs in the first month so you are already doing really well! Firstly, I would suggest to focus 100% on shorts when starting out as long form videos take up too much time to edit and do not gain as much algorithm traction compared to shorts. I like that you split videos into separate parts as this will create more suspense for viewers to stay engaged + keep watching your videos. As your channel is still so new, the algorithm is still trying to understand your specific channel genre + target audience. So the best thing to do is keep posting videos consistently! Remember to stay patient and keep trying new ideas to determine which video styles gain the most views! I look forward to following seeing your future content :)

Hi thanks for your comment! I have checked out your channel and left a sub. Your videos are great haha your camera quality and lighting looks great! Only 45% of people chose to view my videos in the first month, now it is 75%. Swipe rate % will take time to build up as the algorithm takes time to recognise your target key audience and push it to the right people that will be interested. I have also noticed that it takes a bit more time for channels with live recorded reactions as viewers become more familiar with your face and funny reactions! It also hugely depends on the clips you react to they also have to be really engaging and catch viewer's attention within the first seconds otherwise they may swipe. 315 subs for 60 videos posted is a great ratio, keep posting as much as you can to faster gain exposure, good luck mate!

@@FuunyJoo my average retention time viewed is 90%. I make sure that my videos are between 20-25 seconds. Hope that helps :)

The likes to to dislike ratio was 98.3%(455) but the subscribers gained where 70 which I assume were not that good
