@@FlankiForEver I just search for football clips on RUclips but I am a huge football fan so I see clips and videos everyday from footballer's instagram accounts. If I see something interesting I will save it and create a video around it (e.g. Ronaldo drinking milk)

I would suggest creating shorter videos with an engaging hook. Retention is such an important metric but it sounds like your retention is improving keep up the good work!

My latest video hit a brick wall, so I took one day off to relax, perhaps I was flooding the algorithm with too much content(I know, there's no such thing😂it's just this thing that happens to everyone where you get little to no views). I just made sure to fit everything onto the screen. It is really easy to do this on canva just drag the clip to fit the size of the screen.

Shorts policy allows clips to be used but must be edited. I’ll explain in my next video

Find a song you like on YT, copy the URL and download it by using an MP3 converter, type "youtube to MP3" on your browser it is super simple

Thank you for your comment! I was worried about the same thing and that I was going to miss out on 10M in 90 days but if you think about it all it takes is one or two videos to go viral to rack up millions of views. So it is actually easier to achieve than most may think. If you are already getting a few hundred thousand views each week then that will increase and definitely get you to 10M in 90 days (3 months)! Keep up the great work and you will get there!

Hey thanks! Yes it does take some time for the first shorts on your channel to gain some traction. Best thing to do is keep uploading and the algorithm will become more familiar with your content + target audience!

Coz i saw many YT videos got copyright strike because of this song..
Some songs are copyrighted in different countries. The shorts policy allows you to use any audio in your shorts and they are monetisable. But check if your country has any exceptions to this policy, e.g. banning songs.

It sounds like you may have a connection issue or phone software issue. Try deleting the app on your phone then re-downloading. Sometimes I have issues uploading from my phone and doing this always troubleshoots phone lag issues.

Use a clip converter online. If you’re unsure about copyright, watch my other video all about monetization

Did you appeal the ban enforced by RUclips? What was their reasoning for your channel's ban? I have never had this issue for my football channel. What clips were you using and was the video heavily edited?

try shortening the length of your videos and add an engaging hook at the very beginning of the video.
@Nick.Edward I've tried many but it doesn't seem to work. The one I did abt Mr beast had like 42% on 400 views but retention of 63%. So what do you suggest cause I feel if RUclips pushes it out to more people, the swipe rate will increase
@@MysteryMinute-qs2xo interesting. Have you tried researching popular topics that general viewers will engage in? It’s important to hook viewers in the first few seconds otherwise they are likely to swipe on.
@Nick.Edward I really don't know I've tried a lot of hooks. I even tried saying the person with the correct answer wins a prize. But the swipe through is still low. It's not football that's too popular. That's y I feel if RUclips pushes it to more people, more people will view. Cause I have high retention like 116%
