Being a fan of wrestling for 16 years, I always knew something fishy was going on about Vince I could never make out what that was, watching this and hearing, seeing everything online it makes you wonder, big deal names behind companies are never as they seem
So the reason she is able to speak is because Vince was suppose to pay her 3 million for the NDA but he stopped paying after 1 million so she is free to take the case and talk about it during the case but she has to legally get it invalidated on a federal level too in court. The whole situation is fucked, but is not unexpected given Vinces history, his close contacts and his whole demeanour. It's been a long time coming I just hope she and others like Ashley Massaro R.I.P. finally get some justice.

It shouldn't matter though because the allegations already imply that she didn't consent to many of the acts in any way. I hope this goes to trial and she wins. A settlement is just compensation, not justice.

An NDA does not protect you from criminal or civil liability. The law was broken and an NDA only stops her from speaking publicly about this.

Ab initio (from the beginning), the illegal contracts to cover up illegal activities (now Fed RICO-tier) are void. And attempting to issue such illegal contracts are illegal themselves, since they now count as obstruction.
It doesn't matter what Grant or McMahon say now, since the FBI already did the raid, and already know the illegal network he was running. Secondarily, since no NDA can stand in furtherance of a criminal act, nor obstruct, Grant has now been able to lay up everything criminal (slickly done too, just like the Ohio Laborers v. Because she was forced to sign the NDA against her will, she would be classified as not of sound mind to make the decision to sign it, therefore it wouldn't hold up in a court of law.
Unfortunately it's not that simple. Obviously it's dependent on evidence but if they cannot prove that he did anything illegal AND they cannot prove that he pressured her to sign the NDA. That's what I'm sure McMahons team is banking on.

From what I've heard #1. Part of the nda was that Vince was supposed to pay her 3 million dollars but only gave her 1 so that voided the nda and #2. Vince was not legally allowed to give nda's because the WWE is a publicly traded company.
The crazy part is the response to it. The near-overwhelming repsonse from former employees and wrestlers (no linger with the company) has been, "None of it surprises me." That says a lot IMO.
And Vince is already being investigated by the FBI and federal judges - it's only a matter of time before Vince is also in criminal court and then punished and has to go to prison

The problem about the NDA is that he was supposed to pay her 3 million dollars but only paid her 1 million and refused to pay the rest. He violated the agreement by not paying the amount that he suggested. Because he violated the agreement there was no reason for her to keep quiet. It's no surprise he wouldn't pay given that he bought Stampede wrestling from Stu Hart but refused to actually pay a single penny that he said he would and the only reason Stu didn't sue WWE was because he thought Bret would be punished for it
What this guy failed to say and inform you about is that she was getting $10,000 and $20,000 and even a car and the reason why Vince says he quit paying her for the NDA thing was because blabbing about it so it was a violation to the contract and now she is wanting to get her money through sueing now why say that is because it maybe hard to understand but you with someone for 5 years then you love the relationship thus making it where she like it just as much until the money came to a halt both sides is fucked up but if dig deep into this story it's her's for accepting the luxurys and it's Vince's fault for taking advantage of her
