My longtime depression started to fade away since I’ve known you, Nahre. I am a Korean-American who has a daughter of your age and I am truly amazed by your talent, intelligence as well as flawless pure and beautiful personality. I am grateful even to your mom for her marvelous job raising you. Please tell her I admire her so much. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and making my days better. I'm crying 😭. As a self-taught piano player, this is gold to me! I've been always wanted to understand the relationship between chords and scales and how to practice them. I couldn't thank you enough Nahre.
I don’t know why, but it sounds French. Maybe the chord grid reminds me of Michel Legrand in his jazzy, aerial flights. Anyway, it’s very nice and interesting. Thanks Nahre !
Sounds like a soundtrack to the beginning of some romantic/dramatic movie from the 60's with Cary Grant & Grace Kelly (Yeah I'm old). Credit roll. Day. Ext. Cary Grant & Grace Kelly are sitting in a red sportscar as Kelly turns to Grant: K: Darling, it's so nice to get away from it all, just the two of us. G: Planned some surprises. I hope they will be as pleasant as I imagined. K: Aw. You know how I love surprises... This is where the lovely music suddenly fades and a more ominous soundtrack begins.
I picture in my head: a small group of young friends riding their bikes down the paved road , perfect sunny overcast skies with a cool breeze. They greet their neighbourhood folk- Mr and Mrs Smith, they always offer us scrumptious home made treats. oh and look there, that's aunt Helen! She always greets us with a warm, tender loving smile as they whiz on by, the group of kids' parents call them back. It's their last ride for the season. The following day was unknowingly their last day of freedom as the whole country was to be on strict lockdown, but they're just children, they do as theyre told by their parents. hey nice chords :)
Bossa nova is the best music to relax. Its harmony, rhythm and soft dissonance make it suitable for rest and its chords transport the listener to a different world within the musical spectrum. I listen almost only bossa and clasical.
You make me feel better than ok Nahre. Being quarantined with you would be a privilege (never could have imagined I'd say these words)! Well, at least we have RUclips to keep us connected. Keep the dream alive -- there is a new and better world on the horizon!
It's really admirable how much time and effort goes into your content. Just the editing for this one video must have taken ages. I understand that it's pretty much your job, as your free content is kind of a preview of your Patreon stuff, hoping to get new patrons, but it's still very nice to see someone take so much pride in their work. (Even with that point in mind, I've never ever seen you do any kind of bait-and-switch with your viewers; very respectable.) You're channel is one that I point to often when someone is looking for good educational (or simply fun) content. I appreciate you putting videos like these out into the world~
Thank you ! I had to watch this twice because I didn't notice the bottom left of the screen " skipping with skates on " etc, powerful and imaginative..
Ugh this music reminds me of the first Sims soundtrack, it's so chill and happy and you just want to drink a cool drink and look at digital people having a good time in the house that you built them.
Oh my.. I could listen to this endlessly. The major and minor 7 chords with a decending motion, the constant modulation between minor and major, not to mention your melody is gorgeous. Thanks for this feel good piece, I really love it.
I watched this when it came out. Just didn't click. Today, watched again, randomly. Sat down at the piano and worked out the first section in 30 minutes starting on C and then starting on C#. Thanks Nahre! I'm going to be improvising all night! :) Now I want to figure out a nice way to play it while ascending instead of descending.
I want to communicate something but can't find the words. But I will settle to say, you are a priceless asset to the music community. Appreciate your value.
I never thought of thinking of it as a ii°7 instead of a bVI°7(V7b9). This actually opens up the piano and guitar even more visually. I'm sure this could apply to other instruments too.
I just wanted to let you know- this composition kept me going during my darkest times- that everything will be okay. It will be really nice if you could release this as a singular track.
Hi there! I just wanted to say that you are a big influence on my playing, if i feel hopeless with a peice i will come to your channel and i will get back to it! Thank you!
This is like my second comment ever, and there is no shortage of praise in the comments for this video, but I had to say that I love this. Thank you. the information, the nice gradual increase of difficulty for all players (I know I will be spending my months of quarantine in hopes of eventually playing most of the intermediate portion, badly), the second section of the video filled with tips and detailing out the chord progression, and of course the music itself sort of gives me a nostalgia for some of my best memories. I didn't think I was particularly stressed about anything until I felt the release of it watching this video. Thank you again, and stay safe youtube comment section
Right at the opening, I was thinking "That's like Oscar Peterson playing bossa nova." And indeed it was! I'm not a pianist, but as a guitarist who loves bossa nova, there's definitely musical nourishment for me here. And Nahre, you're right that it's uplifting-just what we need! Thank you! -Tom
Your videos really inspire me as a self taught pianist not to give up on melody ideas for songs I try to write. Thank you for this amazing and absolutely beautiful music 💛
Wired brought me to this incredible musician. Just spellbound by your musical knowledge and talent. Your music has inspired me to start composing and sit down with my piano. Thank you Nahre
wish she was my mentor, great pianist, great vibe and extremely talented! I would love to sit down with her and just talk to her about piano even though i’m an absolute beginner and I live in the UK
I started watching and I slowly just drifted away, then found myself just staring at nothing, the song lulling me into a relaxed stupor. Not what I thought would happen but, I guess that's the Nahre Sol Magic for me...
Hi Nahre, I'm a rock guitarist/songwriter and beginner pianist, I absolutely adore and appreciate listening to your music and tutorials. Glad I found you and what a surprise it was to see you on Rick Beatos channel as well!!
I like the format of this video. Gets right to the point but poses an interesting challenge. This made it really easy to reach for the guitar and just start playing along.

So nice and relaxing. I needed something fun and soothing to practice with my daughter. Jumped on your store and bought the pdf before i hit the 1 minute mark. 😊
This is really great! Thank you. A lot of your stuff is beautiful but hard to achieve. The creation of a lesson with different levels to it is an incredible improvement, especially in this time when we're all stuck in the house!
It reminds me Disney Pixar movies mixed with Nintendo video games and those nineteen forties and fifties intro music that was used in a lot of film adaptations of musicals. Great job.
It seems like everyone hearing the music in this video senses one of the favorite experiences in the past regardless of ages or nationalities, which is the proof that Nahre is a great artist. Please, Nahre, make more music so that more people can be happier.
Naher - You Are so Inspiring and amazing. im a pianist and an aspiring composer - and your work makes me ao curios about music and makes me want to lear music deeper and deeper. Thank You!

I'm just in awe of people who can improvise like this.
Everything about this video is so aesthetically pleasing.
After a hectic day its uplifting to watch you play complex chord in the most skillful way
