Does Kylie know of anyone in TX that can help because I have a case like that? I was ordered supervised visitation since I did not show up to the hearing because I did NOT KNOW about it. Opposing counsel mailed the 10-day notice to a non-existent address & by the time the postal service figured out where it was ACTUALLY supposed to go, hearing date had come & gone. I went from being primary custodian since the day she was born ➡️ 4.5 years old to supervised visitation with a now custodial parent who refuses to communicate - initiating nor responding by any means at all. It goes on from there however I won't go on & on here. Suffice to say I have not heard anything from him in 2 years.
When you have an abusive narcissist father from the time you are about 8 years old until your 16 and physically violent towards your mother also I think he should be alienated.
That's not alienation, that's estrangement. Alienation is when a parent manipulates the child to believe their parent is dangerous or does not love them *in the absence of abuse*.
Signs a child has been alienated: 1. Shows dislike for one parent for weak reasons. A parent can make a few bad choices without being all bad. 2. Lack of ambivalence (having mixed feelings, both good and bad)...generally most parents have good and bad aspects. In alienation, child sees one parent as all good and one as all bad. 3. Automatically chooses one parent without any thought. 4. Child echos words and sentiments from their favorite parents. 5. Child believes their dislike for one parent is totally their own independent decision. But favorite parent has been trashing the other parent, so the child is not really having their own thoughts. 6. Not only does the child not want to visit one parent but they also don't want to see any of that parents extended family.
I have some general questions for Kylie. I already have representation but I'd like get her opinion. Is there an easier way to reach out?
Alienation is psychological grooming that occurs over rime and often long before divorce.

Some.spouses alienate for years so that when and if they want to leave, the kids will more likely side with them against the other.
