I'm from ND and lived in Bismarck for a few years in the 90s. It is a nice city, but you have to be aware of the climate. It can be very hot in the summer, and winter can be severe. Yes, the wind blows most of the time. Bismarck is a growing city and has plenty to offer, as this video points out.
@@Rubiey-gw5dv The climate can be in extremes. Very cold in Winter and of course lots of snow. Below zero temps for weeks. Very hot in Summer, even with some humidity. Can be in the hundreds. But there are some comfortable days at times too. Nope, no high altitudes in ND. It's mostly prairie.

I’ve never been to ND and I would like to visit there. I’m from SC originally and lost my home to a fire and now I live in southern Ohio so hopefully when it’s not cold out I can visit a bunch of places this summer.
There has been so much change in Bismarck, it has expanded so much more then this . Many stores have closed, crime rate is up but for the most people are friendly and welcoming . The wind blows a lot, I mean a lot and can blow up to 60 miles an hour and on a hot or cold day ,well , you'd have to be here . Quite a few of homeless people 😦. Not nearly as much farming and trucking as prices of gas, food ,well, everything is going up. I which it was laid back like it used to be . It is 2022 now , Biden is president . Everything seems to be getting worse here .It is much better then a lot of cities for families but personally I think it used to be healthier and safer years ago . God bless everybody 🙏
I guess you don't want to mention the German heritage side. Is there still a local German language newspaper? What about the Hamburger heritage, another German in origin thing? Ah well...
Water mainly comes from the Missouri river which starts in Montana and passes through town. There are several coal fired, and wind towers providing plenty of electricity. Cost is about 12 cents per KWH.
