I don't believe Rob made that Whopper joke but nobody at any point turned to Lee and said "it wasn't that big, Mack" or something
The thing is, its normally Lee who would immediately come up with something like this and it wouldnt really work if he made the joke himself this time.

I get the impression Jo Brand found that more impressive than winning a gold medal.
It's obviously true. Whenever a woman on the show reads anything sexual or to do with underwear or bras, it's *ALWAYS* true. The producers won't put anything like that on a female card unless they've been told it's a true story.
I've watched so many of these clips but never really got the background on how the show works - so the comedians write the truths and the producers write the lies? Do the comedians know what their lies will be in advance?
@@ronanmcintyre The panalists do not see the cards before the recording, if it is to be a truth the person would know of the story as it would have been taken from a previous interview but may have been retrieved from the Edit, so may not have been public knowledge. If they are to lie it just gives the headline and lie is printed underneath it and true if they are to tell the true story.
@@tonys1636 I'm sure when the guests are invited on they are told to send in a couple of true stories/anecdotes that can be used in the show.
@@TheTruthKiwi it's TV, all of the panelists, or at least the guest stars know what their lies are and what their truths are, 90% of reality TV, especially game shows are all scripted.
@@sheikhtahmid7799 Yup, totally agree. Talk shows have rehearsals and all the questions are organised beforehand, "reality" shows are scripted and planned.
A friend was on Big Brother years ago. They obviously just record the housemates but the producers steered the guests through activities and edited the f out of the footage to create drama and manipulate the outcome. He couldn't believe how much the footage was manipulated.
Basically, take all media with a grain of salt and question its legitimacy.

And if you're drunk, like Olympic Gold celebration level drunk, then why not stash your McDonalds cheeseburger on the walk back to your flat ? Seems eminently practical to me...
And as for waking up two days later... when I went away to college, right after my first morning of orientation, I went to a bar suggested by one of my friends... he said "Jack, I know this place called Dolan's Landing... Landing... landing..." ...and woke up two weeks later, all my money ($2000) was gone and everybody in town knew my name...
Not to mention our own dignity!
I had a girlfriend once who kept her credit card, Oyster card etc tucked in hers. Saved her having to carry a purse around but caused a few odd glances when, in a restaurant or something, someone said "and how would you like to pay" and she shoved her hand inside her top to pull the card out

A lot of people find that greasy food is just right when they're hungover. If she'd been partying for two days, I imagine "this will hit the spot" took precedence over "this is kind of gross."

I feel like they kind of don't care, it's more about a bunch of funny/interesting people hanging out and being entertaining. I also think there's way more show than what they put out on television, they do like three or four questions and it's over, but no way that's the whole episode.
It's a panel show, not a quiz show, the purpose is to be entertaining; not to win points.
