I walked away from the organisation 3yrs ago after 30yrs of service to men as a MS and then an Elder.
For the past 6 months I’ve been attending your Memorial Zoom meetings at 5pm on the first Sunday here in England.
On those Zoom meetings it’s impossible not to notice Wendy, a beautiful soul in Christ.
The video was great, and I couldn’t be happier for you both.

Everyone is so grateful to be a part of this worship platform (NOT RELIGION) where we can study the bible online and receive the bread and wine and sometimes meet together. All you need to do is meet Wendy to realize how intellectually brilliant she is but yet meek and like a spoonful of honey that is sweet and has a complex flavor that make you want to sit down like an old friend and catch up with all that is old and what is to come. I am very glad to have met both Eric and Wendy and can't wait to see them again.

In this dark world Gods light shines we are drawn to his love and understanding by the beauty of his creation because for me whenever I feel weak and disheartened by the evil and start to think where are you I turn to look at his creation did not make this for nothing, and most importantly by his gift to us though his Son who willingly gave his life for any that will accept by repentance and doing their best to follow his example giving us a sure hope for a future full of love and his wonderful promises of a world where no darkness will ever try to overtake his light again, no more injustice no more cruelty all goodness freedom true freedom.

Lived in Botswana myself so greatly appreciated the reminders of Africa's beauty and its people and the varied paths that have led the children to their Father.

@@BeroeanVoices Hi Wendy I missed out on seeing the Okavango but I did visit and stay over night at the village of Maun which is the gateway to the Okavango. I did camp along the bank of river Chobe where Richard Burton and Liz Taylor spent their honeymoon. At night it was common for hippo's and elephants to. wonder through the camp site at night. I woke up one night, popped my head out to find a bull elephant parked outside my tent. The elephants never touched the tents as long as you stayed inside. Along the Chobe itself saw Fish Eagles and Bee eaters along the banks and a few crocks. In the village itself lions often wondered through the middle like pussy cats so you had to be on your guard. I have seen Victoria Falls from both the Zimbabwe and Zambian side, very beautiful!
Being nearby I visited South Africa and Zimbabwe often, Durban, Cape Town etc very beautiful. Felt sorry for the Malawi brothers who fled to Botswana because of the persecution only to have their passports taken off them thus unable to go back home, also the San tribe were looked down upon by the main tribe and hence looked in a sorry state. The north of Botswana contains not only the Okavango and Chobe park but also the largest salt pans in the world with diamond mines located in the middle and lower parts of the country. The paws of a Kalahari lion are enormous! I dont know if you have ever seen the movies 'The Gods must be crazy' 1&2 they are a must see and very funny!

It is really clear to see now that it is only the holy spirit that makes us righteous when we put faith in Christ! Those who put faith in men, and the organizations of false doctrine are not righteous because they do not follow Christ as the way and the truth and the life!

Being together in Christ is beautifully described by Paul at 1 Corinthians 3:16,17, "Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple." Much love to you all!
Where do I even start to describe this beautiful soul? Wendy, you are way beyond being an inspiration. The love and light you offer the world is so beautiful, it is your true calling to be a beacon of light. Children of God no longer need to feel lost in the shadows. My adoration for that kind of brilliance is what I needed to pull me up.
And now I can see my responsibilities more clearly. We are one body. And I am and forever will be eternally grateful to God and to Jesus for directing my steps with the path that led me to my sister, my friend, my family. Thank you for all that you do. ❤

So nice to learn more about Wendy, the pictures were beautiful...what an amazing planet we live on. I'm so thankful to Eric and Wendy for all they have done to expose the JW religion and to show the truth of the scriptures. I was a JW for 15 years, I left of my own choosing, however, their teachings stayed with me for the 25 years since leaving and caused me to feel guilt, shame, unworthy and unloved by God. It is through finding Beroean Pickets that I am becoming unburdened from the false teachings and it has made such a massive difference in my life and relationship with God and Jesus. Thank you both so much for all your work, it is life changing. P.S. It seems Wendy has discovered the fountain of youth!

We feel such happiness....that overflowing thanksgiving as the apostle Paul puts it. Hello dear lovely Wendy. Wonderful to see you. What a fulfilling life you’ve had, wow! Beautiful parts of the world and at the same time surrounded by the beauty of our Heavenly Father’s creation. Yes, yes and yes love is what binds us completely and without it we are an empty shell. The fruitage of the spirit is completely based on love 💕 you can’t have one without the other . I been slowly healing and what has helped me is writing out my Scriptures on paper and making it a journal for my healing process. It has helped immensely. Also I can’t forget my reading the Bible together invitations to neighbours in Cornwall. It has been a difficult road but I feel very content in what I’m doing and that has given me peace. I’ve struggled with a lot of guilt when I was supposedly preaching the good news, but instead I preached lies and it has haunted me for a long time. I’m not forgetting how Eric’s videos have helped. It was a wonderful experience to let go. I’m so excited that you are writing a book and I can hardly wait to buy a copy. Thank you for your story as we all have one. 👍💕🤗🥰
In your healing remember that even Christ "learned obedience" through the things He suffered. So to with us. In trials we could have lost faith, as many do, but as Jesus said to Peter, "Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brothers." Lk 22:31

Dear Dace, I love how you put it! "A description of paradise already in this age." It is so true. What we share in the body of Christ is the unity in warmth and protection of the holy spirit. That reminds me of the scripture at 1 Cor 3:16,17 that says, "Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple." This is a living reality that we can experience together when we empty ourselves of self importance and pray to live our lives as Jesus did. (1 John 2:6) We can't wait to see you in a few weeks!! 💖

@@wendyatberoeanvoicesHi Wendy, I was born and raised a Catholic, went to Jesuit schools so I studied Greek literature and liked the story of his life. After dropping out of the JWs I told myself no more "organized" religion so I adopted his name for my quest for more truth. I happen to stumble upon Eric who helped me through his videos. I tried hard to shoot him down but I couldn't. There are honest hearted people out there. I especially liked his stand against the Trinity! He refused to bend. One thing though, I don't live in a ceramic jar I wouldn't fit. 😆

Wow, what an absolutely beautiful lovely person you are. So glad we got to meet you. I wish I could enjoy the love of the Christ the way you do. But if I accept that, I also have to accept his father who I feel is the antithesis of the Christ. And I have to believe the Bible that tells me about the love of the Christ and the evil of Jehovah. The contradictions are too strong to believe it’s inspired and truth. I do very much enjoy your husband’s programs, and I very much enjoyed meeting you. My love to both of you❤

The Apostle John taught that God is love 1 John 4:8. Jesus said, "but I will do what the Father requires of me, so that the world will know that I love the Father." John 14: 31
Jesus said that he is in his Father and his Father is in him: “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me. 11Just believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or at least believe because of the work you have seen me do. John 14:9-11
There are so many scriptures that point out the love of the Father in the Bible and especially in the words of Jesus in the New Testament. I am so sorry you are misinformed. You are missing out on a very beautiful reality! "God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love-not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins." 1 John 4:9,10

@@wendyatberoeanvoices thank you so much for responding to my comment. I do understand the Bible. I’ve been reading it for over 50 years. I know the Bible teaches that God is love. That is very evident. But the conduct of Jehovah is what makes me know he is the complete antithesis of the Christ. No one taught me that, I learned that by reading the Bible. The God of the Hebrew scriptures is disgusting to me. A child dies because the father commits adultery? Misbehaved children get torn apart by a bear because they run their mouth? Everyone, everyone except Noah and his family drown an horrific death in a flood? Jehovah lets Satan torture Job and allow him to murder his and his wives children? Uzzah tries to keep the ark from falling and is struck dead. The Achan incident, Israelite soldiers die . Saul goes into battle and is told to kill every living creature except the virgin girls.? Really. When I woke up to the truth about the truth, I thought I will just love Jehovah and Jesus, have my personal relationship with them and that’s all that is necessary. So I reread the Bible to lock that in. Reading it now without a witness mindset, made me actually see it for the first time, I truly appreciate and I’m glad you see it the way you do because I wish I could have that too. I wish you and your wonderful husband a beautiful life together and thank you for all you do.♥️

If we are living according to the spirit and not according to the flesh, then we will know the truth and the truth will set us free. "Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. 32And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31,32
Those children of God who attain to the glorious freedom of the children of God (Ro 8:21) will be with Christ. What does it matter whether we are in heaven or on earth? There are many scriptures, though, that state what and where we will be.

I have watched quite a few of your videos and in general I like them.
However, like videos made by many others, you talk about how the Holy Spirit led you to where you are.
I have a problem with that. There are many genuine people in JWs and other walks of life that want to know truth. Why does the Holy Spirit take so long to lead people to where they say they are? Why did the holy spirit leave you and them in a falsehood for so long or even until they die. None of this makes sense.
You and many others all talk about not having to be in a man made organization, which is true, but then you basically say that there are Christians meeting in random groups across the world.
The problem with that is the bible talks about congregations of people all connected. So all the individual congregations where spoken of as the one congregation of God. I don't see that anywhere, at least not in the true sense as in the first century.
Also, Jesus talked about the good news being preached across the whole earth "and then the end will come".
I don't see that happening with random groups of people.
I can't ever see myself as being an atheist again, but I don't look at the beauty of some of the things as this still doesn't prove God's existence, but the more practical side where evolution cannot possibly explain things like the development of the eye and its link to the brain, the development of two opposite but complementary sexual organs and it's production of new life where they would have to be complete to work in the first place. Only after that can you see appreciate that beauty.
I find people talking about how "they know the holy spirit led them" the same as the so-called anointed saying they know they are anointed by the spirit. It's all to easy to convince yourself but there's no positive proof.
The more I try to find what's true the more confusing it is. It's been about 2000 years. Why so long until the second coming and putting things right? What about all the suffering in the mean time?
Why does God leave genuine truth seekers in organizations like the Watchtower and others?
No one seems to have reasonable answers to this. I have gone off the whole thing. As for as I'm concerned, what happens happens. I'm not going to get involved with any of this any more. I may watch a few videos every now and again but that's as far as I go.
Can't really call myself a Christian as I sort of believe but not actively.
By the way. There is no specific term like the one you used "children of God" in the bible. There are individuals being described as children of God but not in the same way as you would use the term Christian. That was the designation decided upon back then. The same with the term "born again Christian". There is no such term. That's just as bad as using the term Jehovah's witnesses.
I would be careful using the term "children of god" without specifying the context is referring to being a child of God as an individual. I think it is mentioned twice in this video and it came across as a group. There is a cult called by that name and they have very serious child sex abuse issues, worse than any of the others.

You have an entire laundry list of questions! That's great! But realistically they cannot be expected to answer all of these on a RUclips video. Some of the questions answers are quite deep.
May I suggest you come to one of the zoom meetings and get a feel for this group of bible students. We can also make break-out rooms to discuss questions, so as to not take away from the study of the day. You can also just attend anonimously, it's a public setting.

I am a former JW for 30 years spent within. Sorry to say that this speech reminds me exactly of what I've been listening then. Like a wife of the travelling highly ranked JW. Maybe you will take this as a negativity but I truly think so and never got any kind of help from Beroean. Totally disappointed!!!
I'm trying to remember, in my 40 years as an elder, anytime a wife of any travelling overseer got to stand on the platform and give a talk.

@elainebraindrain3174 - The terms Children of God are the anointed spirit begotten children of God. These are Biblical terms, those who have been chosen by God to be adopted back into his family. There are many cults out there that take Biblical terms and identify themselves by them, such as Jehovah's Witnesses. We expect that from Satan.

But the real cult leader of Jehovah's Witnesses was J.F. Rutherford. He gave Jehovah's Witnesses their name in 1931. All cults have a human leader, but this channel Beroean Voices renounces all leaders of religion. The only leader for Christians, who are all children of God according to scripture, is Jesus Christ. He is the only head of the Christian congregations. Col 1:18 makes it very clear: Christ is also the head of the assembly [of called out ones called holy ones in Greek], which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything." We also see in Matthew 23:10 this expression: "And do not be called leaders; for only One is your Leader, that is, Christ." Matthew 23:10.
Elaine, it is organized religions that are created by men and women. The point of this channel is to provide a place for all who have left following organized religions and now only follow Christ, the way that the Bible teaches, to express their faith and love. Christ is the only way to God. The Apostle Paul taught that all divisions and sects are works of the flesh (Ga 5:20), not works of the spirit. Paul said that "anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the kingdom of God." So we can recognize that following leaders of men will not grant us the promises of our heavenly Father.
Of course having a RUclips channel to share biblical expressions is not the same as setting up a religion with rules that are not in the Bible. It is only in being freed of the spirit of the world that we can be moved by and led by God's Spirit, the holy spirit. The Bible says that all who are led by God's Spirit are children of God. Romans 8:14 in the KJV puts it this way: "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." Other Bible translations puts it this way: "For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God." To be sons of God is synonymous with being "children of of God" depending on translation bias.

The men of the Watchtower Corporation (JWorg.) have been setting times of Jesus's return right back to the late 1800's and using the false theology of Pyramidology to do so, selling these teachings in books and magazines. $$$
When people go directly against Jesus's own words when he said no one knows of the time not even he. You better take careful scrutiny to what these people are doing and why to keep yourself in adherence of being a true righteous Christian.
The real intent was always about certain men of the WTS such as Presidents and GB members to circumvent wanting power and control toward themselves, there was also a vast amount of money coming into their hands which they used to their fullest capability including health and dental care, food and lodging, cars with insurance and now days swimming pools and tennis courts, just to name some of the perks.
This is also the reason why those at the top of the organization will continue to lie and deceive, its really about themselves and a drive to sustain what they personally have and are receiving.
