I’ve decided to take my extra time during quarantine to learn the piano and oh man I am having a tough time so far. I’ve just learned how to read bass cleft (only ever played trumpet previous to this) and have started learning how to play with both hands at once. It’s definitely challenging but I’m really enjoying it and it’s nice not having to control my tone for once lol. I’m hoping I’ll be able to start learning this soon but I’m a little intimidated, not gonna lie

My brain always likes to synch both my hands at the same time. It's weird because rather then compliment one another, they act as if they're doing the same thing. I can't seem to get out of this habit which makes the 3/2 sequence near impossible for me at the moment.
Thanks so much for the great tutorial! I was wondering if you had any tips on relieving tension on the right hand from playing the octave. I find my wrist hurts after playing for a min or so. Also my hands are tiny!
You're welcome! 1) Make sure you stretch your arms/wrist before and after playing. 2) Make sure your posture is comfortable and relaxed: seated not too close to the keys, back straight, shoulders are down and relaxed, forearms/wrists/hands level, wrist flexible and relaxed - not tight and locked, and hands/fingers rounded. 3) It could be carpal tunnel that you're experiencing - look up stretches/exercises online or consult a physical therapist if possible. Don't push through the pain - it could lead to further injury! Good luck, and I hope this helps!
Hey, i like this video and also the song, could you please do a Video with patience- take That i also Love this Song and my family wants to hear it, That would be nice 🤩
Hey thanks so much for the tutorial. One of my first songs and I’ve learned the whole thing but I’m just unsure how to use the sustain pedal. If I just hold it it doesn’t sound right. And if I don’t use it, the song sounds rushed. Any tips?

Not uncommon at all. Gotta try it super slow, and work on "muscle memorizing" each hand independently.
@@HDpiano I'll keep working at that, thank you!
