Hi everyone,
I’m happy to repost a video I’ve created about 3 and a half years ago, but because it was in Romanian a lot of you didn’t understand it. It is still actual and with this occasion I think you see how my style evolved or changed.
True story:
On 30th June 2016 I went do a private client in Palma de Mallorca at her private residence. There were no direct flights at that time so I had a stop in Barcelona.
It was my very first time traveling with my 20kg makeup kit and I was a bit nervous.
When I got to Palma my luggage didn’t come. Till this day I never received my luggage. The company I was traveling with never told me what happened with my luggage, they said most likely it got stolen.
I’ve lost 20kg of makeup! My whole kit, all my brushes all my work.
I thought I lost my life.
I didn’t tell anybody at first as I was afraid my clients wouldn’t hire me because I had no material to work with.
After this horrible incident out of nowhere I was hired by a company in the US to do an ad for a bank, I was supposed to do the makeup for 12 actors, each of them were different ethnicity.
I borrowed some money and as soon as I landed in the US I bought new brushes, powders, and neutral eyeshadow palettes from MAC, cause they give 40% off for artists, foundations from Maybelline, etc. Everything I made from that job, I spent on a small kit that would allow me to keep on working.
The job went great, I got back home and the jobs just kept on coming.
The reason why I’m sharing this is to tell you that sometimes it feels like the world is falling apart. And I’m here to tell you that no matter the situation you’re in, you can do it. Nothing is permanent! You can get through everything ! Just trust the process! Believe in God, the source of energy, whatever you wanna call it but believe !!
We’re all too little people who share our struggles nowadays and far too many who share the success only.

I have the exact color of eyes that she has. Same skin tone ( although not as flawless as hers) I watched a tutorial using the soft Violet eyeshadows with the smoky look.
It was really pretty. I'm going to try that. I used to use green eyeshadows... Not really the right color for green eyes. I'm loving these tutorials ❣️

Stacy B surprisingly, I’ve seen the most beautiful women look in the mirror and say “ugh”! So you’re not alone. BTW, I do too. lol But makeup helps. This woman was flawless without any.
That model doesn’t need any makeup! You have to try someone ordinary😆
I was thinking the same thing. Wish RUclips makeup artists would use models who do not have perfect skin. And older models too. Make it more realistic.
@@bingm8109 unfortunately being from Romania myself I can tell you that indeed we have astonishingly beautiful women like this model, lots of them!))) So this is in fact not so cherry picked as it seems. Myself on the other hand I'm not that beautiful - one of the reasons I've moved to UK)))

Honestly, you can't improve on perfection, the girl is absolutely gorgeous and doesn't need anything. This makeup is basically just enhancing what is already there, but not needed.
Even though I don't wear makeup, purely came for the model.. I'm a sucker for really dark hair, green eyes and fair skin

Dear Andreea, I loved the makeup as always, but I also loved the story. Last year I had a similar situation, so I am surprised you sharing yours. I don't know how I started watching your videos, but from that moment on, I have seen them all, and be more interested in makeup - I have learned so much, thanks! I liked it before and had my small kit, but every time I wanted to buy something new, I felt overwhelmed by the number of options, I had no idea where to start. Now, thanks to you I know what I should look for and how to use it. That is why on a working trip to Paris (you don't find all these products/brands in Argentina) I had my "wish list" and I was ready to invest in what now I knew I needed. I bought my items, I was so happy!, and by the time I had to take another plane, the security check retains them in Orly Airport. All things were less than 100ml, and although they were not a lot, they didn't fit in a tiny plastic bag they gave me. Without further ask, they through them into the bin, and claimed they couldn't fetch them back as it was now in the garbage.. the whole experience was awful and I felt mistreated and so stressed, sad, angry, you name it... I still am, after all, that was my little treasure! But, yes... shit happends.. and we just have to keep going... And at the end is as you say.. it is not about the product, but the technic. Thanks for sharing your art!
Beautiful makeup on a gorgeous lady! I loved your story in the description box, very true that we all have moments when we think everything is lost but I deeply believe in my heart that "every obstacle is a detour in the right direction"...at least, it was so all my life. I am 58 but who's counting....
Romanians are so beautiful and this young lady has a stunning feature in every way. It doesn't matter if we normal people don't have what she has, it's so fun to watch you transforming her without overly too much makeup.

edit! my headphones weren't on so I didn't hear most of the video but I read the description. I'm glad you can look back and see you've made thru some rough times. nothing horrible ever lasts but neither does things that bring us joy. so we must appreciate them when they're happening. I'm not religious but I believe things are things and never take for granted our own health as well as our loved ones. THAT is what truly matters.
