I was quite impressed with the double driveways and fountains leading up to the mausoleum. A lot of planning must have gone in to consider parking for the hearse and grieving guests. By choosing a requiem as part of this video additionally adds to the respect for the departed. I wish I had enough money to afford a crypt in such an elegant, secluded and manicured place.

even the outside was overdone to my taste... But you'll find this is very common with people from Europe and other country's,especially India. they have a lotta stuff and want every detail available in their homes. I've seen home with so much details they've actually gotten me dizzy!! too much to look at and take in

I can see why is is Great Gatsby inspired. Gatsby desperately wanted to impress Daisy by aping the life style of the 400. However hard he tried, he was always not quite there. Like many before and since, he made the mistake of thinking that going a step further meant he was better than the original, so his rooms were bigger, his gold a bit more blingy, his parties a bit more brash. Result, he did not impress. The designer of this monstrosity seems to think that more, more, more is better, better, better. Instead of class, they have crass!

The other day I looked up the most expensive homes for sale in my city. Waterfront mansions. Some had the most HIDEOUS interiors. I couldn't believe it. If you have money you really should hire someone with tastes if you ever want to resell your property. I saw one house with a red kitchen and red wine cellar. Nobody does a kitchen in red! lol

This Great Gatpsy inspired Mansion is Astonishingly fabulous.
Way toooooo many different stone patterns mixed together. I felt claustrophobic in most of the interior spaces because of all the different patterns and colors of stone. The interior started to give me a headache. I could not watch it all.
I agree. It was too much visual stimulation. I couldn't just chill out in a room with so much going on.

I think it a good practice if the inside is very elaborate and flashy then the outside and gardens should be plain or vice versa but both the inside and outside should not be flashy and elaborate as is this place!
U can always expect hate in the comment section. Beauty cannot be judged objectively, for what one person finds beautiful or admirable may not appeal to another.

Bad taste for interior decoration, but the external view (of the mansion, the gardens etc) are in perfect harmony, it was spectacular.

At first I thought "Wow, what must it be like to live there. . .?" Until they showed the interior. Who wants to spend $100M on a home that you'd have to then spend ANOTHER $200M gutting and renovating because the interior is so overdone?
