I like the fast nature of the gameplay with no base running, but sometimes the base running is very entertaining. It’s less one dimensional and repetitive.
Mlb the show is so far ahead of any other sports games. All the little things you can change or edit to make your experience what you want is so good. The fact that you can choose if the umpire will be exact or be shitty sometimes is incredible.
Don't regret it. Mlb the show 20 is the same exact game lol 21 just has updated rosters like what madden does. Save your money...I feel ripped off paying for it early lmfao Believe that. RIPPED OFF. No new animations....no new celebrations....no new equipment....no new anything except rosters. Lol. What a damn joke
What comes to that "get through this quicker" dont ya dare to try speedrunnning the series you were most anticipating till this point. There will be no new releases till fall so take your time. If you dont then dont complaing about not having things to play.
I think you should turn action pitches on for baserunning, but just edit out any Ks and walks. Just show us any hits, steals, so on. With just hitting and fielding, we might only be getting games that go a couple min. Not all positions get the same amount of fielding action as others. It could also help your stats. You get bumps to speed, stealing, aggression by running the bases yourself. Also, can get your team more runs. Personally, I have scored runs on hits I know the cpu would never advance from third on.
I'm European, not a gamer, knowing nothing about sports, but am I gonna watch this? Like a Netflix series, man. Maybe by the end of it, I'll even get what baseball is about.
