No its Russia not give out official numbers from 2022 so nobody know exactly what is what in Russia, They can say what ever they want so all economic Organisations are forced to use the numbers Russia claim. But these numbers they produce are clearly not correct if compared with intrest rate, Inflation and drop of valueof Ruble. The standard to be a high payed country is around 1000 usd a month before taxes (its a average they take) Yes Russia rise to this level but compared to most high income country its very very low. As exampel germany average have 4000 usd. So take Russian claimes with lots of salt!!!

Before the start of the war in 2022, the so-called "cash savings fund" was created in Russia, which was created on the initiative of Kudrin, the Minister of Economy during Yeltsin's time - that is, in the good times of Russia, when oil and gas prices were a huge part of the income so invested in this in the fund, if money is needed, if there are economic difficulties - the amount, as far as I remember, was over 300 billion US dollars. By introducing sanctions against Russia, Russia began to use these funds to invest in the military industry - not so much in technology as in replenishment of poor ammunition stocks + repairs and production of tanks and everything else. According to Russian economists who have escaped from Russia and live abroad, the money left in this fund could be a maximum of 25% of what it was - that's why even by throwing money from this fund into the military industry, even under the influence of sanctions, the Russian economy allegedly showed that it has a rising GDP. The fund will be empty in 2025, and therefore taxes will be raised rapidly in Russia in the next year's budget and spending on social assistance, as well as health and education sectors will be reduced. The military sector is also starting to stagnate and no longer shows the same growth as it did a year ago, because the capacity of the Russian military industry has been exhausted. Russia's 2025 budget is planned in such a way that it must be able to sell oil whose price on the world market is over 70 US dollars per barrel, but Gazprom is currently working with huge losses and is even asking for state aid to make ends meet.

Weren't the same "economist" told us before that senctions would 'tripple' russia's economy, 3 years has been a long run but nothing, and we expected to believe that again. The joke is on you. Deficit should be looked in the context of credit rating. A high credit rating country can run deficit because it does not have to pay high interest rates. A low credit rating country has to pay a lot higher interest rates if it were to run on deficit. This is why neither Russia nor India can raise their deficits because their credit rating is poor. No one wants to give money to poor person with poor credit history. The poorest has zero deficit because he is essentially a beggar.
