For those wondering why you don’t have the add card option, top right, it’s because you do not have Face ID enabled. It has to be enabled at all times to use Apple Pay. You’re welcome!
Anyone who DOESNT have the plus button, make sure your region is set correctly. To do this go to Settings, General, Language and Region and now change your region to where you live ☺️
I just used your tutorial to add my card to Apple Pay and I received a text with the six digit code but it didn’t ask for it it just automatically went through do I need to do something else or is it going to work automatically? Thank you for your help
Hi Diane - The reason that happened is the phone number they use for verification is the one you're adding the card on, so they removed the step of you having to type that in. Glad it worked for you. Happy Apple=Paying!
I added a credit card to my iPhone 7 I bought second hand from Facebook it was fully factory reset I set everything up but when I added the card it sent a verification to another gmail that wasn’t mine so I said verify another way now I have to call the bank just to verify it :^
After opening the "wallet" and pushing the "+" at the top, a pop-up opens instead of the page you face after pushing "+" so I cannot add card.😔😔 Do I need to install a kind of wallet application on my phone to do that? If yes, what application exactly?
Figured it out 😀 If anyone else has the same problem. Go to settings and change your country to England, USA or anywhere that allows Apple Pay to work. Good luck :)
@First name Last name You'll need to contact them, as they need to make sure you are who you say you are, and that someone isn't just trying to add a card to a random phone.
Unfortunately, many banks use 3rd party processors, and even though you may be the account holder, you might not have answered the security questions in "just the right way" and they'll decline you being able to add. It's best to just try again. Sorry.
