Buffalonian here. Words can't describe what he has done for the city. I have been a bills fan for 40 years and he has changed it all. Great reaction guys, you should come down to Buffalo for a game. So much fun. Cheers!
I'm from Rochester and agree that Josh Allen has changed Buffalo and all of Western New York for the better. I lived through the late 80s and early 90s Super Bowl runs and it hurt bad. Josh and the rest of this Buffalo Bills team have given immense hope to millions and millions of devoted fans! Go Bills.
I grew up and live in Buffalo, but I've been to Firebaugh once on a work trip, 100% confirmed everything good I thought about Josh. "Grow where you're planted" is such a Buffalo thing, so glad our guy was raised RIGHT
"How can you call him overrated?" Aidan, thank you. People forget that Mahomes inherited a playoff team. Allen had to build his. They voted him overrated, and now he is 1 of 4 quarterbacks left. Go Bills.
Us Bills fans from the Buffalo area have waited decades for Josh. He has revitalized the team, western NY and the football world !! I didn’t realize many British people followed American football. This is awesome to see !!
If you haven't seen the videos of Josh jumping over defenders-- especially Anthony Barr of the Vikings several years ago-- or his unbelievable across-the-body throws while flying out of bounds, or his fumble/recovery and push through the defense to pick up a 1st down against the Cowboys, definitely check them out. Glad to see our friends across the pond showing him some love. Bills Mafia loves you!
Thanks guys! Bills Mafia here and we are hoping Josh wins the MVP which he soo deserves and praying this is our year to take home the Lombardi trophy and have a parade for the first time ever here in Buffalo!! If we win you better come to town and enjoy it with us!!
Come see a game next season in Buffalo! Cheap game tickets and cheap flights from Manchester to Toronto! Get there early, tailgate experience is added part of experience! Cheers!
Colleges don't get anything from the NFL when a player goes to the league. The only thing that the colleges get for having a player go to the league is that player bringing recognition to the school.
The biggest difference between Josh and the mess of QBs the Bills went through since Jim Kelly retired is his attitude. Not only is his absurdly physically gifted, he LOVES playing in Buffalo, and the Bills Mafia loves him all the more for it.
As of the end of this regular season Josh is rewriting the record books for the Bills and the NFL. In his 7th season, and 28 years old, if Allen plays only 10 more years, he is on pace to finish 3rd all time in the NFL rushing TDs and somewhere between 6th and 8th all time in passing TDs. Insanity. If Josh plays into his 40s like Brady, Manning, and Rodgers, he would almost certainly finish 1st all time in total TDs by a wide margin surpassing Tom Brady's 677 TDs across 23 years. Josh at his current career pace would hit 861 TDs over 23 seasons for comparison. Even allowing for diminished skills late in his career if he played that long he still would likely finish with around 775-800. List of some milestones Josh achieved in 2024 pulled from the Bills team site. - Became the first player in NFL history with 5 straight 40+ total TD seasons. - Became the first QB in NFL history with 6+ rushing TDs in 7 consecutive seasons. - Now has the most wins (76), total TDs (262) & total yards (30,595) by any player all-time in their first 7 seasons. - Became the first QB in NFL history with a passing, rushing & receiving TD in a single game. - Set a franchise record for total TDs (262), surpassing Jim Kelly (244). - Became the first QB in NFL history to record multiple pass TDs, multiple rush TDs, 350+ passing yards & 60+ rushing yards in the same game (including playoffs) - Became the first player all-time with at least two TD passes & two rushing TDs in consecutive games. Also became the first player all-time with three such games in a season. - Tied Thurman Thomas (65) for the most rushing TDs in franchise history.
Of all the stats and records he's broken.. the fact that he's only 28 and has already out paced HOF QB Jim Kelly in passing yards AND ALSO HOF RB THURMAN THOMAS in Rushing TDs?!? Absolutely insane. We are watching history being written every week he takes the field and after that win over the Ravens in the divisonal. He just may win it all this year.
From a lifelong Buffalonian, cheers guys. Great reaction. Josh Allen means everything here, from what he's done for our city to how he performs on the field. And he's marrying a damn movie star. We joke and call him our "Lord and savior", but I've got a tell you, I'm only kind of joking when I say it 😅
Hello boys. I'm a life long Bills fan. We're very happy to have Allen. Warner was a guy that took the very long route. He's worth looking into. Allen still has a story to tell. Here's how you know you're getting old. I graduated highschool a month to the day after he was born. It also happened to be a day after my own 18th birthday.
3:40 When I started high school I was 6'2 135lbs. Started varsity freshman year at that size. Heaviest I got in high school was 195, but I still got D1 offers at both QB and FS.
Classic "Diamond In The Rough" scenario. He's the kind of team captain that leads by example, sacrifices himself on the field, and elevates the play of everyone around him. That's why I say he'd have at least one SB ring, if not two, by now if he had been drafted by a franchise with a winning history and culture like Green Bay or Pittsburgh.
15:13 College don't receive anything upfront from the league when players are drafted. They are able to use the fact that the players develop at their schools as a Resume/CV for future recruits. Also if the student enjoyed their time at the school, they often times return to finish their degree later on and contribute to the school's endowment.
As a Bills fan, I wish Josh had a Super Bowl under his belt. Maybe this is the year. With that being said, even though I am an American from NY, one of my all time favorite comedies is Mitchell and Webb. My question is, do Brits actually watch or like that show? Or is it like Foster's beer, where the vast majority of Australians don't actually drink or like it.
The University of Wyoming is located in Laramie WY. It is the highest elevation stadium in D1 football at 7200 ft. Going from Laramie to Buffalo was a perfect fit. Went to every one of his home games. Guy is a class act, a real deal human and deserving of everything he gets.
Relationships are developed between colleges and NFL execs, especially when a superstar passes through. It helps (the colleges) with recruiting and donations/endowments and the NFL gains a ton in merchandising, broadcasting etc. revenue. It’s all connected although they’ll both tell you they’re autonomous. It’s so very American😂❤
Hey Daz and Aidan, I was wondering if y'all are into Boxing and MMA. Doing some of those videos like the Joe Vincent ones or some fight highlights (the highlights is iffy cause there might be some copyright issues, check and see though) would be cool. Love the channel, guys💪🏾🔥
For the player poll where Josh was the most overrated player, it was only among about 100 anonymous players out of the over 2000 players in the league and he got 10 votes. Basically click/rage bait nonsense and not a real representation in league circles.
Just so you know, the "Josh Allen Rule" was proposed by the Kansas City Chiefs the year prior after Tom Brady's Patriots got the ball first and won in that season's AFC Championship. The Bills voted against it until it hurt them. Josh Allen is an incredible player and seeing him lead the Bills in breathtaking faceoffs against my Chiefs has been everything you hope for as a football fan. Saw a stat today that the Bills and Chiefs have 5 wins and 5 losses, 251 points for and 251 points against each other over the last few years. It's about as even as it can get for truly thrilling matchups. Only root against Josh and the Bills when they're playing against us. Other than that, they're really tough to dislike.
To answer your question about what the school gets it's nothing tangible. However in Josh's case he brought massive attention to the University of Wyoming. They figured it was the equivalent of about 40 million in free advertising. Plus helping recruits come to the school.
I recall another Bills quarterback named Jim Kelly. The former Miami Hurricane and 1981 Peach Bowl MVP led Buffalo to four Super Bowls, unfortunately losing all of them. They were an offensive powerhouse, utilizing the no-huddle shotgun formation. However, now at 61 and many seasons behind me it is a stout defense that usually wins Super Bowls. Well, that and the fact that they are cursed. One must be to lose four consecutive Super Bowls.
Allen has now completed 7 regular seasons in the NFL. He has the most TD's in history for a players first 100 games. He is the first player in history to score 40+ TD's in four straight seasons...this seaon he made it 5 straight. His playoff numbers are actually better. So he plays up. Sunday's game against the Ravens was mote game plan. Zed turnovers.
So we could hypothetically get all the homeless people/others in need and store them in a few college stadiums and then call for demo teams? Solves a bunch of problems all in one. I'll let Trump know about this
the most you would get outside of the recognition of sending players the most you would get is alumni donations from said players who made it. As a Canadian i was kinda shocked to find out how many "normal" people in the states donate to their alma mater let alone pro athletes.
In 2023, NCAA college football generated $1,300,000,000 dollars and players can profit from the usage of their name, image, likeness and endorsements. Colleges don't exactly get anything from the NFL for producing NFL players but they build their reputation and attract more talented athletes moving forward, building the program and generating more revenue in that manner. This past season, Ohio State generated the most revenue at $280 million and just last night they won the Nationol Championship over Notre Dame, who generated $240 million in revenue this season. In short college football is a big money business. For perspective, the NFL generated over $20 billion in revenue in 2023.
& this is exactly why the Giants need to draft Shedeur Sanders if he falls to 3 you never know what a QB will be no matter what the media is saying, they don't know shit just like they missed on Josh Allen
Yeah Shadeur deals with a bizarre adversity. The silver spoon/everything’s gifted to him narrative. But seeing how he took that dirty hit at his knees and he continued to play, being disregarded, there’s no doubt it’s the biggest chip on his shoulder that motivates him.
To a lot of us in america, 8600 population is a big city. Only 1 plave that big wirhin 100 miles. My high school usually has graduating classes of under 20.
The Bills won their division this year (five games before the end of the season) with THREE division games left yet to play. They got the #2 seed in the playoffs and play (you guessed it) the Kansas City Chiefs again in the AFC Championship game. All after a lot of people were counting the Bills out this season and saying their Super Bowl window was closed. What many of those people are now coming to realize is that with Josh Allen as your QB, the window is always open. The Buffalo Bills will beat KC and go to the Super Bowl this season.
Finish the story on Josh! Buffalo has 5 straight AFC titles, uh Buffalo is 1 game away from Making Superbowl….don’t know why they cut his story short….?? From upstate New York, Let’s Go Buffalo!!🏈
He’s overdue for an MVP. The Overrated title was from his peers/other NFL players. Sounds like a bit of jealousy to me because I wouldn’t know how to argue against him, even if I tried. 😅 Maybe it’s because he’s the Biggest Trash Talker, which he also was voted. ? I guess Mic’d Up doesn’t pick any of it up, because all I heard him say that time he didn’t know he was mic’d up til after the game when Coach asked him if he figured it out yet, all he taunted was, “You’re so tough, you’re so tough.” after getting a light shove after the play. But who knows, it’s all baffling to me. But do we have to listen to more sports media bend the narratives & give inconsistent reasonings with MVP voting? Lamar & Josh are from the same draft class. Lamar, 2x MVP/3x MVP (sounds like soon to be) Josh, (“multi mvp candidate”) The math doesn’t add up. So it’s a popularity contest?
The college gets nothing directly. Their reputation improves which helps recruiting and a rich alum. Think of basketball’s Anthony Camillo that played one year at Syracuse before going pro, he got them a National title and donates millions now to Syracuse
To be honest with you I really don't follow sports at all. But I'm really really interested the hole would is looking at American sports it's really cool.
Yes the notoriety and it means kids are morel likely to want to go there. For example Alabama a college team I'm sure you're aware of is in Tuscaloosa Alabama. The population (111,000) is slightly higher than the capacity of the stadium (100,000). Its a tiny podunk town with literally nothing but the college itself to talk about. They are easily the biggest employer of that city. So yeah, putting guys in the league consistently can change the outlook of a city. Anything direct from the NFL would be illegal most likely. But schools like that make $10+ mil for a single home game (when you seat 100k imagine how much you make on ticket sales parking and concessions with average ticket prices reaching in the hundreds of dollars at times). For example big schools like in the SEC play 2-3 of what we call buy games (not to be mixed up with bye games) where we pay a small college to come play them. Those schools get paid in the range of $200k to millions to get their brains bashed in. Which is basically their schools athletic budget for all sports in some cases.
There are more elite quarterbacks right now than I can ever remember in the NFL so there will be some all time greats that never win a title and it sucks. But, that's the name of the game.
The colleges get nothing from the NFL. They do get a better tier of recruits if the team plays well and gets players drafted and the school gets loads of broadcasting & advertising revenues for filming their games. U.S. colleges are for profit businesses first and foremost, and being institutions of higher learning comes second & is an afterthought.
Pittsburgher here. Tough loss to KC Bills fans. Feel for you. But you'll be back, and a few times with that guy playing QB. Make sure you have a really good O-line as that is what limited Big Ben to only 3 SB visits. And he got massacred during the season with sacks and QB hits.
Don't feel bad for the colleges. Some of them are as big a business as the NFL. The money college football generates helps pay for the college sports that don't make a profit.
"College gets money" Not sure what you're referring to, but if it was Daz's question (and I'm paraphrasing) "do colleges get anything out of a player going to the NFL" they get no money. The only thing a college gets out of players going to the NFL is notoriety and something they can point to in recruiting. They get zero money from the NFL.
Josh Allen is THE most overrated athlete in world history. Mfer will throw 2 interceptions in a game, then have one play where he runs around for 10 seconds before throwing a 3 yard pass, off target, and the broadcasters will be like “omg he’s so good 😍”
Aidan asking if Skip has ever gotten anything right is hilarious 😂 btw the answer is no Aidan
Well I guess he's been right about dak
Rumor has it, if you say “Skip” 3 times in the mirror in Shannon Sharpe’s voice, he’ll appear behind you with a case of diet Mountain Dew 👀
Skip is a has been, he loved Brady and Brady is gone so Skip is lost and wrong 😂😂😂
Lol I had to laugh when Aidan said that. To be fair, he gets teased a lot even by his fellow hosts.
Buffalonian here. Words can't describe what he has done for the city. I have been a bills fan for 40 years and he has changed it all. Great reaction guys, you should come down to Buffalo for a game. So much fun. Cheers!
Same here!! He has been an amazing asset to our city. It feels electric again. I love watching him play. It's so exciting for all of WNY!
I'm from Rochester and agree that Josh Allen has changed Buffalo and all of Western New York for the better. I lived through the late 80s and early 90s Super Bowl runs and it hurt bad. I grew up and live in Buffalo, but I've been to Firebaugh once on a work trip, 100% confirmed everything good I thought about Josh. "Grow where you're planted" is such a Buffalo thing, so glad our guy was raised RIGHT
I’ve been there on a California road trip, go Bills
"How can you call him overrated?" Aidan, thank you. People forget that Mahomes inherited a playoff team. Allen had to build his. They voted him overrated, and now he is 1 of 4 quarterbacks left. Go Bills.
Us Bills fans from the Buffalo area have waited decades for Josh. He has revitalized the team, western NY and the football world !! I didn’t realize many British people followed American football. This is awesome to see !!
Live an hour away from firebaugh and Josh Allen is loved all around the central valley. True heart of California.
Some athletes just come along and they’re so likeable (to me) that I have to root for them. This guy is one. Go Bills!!! ❤
Having players make it to the NFL just helps recruiting. They don't get anything from the NFL.
He's a couple years younger than me and grew up/played one town over. Hard not to be a fan of the guy and gave me a team in the AFC to cheer on.
You're a bigger man than me. I'd get mad and bitter that a guy a few years behind me is tearing it up like this
You from Mendota?
If you haven't seen the videos of Josh jumping over defenders-- especially Anthony Barr of the Vikings several years ago-- or his unbelievable across-the-body throws while flying out of bounds, or his fumble/recovery and push through the defense to pick up a 1st down against the Cowboys, definitely check them out. josh is just also a great dude for the city of buffalo off the field too. thanks for this react and GO BILLS

Colleges don't get anything from the NFL when a player goes to the league. The only thing that the colleges get for having a player go to the league is that player bringing recognition to the school.
Yeah, and some players donate to the school too.
Just one before I die! Go Bills.
Lifelong Vikings fan, here. I’d like one Super Bowl championship before I die.
Just one. 🤷🏻♀️😁
As a lifelong Buffalo resident and Bills fan through thick and thin, all I have to say is,,,,,,,
GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!💙
The biggest difference between Josh and the mess of QBs the Bills went through since Jim Kelly retired is his attitude. Not only is his absurdly physically gifted, he LOVES playing in Buffalo, and the Bills Mafia loves him all the more for it.

- Became the first QB in NFL history to record multiple pass TDs, multiple rush TDs, 350+ passing yards & 60+ rushing yards in
the same game (including playoffs)
- Became the first player all-time with at least two TD passes & two rushing TDs in consecutive games.
2:30 yo Aidan I see that look after dad says Josh is a good looking lad, lol
Young kids are supposed to be open minded and stuff. How come young kids be saying "no Diddy" and acting homophobic like that 😂
you guys should consider watching the NFL highlights from each of the upcoming playoff games :)
Greatest Football player on the planet right now.
3:40 When I started high school I was 6'2 135lbs. Started varsity freshman year at that size. Heaviest I got in high school was 195, but I still got D1 offers at both QB and FS.
I spent A LOT of time in Firebaugh. Firebaugh Restaurant is the best place to eat after a long day working at the farm
And we in Pittsburgh would love to have him to add to the 6 SBs we have.
@gregcable3250 If you'd drafted him, you would've been scary the past 6 seasons, even with Tomlin.
Kurt Warner went from working at a grocery store to Superbowl champion. Check out the movie American Underdog, its about Kurt Warner!
15:13 College don't receive anything upfront from the league when players are drafted. They are able to use the fact that the players develop at their schools as a Resume/CV for future recruits.
Also if the student enjoyed their time at the school, they often times return to finish their degree later on and contribute to the school's endowment.
This is why schools like Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Notre Dame etc. recruit well and typically enroll better players.
Sending the coach the height and weight of their new QB commit with just a question mark is diabolical 😂
We love Josh here in Buffalo and know he’ll be the one to get us a Super Bowl. Go bills!
FIREBALLLLL!!! Still one of my favorite Shorts ever Daz haha
2:17 Daz is correct. We love our small town heroes
i was at the wyoming vs byu poinsettia bowl in san diego, i watched josh allen throw the game losing interception, but he was a hell of a quarterback
I was at the that Pittsburg game… 4tds… 400 yards oh and he sat the last quarter
Kurt Warner HOF bagged groceries and played arena football indoors on a covered ice hockey rink.
Relationships are developed between colleges and NFL execs, especially when a superstar passes through. You should watch the ESPN piece on Mendota High School football (Allen's HS' rival).
It's incredible
Also don't forget he play's for the only New York Football team. As the Giants and Jets play in the same stadium which is located in New Jersey.

Solves a bunch of problems all in one. I'll let Trump know about this
Yes I believe Kurt Warner was playing in the CFL or Arena at the time. Before the Super Bowl run he was working at a supermarket
Yup, bagging groceries to MVP in 3 years
the most you would get outside of the recognition of sending players the most you would get is alumni donations from said players who made it.
As a Canadian i was kinda shocked to find out how many "normal" people in the states donate to their alma mater let alone pro athletes.
Warner played in both the arena league and NFL europe I think.
Josh Allen has the most TDs, Passing yards, and wins in the first 7 seasons of any QB in nfl history
He very quietly dated and is now engaged to an actress. He is a class act

Would like to see a Bills vs. Lions Super Bowl.
JA17 IS THAT GUY #BILLSMAFIA
Like someone else suggested, check out Lamar Jackson’s story ahead of this Sunday’s matchup! 🍻😈
Well we beat Baltimore, Now on to Kansas City! Im hoping this will finally be our year.
They get 0 $ but helps recruiting
Finish the story on Josh! Buffalo has 5 straight AFC titles, uh Buffalo is 1 game away from Making Superbowl….don’t know why they cut his story short….?? From upstate New York, Let’s Go Buffalo!!🏈

Lamar & Josh are from the same draft class.
Lamar, 2x MVP/3x MVP (sounds like soon to be)
Josh, (“multi mvp candidate”)
The math doesn’t add up.
So it’s a popularity contest?
Yeah mahomes vs allen regular season allen is 4-1 in the playoffs allens 0-3 it feels like a coaching difference
That’s my quarterback
Go BIlls, I fucking Love Josh Allen.
Let’s go bills baby. Rough Buff stand up
There are more elite quarterbacks right now than I can ever remember in the NFL so there will be some all time greats that never win a title and it sucks.
Y’all should definitely check out Joe Burrow’s incredible story
A lot of NFL players will donate some money back to their college when they make it big
GO BILLS
Ravens v the Bills this weekend , who do you boys have winning?
Bills for me and think Aidan is same 👊🏻
Wait yall didn’t know about the perfect game????
Lamar Jackson Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen have changed to the league forever
That’s why they started allowing players to get paid because the NFL basically had free minor league with college.
Watch the mahomes video like this
Pretty good Qb. Not Dan Jones level, but decent.
Don't feel bad for the colleges. Some of them are as big a business as the NFL. The money college football generates helps pay for the college sports that don't make a profit.
Buffalo is the ONLY New York team and that's our QB and this is our time! GO BILLS!!
The Bills beat Ravens, should be a great game next week Bills/Chiefs for the AFC championship.
15:15 nothing from the NFL. Mainly would help with recruiting.
Go Bills
Colleges don’t get anything from the NFL for their players
Lamar Jackson another great story you should react to.
Yeah! And should watch that before Sundays showdown! 🙌🍻
The college team gets zed
Same thing happened to Aaron Rodgers. No one wanted him. He's now one of the all time greats.
Was
College gets money.
In USA it’s all about money
The colleges don’t get money. They get maybe more donations from alumni, but they get nothing from the NFL.
@@scottgraney5275As it is in the rest of the world. Don’t be so naive.
Taysom Hill is next
College gets nothing really.
Josh Allen is THE most overrated athlete in world history. Mfer will throw 2 interceptions in a game, then have one play where he runs around for 10 seconds before throwing a 3 yard pass, off target, and the broadcasters will be like “omg he’s so good 😍”
Sounds like Machomes.
Chiefs 3 peat boys
The AI narration is so annoying.
