Cutout for action button is a major oversight imo.
Yeah to be honest, I wish they had added a button for it rather than a cut out!

I’ve been using my Andar case all day with an iPhone 15 pro max and while a button would be much better, I have gotten used to the cutout for now. I’ve mapped it to the media remote and whenever I’m near my appletv I still am apple to press the action button without too much issue. If it were something that I wanted to use hourly it could get pretty annoying. I’m hoping Andar does us a solid who have purchased already and let us exchange for one with a button once available.
@Jeff5i Yeah the functionality of having an action button is nice but I’m still getting used to it being there, I find myself forgetting to use it lol

To echo other comments, it’s a lovely case and I do like a high quality leather case. That action button cutout though, it’s not good. I have a feeling they perhaps weren’t aware of the change while designing it, odd oversight.
You could be right but you would assume they knew. The case is fantastic and it is a shame about that one oversight. I will pass all feedback on so hopefully they work on it - cheers for watching 👍
My guess is it saves production costs since it’s almost the same dimensions as their previous cases.

Yeah that’s just the design for the 15 series too. Maybe they’ll work on it for the next series
Andar posted on IG stories that they are redesigning this soon with a button for the 15s. They originally gave me a dismissive response when I asked about it, but the comment section of their posts have been blown up with people complaining so I guess they eventually took it seriously.

Cutout for action button is a major oversight, especially since I have purchased the iPhone Pro Max case. Now I have received an email telling me that a corrected case is now available and I can have it for just 1/2 the price of the one already purchased. That great.... if I do that I'll have two new cases: one for the phone and one for the drawer. Very unfair and a tad deceptive IMO. I feel I should receive the improved case and return the unimproved case.
They said on their twitter account you can return your current case free of charge, and purchase the new one. Seems plenty fair to me

I have mine on the way and am weary of the cutout as well. But what about this thought. With the buttons there, there is a chance we may end up pressing the volume buttons when the iphone is not in sight. Never used to happen with the silent toggle switch. So what if the cutout actually helps differentiating the Action button from the volume buttons when you're not looking at them.

Hey, is it slippery using one handed?
Honestly yeah it is slippy one handed. But from my experience leather cases get grippier overtime when they wear in. But it’s definitely slippy when you first get it!

The Aspen for the 15 PM still has a big hole for the action button and it cannot be used with one hand easily. Pretty deep to reach the button. Couldn't be bothered to update the case properly with a 3rd button? Kind of ruins the case for me as you have to go in with your finger sideays or use two hands. Anyone else?

That's good news. I used it today for the first time and I noticed the magnet with the apple wallet is also quite loose and it swivels on the bottom. Kind of concerns me. I wonder if they will be fixing that issue. @@LukeTechReviews
