Bleeding Me is another great under rated song
Yep.. and some Outlaw Torn action lol
@@walfam9846 definitely, they’re my two favourite songs on the album.
Great song and one of the best post Justice guitar solos.
they need to react to bleeding me & outlaw torn! one of their best songs
Load/reload is way better than Black Album
The LOAD album is so underrated. It’s like a chunky, bluesy, Metal that just swings. I love that album lol
HERO OF THE DAY...Next
both load and reload are for me, metallica at its HEAVIEST. Something about slowing down but not losing your punch. I feel these riffs whereas with Justice and Puppets, I felt the intricacy of the insturments more than the gut punch.
i think load is one of their best albums that does not get enough love
Definitely recommend Hero Of the Day.
Its my fave album tbh. It just hits different.
I love LOAD too 🤘🤟
The "Off to never, never land" was actually a dig at themselves - King Nothing having identical song structure as Enter Sandman.
It is funny how they actually copied themselves. I’ve seen artists who don’t own their music get sued for this 😂
It does have the same structure,
But that's the structure of most standard rock/metal songs.
Now that you say that, I am noticing it more. It's almost like an inverted version of it. But that's basically the same guitar riff, ain't it?
@@reanimated It sounds like it’s in a higher key, but I don’t have a guitar with me at the moment. Here’s what it certainly has - a buildup Intro, a main riff, two verses, two choruses, a solo that begins and ends right where Sandman’s ended and then there’s a middle eight/bridge that launches the song back into the chorus. From there the guitar stands alone for a few bars as the bas and drums reenter in time just like Sandman. They do end differently though. Sandman fades out.
@@continentalaquatics2725 Sandman fades out, this fades in; fitting the inverted idea
‘90s Metallica is fukin’ badass!!
“Holier Than Thou” “The Memory Remains” “My friend of Misery” “Devil’s Dance” and many more!
Of wolf and man, and My friend of Misery are up there: )
Load and Reload were amazing albums. They get hate they don't deserve at ALL.
And 80s even better.
@gamleskalle1 Every album in the 80's was a masterpiece. They were all different artistically but didn't have a bad track on them. No band in history has this many great songs. It's not even close!
this metallica song is extremely underrated. definitely in my top 10
Bleeding Me is another good song off this album.
Bleeding me is a good one, its about his battle with alcohol.
great song!
Bleeding Me is, in my opinion, their best song lyrically.
That and Outlaw Torn are the two best songs on the album in my opinion (it’s an album that I actually really, really like).
@@ayanleman I’d say a draw with Outlaw Torn (especially live)
Load is such a underrated album ( as is reload)
I like both albums, but I don't think they are underrated, both albums were very popular in the 90s that is why Metallica still kind of comercial up until this day, because they took that direction in the 90s and succeed
No
Load is the better of the two. In my opinion Reload has a fair amount of filler on it.
@@samcourt6228 ReLoad sounds much more like Metallica, than Load. At least to me...
The single greatest regression in rock history.
Seeing as you guys did the Guns n Roses trilogy - you definitely gotta do Metallica’s Unforgiven trilogy seeing as these two bands were the biggest rock bands of the 90’s and even toured with each other
Definitely agree that the Unforgiven trilogy is a must! I may be in the minority, but III is my favorite of the 3 as it shows the maturity in James’ life to stop blaming others and look at himself. And it’s just a beautiful song musically
Seeing as
I saw that tour it was very good
Speaking of that isn't king nothing is about Axl ?
If I'm right the unforgiven trilogy is a story of James' fight with addition and overcoming it
Outlaw torn and Bleeding me is a fucking treasure !!!
You gotta do this one!
i always had a real soft spot for outlaw and for 2x4
Low Man’s Lyric by Metallica is an awesome song you should react to! Trust me!
YES!
a very underrated song
Awesome tune🎶😁👌
Totally agree. Its a must !
Along with "Mama Said"
I think Brad's right. There's nobody to blame but yourself when you fall short of your expectations.
Not always but i would say an overwhelming majority of the time.
Sometimes there is but most times I’d say that’s likely true.
It's easy to point fingers and blame others for your shortcomings, blaming yourself takes real humility but can also be as toxic as blaming others all the time
Fuel by Metallica, the best driving song ever. Also react to their cover of Turn The Page which you need to see the video. Also their cover Whiskey In The Jar video watching a house get trashed by a bunch of drunken women lol
Fuel is just a fun, basic, adrenaline filled hard rock song. My favorite from the Load/ReLoad era of Metallica!
Was never a big fan of Fuel, but that Turn the Page cover is just excellent. Whiskey in the Jar is a very fun song as well.
@@BalbazaktheGreat Fuel is good if you have ass kicking bass on soubd system as kick drums on the song refer to pistons going up & down in the engine.
Ya I’m not allowed to listen to either Fuel or the beginning of Wherever I May Roam with my wife in the car. She usually gets sick from the abrupt acceleration and swerving caused by these songs.
Agreed
They did this really cool stage stunt when this album came out and they were touring. During this song, at the end of the concert, they had towers falling over, pyro sets, and other things to make it look like everything went out of control and wrecked.
Some more great Metallica songs: Fuel, Unforgiven 2, Sad But True, House That Jack Built, Turn The Page.
They did the same thing with lady justice on the and justice for all tour
Just binged watched all yall Metallica reactions..keep up the great work ! 👏
Yeah! I love this song! Kinda underrated too.
Very
It's not that underrated, it was on the radio as much as enter sandman when it was released, its only cause its attached to load and reload
It's one of their most played songs.
one of my favorite metallica songs. love the lyrics
❤️ love watching you guys react
Damn, y'all went all the way in with a deep cut. One of my favorite bands ever. Elton John recently almost made ol' badass James Hetfield cry by calling "Nothing Else Matters" one of the greatest songs ever written.
All I Know Is You Two Are The KING AND QUEEN Of Reactions. So glad I found your Channel. I see a Million Subscribers In your Future. 😁💗🤘
The House Jack Built, Ain't My Bitch, and Mama Said are three underrated bangers on this album
Just that very first line shows Lex's vocal talent!
This is one of my favorite Metallica's to shout sing. But it always gets stuck in my head
I get something from both Brad and Lex's insights. Thank you both.
Load and Reload are 2 of my favorites. Great songs
I fkn love this song, i was expecting you to react to this masterpiece. Greetings from Chile guys
Awesome job as always Brad & Lex❤ love yalls reactions so much! Love me some Metallica so much. Its really the only metal band that I love. 💯🎶❤ its so funny the way yall are is how me and my husband is...im down with the lyrics more and my hub is the music, but yeah with this band I'm down with both the instruments and lyrics lol. Power couples!!!!
That brought me back to high school dance parties! Sweet!!
Christ, we moshed to "Enter Sandman" at my 8th grade dance lol
Brad, you nailed the interpretation. This time, you were right. That line about pointing fingers is about looking for someone else to blame.
My fav Metallica Song, probably more of the lyrics and all that crumbling feeling you can feel when you feel helpless in life at times though you think you have given it all.
Lex FYI: Creeping Death was 1984, Enter Sandman was 1991, this was 1996.
This song does sound familiar to Enter Sandman but not Creeping Death.
@@ralphfiligenzi6180 yeah I think she heard the “off to never never land” part and grouped them together. Creeping Death j believe they reacted to the live Moscow version and that was in 1991, so I can understand thinking they were around the same eras.
@@jaybird455 That makes sense.
Always been one of my favorites...Rock on
One of my fav Metallica songs
I loved this album.
Lex needs her own show lol. Watching her experience the new joy of rock/metal songs is me experiencing it all over again.
Keep doing Metallica!!!
Their song "Fixxxer" is from the same era. Please listen to it, it's awesome! I love that you do so much rock and metal music reactions. Much love to you two
That and "Outlaw Torn" are both amazing songs.
Years and years ago at a company I used to work for, the office staff on the DL are used to call our boss King Nothing. LOL
Really enjoying the channel, lots of fun watching your journey through metal.
Have a few recommendations I think you’ll both enjoy.
First is metal legends Anthrax, teaming up with rap legends Public Enemy on the song “Bring the noise” you’ve probably heard it, it’s been in more video than probably any other song.
The second is Linkin park & Jay-z doing 99 problems/points of authority
Lex is spot on, i know a boss i would love to play this song for!
I'm patently waiting for you both to hear Mama Said! Going to blow your mind🔥🤯
Still gotta get to Hero of the Day, Holier Than Thou, and Stone Cold Crazy
Lex- "You know what? I have a theory... "
Me getting closer to the monitor- "Oh boy! Here we go!" :D
The album this song is from has aged very well. It’s a masterpiece ❤️
A lot of Metallica fans have and some still do shit on the load/reload era but I think it's mostly because Metallica was a lot different sounding and looking from the classic pre black album era. The truth is that it has a lot of well crafted songs with interesting and deep lyrics and I think it's pretty great
@@justdave9610 I skipped school the day it came out. I didn’t love it then, but over the years it has grown to be one of my most favorite from their catalog. I remember the hate it received, a friend of mine even threw it out the window of his truck. I never hated the album, I was just expecting something else, and being young and naive, didn’t appreciate it right away. I wish Metallica stayed on this path…their last couple albums, are fine, but it sounds like they’re trying to please the „fans“ who hated the Bob rock era, and only want Thrash from them…you’ll never please those people
It's their best album imo I don't care what anyone thinks
I freakin' love this song. Can be played for your fave narcissist.
I used to be a narcissist, but now I’m perfect.
My first Metallica show was in 99 in São Paulo, Brazil. When they played this song, in the solo part (at 5:28), I thought I was going to go deaf, because when Kirk uses wah-wah the sound got too loud!!
"Careful what you wish, Careful what you say, Careful what you wish you may regret it, Careful what you wish you just might get it" Profound thinking. Some think if they can be rich or famous they will be happy - until they are those things and they are still miserable. Great review Brad and Lex! :-)
I love load reload
Handy Brady.. Nice woodwork job 👍
Such a groove
A lot of people will disagree, but I think Load is one of Metallica's best albums. You should react to the song "Bleeding Me"
You know what, I agree with you. I know it's not the popular opinion, but I don't care, I've enjoyed it the most of anything they've ever done. I love (almost) all their music, but Load was the album that really got me through some rough times and the one I listen to the most.
Yeah i agree
You guys have to absolutely check out the song Fuel by metallica! The memory remains and the unforgiven II. Get to that reload album!
Hey Lex check out an old PanterA song called " stronger than all " - wicked breakdown in it. Thanks brad n Lex for being a part of morning wake up coffee time!
this song could fit perfectly on the black album
I like how she talks about the "satisfieeeeeed", love james style sahuushahs
“Mama Said” great song will blow your mind I promise!!!!!!
Loving the t-shirt GENRE FLUID.. awesome 👌.. me too
This was the soundtrack to ECW's first PPV, Barely Legal. I'll always associate this song with the promo for it lol.
The best reactionists. You guys are really cool.
Metallica's Load and ReLoad albums are both right up your alley. Outlaw Torn and Fixxxer are both great but we're all still waiting to hear you do their country song Mama Said.
Outlaw Torn live Manheim Germany 2019 is awesome James killed it.
I was there at the concert and can approve! 😉🤘
This and Until It Sleeps were the first singles from the new 90s Metallica. It wasn't a bad sound, but it was concerning for longtime fans.
We wanted Metallica to take a stand against the alternative bullshit shoved down our throats, but instead, they were catering to it.
My favorite song from Load album
Lol that's my fav reaction star - Lex!
Y'all should really do some album reviews or reactions. You really can't go wrong especially if you start at the beginning and work your way you can see the transition in their style of music
Love the Yin & Yang. Lex digs on vibe, Brad digs on meaning. Sometimes it's the other way around.
Relationships in a nutshell.
A song ahead-of-its-time
It's after"Enter Sandman" but close. Top 5 of my Metallica songs. I enjoy you two.
7:50 The inspiration for this song was Axl Rose
One of their best song's in my opinion.
It is good choice
My friend of misery
Your instincts about the second pause was right Brad 🤣
Good pick.
This was my 25 year old son's favorite song since he was an infant. From 6 months old, when he heard this song, he was happy. King Nothing was one of the first 2 word phrases he spoke. He gets married this October. Bittersweet.
Glad to see reactors moving past 80s metallica!
different from older stuff, but really good music.
People like to crap on load and re-load but there are some great songs on those albums. Until it Sleeps, Fule, The Memory Remains, Hero of the Day, and Bleeding Me are just a few. I personally really like Fixxxer and Where The Wild Things Are.
Gotta do Fixxxer by them. Load and Reload are both badass albums. The tone , the tone.
Until it sleeps is great one too.
A little off topic but I attended the May 20th 1997 Seattle WA show of the King Nothing tour, during the song they had someone fully engulfed in flames come up from under the stage, he ran across and out again, the local rock station after the show tried to play it off as a real incident lol
Yes thank you guys just mama said to go hope use enjoyed I think brad liked this one more than I thort
Bleeding me is an amazing song
King Nothing is one of my favorite Metallica songs.
Also, Lex is very beautiful. ❤️
You should do hardwired was written in about 10 minutes when they were trying to decide what song on the hardwired to self destruct album should be the first track during mixing
Oh god I hope you check out fuel soon from load. It's great!
One of my favorite Metallica songs,it's so cool 🤘🎶🎸🤘🎶🎸🤘🎶🎸
I'd love to see you guys react to foo fighters or disturbed, the music is incredible 🤘🎸🎶🤘🎸🎶🤘🎸🎶🤘🎸🎶
That intro bass line always reminds me of Big Bottoms from Spinal Tap
The main riff is a spinoff of Enter Sandman's main riff, that's why it ends with off to never, neverland
Outlaw torn live with sanfran symphony, and devils dance are underrated
Really need to check out Bleeding Me by Metallica it is my personal favorite!
Yeah, she's pretty good. If you want I'll put you the link of a cool top 5 : ruclips.net/video/syiTGKFbj5k/видео.html&ab_channel=SloadsGuitare
Outlaw Torn!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Some have noted that this song is about Axl Rose. By the time he finished taking control of GNR, there was no-one left.
Time to check out Garage Inc. Am I Evil or Merciful Fate. Crash Course In Brain Surgery is cool also. Hell , their all great.
When JEB! dropped out,in '16, I said "See Ya!, & thanks for participating", & posted this to his campaign social media . :PPP
Check out Fixxxer from the same period (their next album)!
The VIDEO VERSION IS SO AMAZING WITH THE FIRE AND SNOW IS UNBELIEVABLE 😆😆😆
Bleeding Me
I hope you guys get to start doing interviews soon, like with artists and musicians. That would be great. Lars ! , call Brad and Lex
Lex is the badass!!🤘🏼👊🏼
Truly an underrated song
sad but true - metallica
DO IT!!!!
So many channels get caught in the metallica bubble, yes they are a great band but there are so many other bands to react to, try out alterbridge- calm the fire, volbeat -wait a minute my girl, black stone cherry- blame it on the boom boom, alien weapnry kai tangata, parkway drive- prey. Loving the reactions keep it up
