This is so pretty - it literally pains my heart everytime I hear Delia's little marriage monologue. She just sounds so distraught - it must have been so heartbreaking in those days to love someone that much and having to keep it to yourself. That's the reason I love this couple so much - they have pulled through and endures so much and they still adore each other. Cant wait to see where the writers take them next.

Yes but in comparison to the USA there are some places where they could go. Did you ever see the Movie Carol that takes place in 1952. Todd Haynes did a Masterpiece with that movie.
FYI there never was a law against being a lesbian only a homosexual. It was society that frowned upon lesbian relationships but as for laws there weren't any due to Queen Victoria never believing in lesbianism.

Patsy reminds me so much of my wife, her strength, her calm nature, how she is so much the perfect professional to the world, but behind it is is this fragile puppy. When I watch re-runs I scream at the TV "Patsy stop smoking and hold onto each other for 50 years! You will be old and grey, but you will have each other!!!"
The chemistry between these two incredible actresses is amazing! Such a beautiful and true to life tragic story line as they could not freely love each other in the 1960s. And they are both so gorgeous! Wow. Great editing job! Thanks for creating this video!
