This is awesome!!! Just a tiny suggestion for the selection process: select just the mortar (it might already be selected after you beveled it) and then press ctrl + i to invert the selection, that way it's faster
For those who are uninterested in downloading addons to get that look, a simple displacement texture works too. I would recommend using a musgrave texture🎉

how do i make the blender u.i. and setting work and resemble and function like 3dsmax, i have not touched blender much because the horrible way they decided to do things it is not easy at all max's is easy. so how? make vid ty, would keep u busy.
